As I stood before Cloud Retainer's inviting gaze, an invitation to her abode extended, I couldn't help but feel torn.
The thought of seeing Shenhe stirred curiosity within me, yet the weight of my own pressing goals held me back.
(Mizu as Killua) : "Well, as much as I'd like to see the interior of the Adeptus' Abode, I think I'll have to decline your invitation. I have a quest to report after all."
(Cloud Retainer) : "One sees. It would've been great if one knows more about you. One is certainly curious."
Cloud Retainer asked if I was interested in entering her abode, to which I politely refused. I still had a quest to finish and I couldn't risk distractions now.
I felt a little bad for turning down such a prestigious and powerful being, but I knew that my mission came first. After all, I needed to report back to Katheryne with this vital information.
As much as I'd like to meet with Shenhe, I don't think I want to meet her now. Sooner or later, we'll meet. At that time, I'll surely make a great first impression.
With my mission completed, I made my way back down the steep incline of Mt. Aocang. Once I confirmed that Cloud Retainer isn't sensing or seeing me, I teleported to Liyue.
I felt a sense of accomplishment as I walked through the winding paths leading towards Adventurers' Guild.
I may have been an Adventurer for only a short while, but I was proud of what I had accomplished so far. All that was left was to show my success to Katheryne.
(Katheryne) : "Ah, Killua, was it? Welcome to Adventurers' Guild." She greeted me with a cheerful demeanor. "Have you finished your mission?"
(Mizu as Killua) : I felt a surge of pride as I nodded my head. "Yes, I have. I was able to defeat the Ruin Guard. Though it was a hassle to track it down. Here you can see its many valuable components."
-I showed her some valuable components of the Ruin Guard I defeated.
(Katheryne) : "Wonderful!" Katheryne cheered, clearly pleased that I was able to complete my mission.
(Katheryne) : "As you know, it's important to keep the population of Liyue safe, so we appreciate your efforts in taking down a potentially dangerous machine like the Ruin Guard. Now, I'll gladly hand over your rewards."
She handed me the hefty sum of Mora and wished me luck on my future ventures. I nodded in gratitude and left the Adventurers' Guild, ready to face the next task ahead of me.
(Mizu as Killua) : 'Huh.. What should I even do now?'
With my first mission officially completed, I couldn't help but wonder what to do next. I had successfully collected the reward from Katheryne, but I still felt a sense of aimlessness.
It was a strange feeling, having just joined the Adventurers Guild and completed my first task.
Sure, there are 3 commissions left, but I took on the most difficult one, that's to defeat the Ruin Guard, to show my worth to the Adventurers' Guild.
I couldn't help but wonder where I should go and what I should do next. I had hoped to be more clear-minded by now, but the uncertainty of the journey was slowly setting in.
Wandering through Liyue's streets, I'm lost in thought, unsure of my next move. The city unfolds around me, full of possibilities.
In the warmth of the sunlight, I ponder the simple yet profound question: What's my next step?
(Mizu as Killua) : 'Wait a moment," I thought as I looked at the sky. 'What about Mondstadt? Surely the Traveler is here already, right?'
A thought sparks within me in an instant, and a decision takes root: Mondstadt.
I can't shake the notion that the Traveler, a fellow wanderer through realms, might have set foot in the City of Freedom.
(Mizu as Killua) : "Alright, Mondstadt it is!"
The winds of possibility whisper encouragement, and with newfound purpose, I set my course for Mondstadt.
Ensuring that nobody is watching me, I take a discreet glance around and went to a place where there's no people, and in an instant, I vanish from Liyue's bustling streets, reappearing beneath the sheltering branches of Windrise.
(Mizu as Killua) : "Ah, Windrise.. Just near the Mondstadt, City of Freedom.. I like it here.. Quite a refreshing air as well.." I said as I took some deep breath to appreciate the nature.
