Chapter 113: Rain of War Part 1

The sky darkened as dusk settled over Veridiana camp.

Osric raised his hands, feeling the cool drops of rain fall onto his palms. But something wasn't right. He squinted, noticing the raindrops had a faint red tint.

Around him, Veridiana soldiers and Emerald City Guards looked around in confusion as the strange rain soaked their armor. "What the hell?" one of them muttered, trying to wipe it off. But when he did, his cloth came away stained in crimson.

"It's blood! It's raining blood!" the soldier cried.

A wave of horror swept through the camp. Soldiers frantically checked themselves, wiping at their skin and armor, their faces contorted in disgust as they realized it was true. Some turned pale, others struggled not to vomit.
