Chapter 5: Perfumed Garden
The Rhoynar lived in city-states next to the vast network of the River Rhoyne, including Ar Noy, Chroyane, Ghoyan Drohe, Ny Sar, Sar Mell, and Sarhoy. However, they eventually came into conflict with the rising power of the Valyrian Freehold and their Dragons.
Princess Nymeria was the only warrior queen that united her people and fled Essos, eventually led her people to Dorne, at the southeastern tip of Westeros.
There are Nine Free Cities on the continent of Essos, Pentos, Braavos, Lys, Qohor, Norvos, Myr, Tyrosh, Volantis, Lorath reside. Except for Braavos, which was found by slaves escaping the Freehold, the Nine Free Cities are all colonies founded by the Valyrian Freehold.
When Valyria was destroyed during the Doom, their vast empire collapsed. During this chaotic time, known as the Century of Blood, Volantis, the eldest and largest of the Free Cities, attempted to seize power over the others but eventually lost when the other eight cities united against it.
Qohor and Norvos were founded by religious dissidents as well, who wanted to remove themselves from the Freehold's tolerance for the plethora of gods worshipped in the Freehold. What made each of these cities 'free' cities is that they held the right to rule themselves, being independent of the Freehold, though they called on their 'mother' for aid in times of war or other crisis.
Qohor, Norvos and Volantis are the cities that control the River of Rhyone. Once Leo took over these cities, rebuilding the ruins cities would not be difficult. In the River, there many Pirates and Stoneman that made thiere home here. Killing the Pirate and Stoneman would not be difficult, but it will take too much time with only 300 Spartans.

The Martell family is getting ready to sent Leonidas and Ashara off to Volantis, she has given the summary of his abilities.
"I will leave Dorne and our family to you Brother", Leo said, "The only one that can protect our peoples is ourself brother, and if you need my help. Ten thousand ships will sail to your aid, and it will be proper ships, not the broken down ships that our ancestor used." Leo smirked at him.
"Aye, I will brother...myself and Eli will make sure that Dorne will be safe.", Doran said with reassuring looks, "My spies have kept me in the loop to what going on in the Kingdom". Leo nodded.
"Did Mother Ryhone whisper something to you brother?", Elia was curious and sat closer to the edge of her seat.
"Take it how you like...but I have done all I can to better prepare Dorne safety...Once the Mad king dies, the whole kingdom will raise arms...I will do what I can, you need to protect Dorne and our family.", Leo told them casually.
Doran nodded as Leo hugs him, Leo shifted his attention toward his sister and mother.
"Stay well Mother, I will miss you", he hugged her and kiss her on her cheeks.
"Protect Lady Ashara, brother...she is after all will be your wife", Elia reminds with a playful tone and hugs him and Ashara together.
"Enough....the shadow guard can take her back here or to Starfall anytime she want, is the least I can do...", Leo told them and shifted his attention to the girl that holding his arm.
"Ashara.....there a few things that I wanted to teach you so you can protect yourself", He told her with a concerning tone." The magic that I will teach you will be different, and not the one from this world".
"So...you will teach your soon to be wife magic", Emaya said and hug Elia with a playful tear.
"I thought magic is magic, why the magic you'll teach me would be different?", Ashara asked with curiosity while the whole family also intrigued.
"There is too little magic currently in this world, to perform magic. Wizard and witches have to bond themself with an entity that would give them power, sometime this power would be granted after a sacrifice to powered their spells.", Leo said and look toward his family who sat down and digesting the information.
Leo said his final goodbye and warns Ashara they will apparate. Confused, a little nervous and excited seeing a place she only heard off.
Leo on the other hand was feeling guilty about taking a young beautiful girl away from her home country and families, he does like her but not love her as time will tell. He knows her fate but not too much, remembering the House Of Dyane a the story "Sword in the stone" pop up to his head like an Idea.
Dawn is the ancestral sword of House Dayne which could be Excalibur (or Calibur?), but he needs to see the sword if it contain any holy properties. If it does, that means like the story. Ashara could have a talent for magic, like Artur Pendragon sister, Morgana le Fay.
As they lock arms, they apparate to the island of Lys. The shadow guards have managed a secure a villa on the island, as the couple arrived. Ashara was affected by the teleportation spell that she has experienced and trying to get a hold of herself.
"Drink this Ashara...", as he conjured a mind potion," this will help with the headache." as Leo gave her the blue potion and she drank it without question, she felt the potion took its effect quickly.
Her vision shows her the man that held her gently in his arms, blushes and they laugh together in the luxuries room with a view of the sea, while the winds gently enter the room which feels the room with the aromatic smell from the Perfumed Garden which is not far from their villa.
"My prince, are we in Volantis?", Leo helps her up.
"No, we're not."He shook his head and guided her to the balcony overlooking the city." We are in Lys and Ashara please...call me Leo or Leonidas and I will call you Ash".
"Leo....", she blushed and nodded.
"Sorry, I thought it would be easier." Leo approach." plus, you can protect me from...", he pauses. Their face is almost touching but then he remembered, he pulled his face away and smirked at her. Seeing this made Ashara confused, she asked him.
"Protect you from what Leo?", she asked.
He shook his head, trying to dispel the thought he just had.
"When we are alone there no need to be formalities, just call me Leo and ill call you Ash", he said and Ashara nodded. Seeing this smile at her and said, "well...you can protect your husband from the other ladies of course", he said confidently.
Ashara was speechless, her eyebrows raise and mouth wide open to show how shock she is. But she is happy, Leo has been a gentleman. He likes to give an order but he will not Boss her around, she has been brainwashed just like his family. But this brainwashing only prevents betrayal and would not control their free will, his men and the other Lords who consume the Loyalties potion would die for him and his family.

