James didn't have much time to think, he decided on his answer in no time so Jessica's suspicions wouldn't arise.

 "Why do you know that, Mommy? No need to bother and get your hands dirty taking care of it all. Now the most important thing is that you and Selena are safe. All my plans are well laid out, please respect my plans, Mommy."

 James finally chose the option to hide everything, James thought this was better. Nor is he completely lying in the sense that he is only not telling the truth but also not telling lies. That was it, he just hadn't said anything to Selena. James was quite clever.
