Chapter 440: Preps

Only a few hours passed before Shane had reached a fairly close range of his mission's destination.

Without reaching too close and attracting unnecessary attention, he had already noticed many changes that had occurred with time.

The closer he came to the given coordinates, the more dangerous the surroundings became, but Shane had yet to be attacked.

From the looks of it, the maritime beasts in the surrounding area had noticed that he was too strong for them to meddle and waste their energy.

As such, they avoided him.

This was not uncommon, and in fact, proved to be quite helpful for Shane, who didn't want to waste anymore time.

When he was a few kilometers away from his final destination, he circulated mana through his wetsuit and into his boots, activating several effects they had.

As for the wetsuit, Shane bought it especially because of the mana concealment it had, while the shoes were, in fact, extendable flippers.