They were guided by one of the maids into a room, there are a few boxes of clothes and pieces of jewellery that was already prepared by Leo personally for Ashara.
"Ash, since we are on the Island of Lys...I thought Lys would be a nice place for me to teach you magic before we depart for Volantis.", Leo said and direct her attention toward his gift.
"I understand my prin...I mean Leo. I'm excited to learn magic but...Aslan is here and people will recognise him...if they recognise him then they will recognise you...Leo.", She said and open one of the chests on her bed.
Once she opens it, it reveals complete outfits with a mask to finish the looks. Seeing the mask, she knew that Leo wanted her to hide her looks, but seeing and feeling the clothing's material that she felt and see is unreal.
She smiles and moved to the other chest to find a different set of cloth with a mask that complete the look also, she looks toward Leo and say.
"You wanted to hide our look, Leo. Using a mask to hide only make people more curious about the people wearing the mask....but the design and this material is...amazing", As she took out the cloths to inspect it closer.
"I will wear a mask too and if people ask. Just say that we take it off once the kingdom of Rhoyne is rebuilt....like an oath some short. Plus...this will also protect us from shadow binder...well they can try, it should be interesting seeing the Shadow Assasins.", he told her and continue to say.
"I will leave you to rest Ash, once you have rested. We can go see what Lys can offer us, I will transfer you two spells called Occlumency and Legilimency", Leo said as he walks toward the door. He turned around and wait for Ash question, Leo looks at her who is excited to learn magic and felt the information flooding into her brain.
"Legilimency Spell is a charm spell that allowed you to delve into the mind of the victim, permitting you to see memories, emotions and thoughts. Occlumency is a spell that will shield your mind from anyone or anything wanted to read your mind...this spell also will help you learn and remember things a lot more", he said.
"Thank you, Leo. I will master it as soon as possible as I want to learn and help you.", Ash asked.
"Yes, unseen the shadow guard is with you. if you need anything just call out and they will provide it...have a nice rest Ash.", Leo told her and exit her room.

The city of Lys is full of beautiful slave with the blood of Old Valyria still runs strong in the Lyseni, who is regarded as beautiful. Even the smallfolk in Lys have the pale skin, silver-gold hair, and purple, lilac, and pale blue eyes of the dragonlords of old. Many of the nobility in Lys have produced infamous beauties, and Targaryen kings and princes are known to have looked at Lys for wives and paramours.
Not plan but while in Lys Leo wanted to control The Conclave of Magisters that control one of the three daughters of Valaria, Leo can tell the shadow guard to give them the loyalties potion and get it over it with. But as promised, they will be the test subject for Ash spells. maybe the test subject for The three Unforgivable Curses. Once Lys is under his control, her navy will be his and the seas route between Dorne and Volantis will be easier to control.
[AN: There still pirate in the summer sea, Stepstone have pirates as you know and Basailk Isles pirate too I think.]
While in Lys, he wanted to explore it with Ashara. He wanted her to be able to protect herself, she will make a name of herself and become a Sorcerer of the new kingdom. She should be able to use her spell wandless, but should Leo teach her to be an animagus or find a dragon egg for her. The dragon egg is rare, his shadow has confirmed that Illyrio Mopatis have 3 dragon eggs.
Leo didn't take it from him but he did send his men to Dragonstone, from the report they found an incubator room for dragon eggs. However, they are unable to find any. Since then, Leo has been searching for one. He even told them to spread the word that he willing to buy a dragon egg, if the dragon egg is really. They just have to say any amount of gold which he will provide. Esos merchants have been in an uproar that Lord Leonids Night, an unknown king of a fallen kingdom that willing to buy the dragon egg.
The shadow guard has been checking if the egg is real, but no dragon egg has been found for the last five years. His family did mention there is someone who has the same name as Leo but never links them together as Leo still 5 years old at that time.
However, it has been a few weeks that Ash been learning magic from Leo. She has been quite the student as she eager to learn the wonder magic, she has asked Leo to show Lys as she has mastered all the spell that Leo teaches her.
Ash gaze toward him and smile, she tried to remember the plan that has been printed in her mind.
These few weeks of learning magic with Leo has made them a lot closer to each other, her personality of being a Dorne woman is resurfacing until she got to know and comfortable around him. She clings to him like his sister Elia would, as she rest her head on Leo laps and enjoy the feeling of him stroking her long dark hair.

An: Is it me or this world revolved around the number 3, Three-headed Dragon like the Targaryen banner. If I'm not mistaken, Bravos is ruled by 3 people, a Sealord and two others. Lorath is nominally ruled by three princes, and it took 3 bodies to hatched the dragon eggs.

I want to believe that the Valyrian is the work of Bloodmage from Ashai, from the Shadowland. Empire of the Dawn is one of the original Dragonlord, I want to believe that the Dayne is one of the people that have dragon blood like the Valyrian but the Dayne is descended from one of the original Dragon Lord from the Dawn kingdom that was sent to protect on of their Stronghold in Westeros, old town.
Because of this, I wanted to gift Ashara a dragon from the Shadowland, Shadow Dragon Egg. Or he can ask the faceless man, but I think they are trying to find out how to hatch the egg.

Also, THE ONLY KNOWLEDGE I HAVE CONCERNING THE GAME OF THRONES IS FROM THE SERIES AND MY RESEARCH. So if there some stuff that supposes to happen, that didn't happen because I didn't know about it or made it to the benefits of these stories. But if it something interesting please let me know, as this story is a mixture between the series and the good part from the books that I manage to understand from the Fandom website.
