"Hmm?" Danielle was taken aback when Nangong Ying'er suddenly appeared in front of her. Yet, she jumped down from the tree branches, ran over to her, and jumped into her arms. "Ying'er! You are finally willing to return."

Nangong Ying'er immediately hugged her back and replied. "I'm sorry for not visiting you for so long, Elle."

"It's okay," Danielle replied as she shook her head, pulling Nangong Ying'er over to sit with her. "How was your adventure in the outside world? Did you manage to control those people?"

"Unfortunately, my plans went awry." Nangong Ying'er replied with a soft sigh. "Honestly, I returned to escape from them, for they are hunting me now. Moreover, my entire clan has already fallen into their hands, so I can't continue living there."