Under the shade of Windrise's tree, I find myself contemplating the next character to be, the next power to wield.
(Mizu as Killua) : "Well, when in doubt, always go for Satoru Gojo."
Choosing my next character to be, I settle on Satoru Gojo again. His power surges in my veins and mostly the eyes, and the thoughts of wielding his abilities excites me.
His power and charisma seem like the right fit for the challenges ahead in Mondstadt, probably.
Through the eyes of Rikugan, I gain a different view of the world. As I focus on the distant horizon, I saw it – Stormterror, once a looming threat, now appears subdued.
A sense of relief washes over me, witnessing the aftermath of battles. But still, I cannot calm down yet.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Now where's the Traveler..? I need to know.."
Nervousness pulses through me as I used Rikugan and immediately grasped the news: the Traveler, Paimon, and Venti were all in the halls of Favonius Cathedral.
Their intent to return the Holy Lyre to Barbara unfolds, but an unsettling revelation hangs heavy – the cherished artifact was broken.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "I have time! I know that La Signora is waiting for an opportunity to attack Venti once they're all out of the Favonius Cathedral. Seems like I have to let her know that she shouldn't do such thing."
With a swift teleportation, I find myself om top of the head of the Anemo Archon statue in Mondstadt, patiently awaiting the emergence of the Traveler, Paimon, and Venti from the hallowed halls of the Favonius Cathedral.
The vantage point offers a quiet moment to survey the city below, so it'll be easy to see the commotion.
As the trio—Traveler, Paimon, and Venti—steps out from the cathedral's, the once peaceful place finally shatters into sudden chaos.
Two shadowy figures, Fatui Assassins, materialize behind Venti, with hostile intent, tried to kill him.
However, the Traveler is there. She unleashes the power of Anemo, a forceful gust propelling the Fatui Assassins away.
Though they weren't injured or anything, the Fatui Assassins vanished into the shadows to who knows where.
A chilling gust accompanies the ominous snap of Signora's fingers, disrupting the serenity. The trio, caught off guard, bears the brunt of the icy assault.
The Traveler, resilient yet pushed back, faces the renewed onslaught as the same Fatui Assassins, returned with vengeance.
Paimon succumbs to a freezing fate, transformed into a block of ice, while Venti finds his legs encased in ice. The unexpected confrontation leaves them beneath the unforgiving grasp of Signora's frosty command.
As La Signora approached, flanked by two Electro Cicin mages, her words cut through the tense air.
(La Signora) : "At last, Mondstadt's rodent ruler in the flesh," She declared. Her disdainful gaze fell upon the Anemo Archon, and she scorned, "Scurrying through the streets, looking for leftovers... Mondstadt calls this a god?" She seized Venti's chin.
(Venti) : "Resident rodent... Beats invasive vermin-" Venti tried to attempt a retort, but Signora swiftly slaps him.
(La Signora) : "Don't you dare speak back to me, insolent bard."
Despite the slap, Venti begins to gather Anemo energy beneath him, a subtle force cracking the icy constraints on his legs.
(La Signora ) : Unfazed, Signora continues her verbal assault. "Look at you, absentee Archon of Mondstadt," she sneers, her words laced with disdain. "How impotent you have become?"
(Venti) : "The smirk you wear looks out of place. Did you steal it from your Master's face?" He retorts with a smugness that momentarily pierces through the frosty atmosphere.
(La Signora) : Momentarily taken aback by Venti's retort, she seeks to cut the conversation short. "Should have held your tongue," she declares, determination in her eyes.
In a swift motion, she attempts to steal the Gnosis from Venti's heart, but Signora's attempt to seize Venti's Gnosis meets an unexpected obstacle. Just inches from his heart, an unseen barrier is between her fingers and Venti's heart.
Signora's confident demeanor crumbled as she was unable to snatch Venti's Gnosis due to an unforeseen barrier.
(La Signora) : Frustration colors her expression, and she mutters, "What's this interference?!" The unexpected obstacle disrupts her calculated confidence, prompting a moment of uncertainty in the face of this unforeseen challenge.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Yo~ Aren't you ranked 8th of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers?" He said, being playful and not taking this seriously. The sudden entrance of a blindfolded man adds another layer of drama.
(La Signora) : Frustrated by the unexpected turn of events, responds with a tinge of irritation. "Who dares interrupt our affairs? Know your place, interloper!" She retorts, her composure strained by the intrusion.
-The clash of personalities shall begin!
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Whoa! Calm down! You're the villain here, right? Ah, don't even try to call for your backups. I already dealt with them," Satoru Gojo remarks, his tone carrying a mix of nonchalance and confidence.
When Signora takes a quick glance around, the Fatui Assassins that were holding the Traveler and the Electro Cicin mages behind her were fainted. This adds unexpected twist to the confrontation.
(La Signora) : "Wha- How did you- Who are YOU?!" She said, a mixture of confusion and surprise clouding her usually composed demeanor.
She was racking her brain to figure out the mystery of the blindfolded man intervention. She also has an expression of surprise and confusion, thinking with the mystery of how he managed to neutralize her forces without detection.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Oh, me? Throughout the Heavens and Earth, I Alone Am the Honored One! I am Satoru Gojo!" The confident proclamation resonates through the scene, a declaration that carries an air of authority and mystery.
The Traveler and Venti, now free from the icy constraints, exchange glances tinged with curiosity and intrigue.
This blindfolded man has firmly etched his presence into their brain, making them charged with anticipation and uncertainty.
(La Signora) : Displeased by Gojo's interference, she issues a threatening tone. "You're meddling into something you shouldn't. There will be consequences," she warns with her sharp gaze and authoritative.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Well, I suggest you start running, Fair Lady. The guards are on their way, and they won't be as friendly as me, you know? Ah, also, tell your leader that "the Honoured One is here!" I said with a smirk and playful attitude.
(La Signora) : "Tch.." Somehow, she and her allies vanish into the shadows, leaving behind a lingering sense of tension.
Fleeting sense of triumph lingers as the Traveler, Venti, and I stand amidst the aftermath of the encounter, the city of Mondstadt regaining a semblance of calm.
Before the Traveler and Venti can bombard him with questions, I swiftly intervene, cautioning them about the imminent arrival of the Knights of Favonius.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "This place is about to be swarmed by the knights. We should start running to the big tree at Windrise," he suggests, urgency lacing his words.
The trio, while Paimon was comically carried by the Venti using Anemo power, now faced with the impending arrival of authorities, hastens toward the designated sanctuary, leaving the remnants of the confrontation behind.
Gojo saves the trio from La Signora, and they went under the tree in Windrise.
(Venti) : Venti, intrigued, asks, "Who might you be, and where did you come from?" With a snap of his fingers, Venti effortlessly shatters the ice block that was ending Paimon with Anemo power, freeing her from the frosty captivity.
(Lumine ) The Traveler chimes in, "Yeah, and how did you deal with those Fatui so easily?" The Traveler watches Gojo, wondering how he did it.
The atmosphere around the big tree at Windrise holds a moment of appreciation for the unanticipated ally.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "I want to make it clear that I'm not an enemy or anything," Gojo begins, addressing the gathered group. "I'm aware that you, Venti, are the Anemo Archon and Mondstadt's Archon," he continues, his tone carrying a blend of assurance and understanding.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "In my experience, the organization of the Fatui is no small matter. When they target someone, it holds a deeper value, especially when a Harbinger personally intervenes. There's more to their actions than meets the eye."
(Venti) : "Thank you for your timely intervention. We owe you one." The words carry a sincerity that reflects the relief of acknowledgment of Gojo's unexpected assistance.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Once again, I am Satoru Gojo. I am the Honoured One." he declares despite sounding childish.
