Chapter 1: Chapter 1: Escape

Inside a clean white lab, two scientists enter and walk up to a large metal cylinder in the center of the room, awaiting their arrival. One holds a clipboard. "What've they brought this time?" asks the young scientist as he looks over his clipboard.

"Not too sure," His partner responds, "Something extraterrestrial."

"An Alien?" The younger scientist looks at his partner for approval.

"That is what that means." He laughs. "Open it." With the push of a button, the metal sheets on the cylinder begin to rise, revealing a green fluid, and the runaway Yautja.

"Holy shit…" The younger scientist steps back in fear.

"Damn right, I can see how this beauty tore through so many now." The other scientist steps forward and puts his hand against the glass. "You are one gorgeous mother-"

"Is it sedated properly?" The obsessed scientist turns his head at the younger with a disappointed frown.

"What do you think Alan? Now shut the fuck up and hand me that board."

Alan hands his superior the clipboard, it's practically snatched out of his hand, and the two prepare for a basic evaluation.

Inside the container, the Yautja slowly opens its eyes, still under the effects of the anesthesia. "It's waking up!" Alan points out.

His superior responds in a dismissive manner, "Quit being so on edge, it's normal for something this size." Alan reluctantly returns to a calmer state.

The Yautja looks around and sees the scientists. Behind them is a near eight foot tall Hish-qu-Ten with white skin and dreadlocks. The Hish approaches the container, doesn't fight the scientists, and places a hand on the glass, his red eyes staring into the captured Yautja's. In the Yautja language, he speaks, "Follow the roots." The Hish turns around and walks away, leaving the Yautja trapped. Panicked, confused and angry, and with the effects of the anesthesia wearing off, the Yautja begins to thrash around.

Both scientists noticed this time. They back away, the superior turns to Alan, "Call for security!" Alan bolts and the other scientist rushes to a desk where he finds a gun in one of the drawers. Meanwhile, the Yautja is still struggling. It begins to bang on the glass. Two hits make a crack, one more makes the crack larger, one last hit shatters the glass. The Yautja lands on all fours. It rises slowly. Dripping wet, he shakes his head, flecking the biofluid everywhere, and stares at the scientist through furrowed brows. The alarm starts blaring as the Yautja steps towards the trembling scientist. He reaches out when his hand is shot by a stun cartridge. Tearing it off his hand, he sees the guard who shot him holster his gun and draw a stun baton. "Set weapons to stun, boss wants it alive." A guard responds, "We're gonna take that thing down?"

The Yautja turns to face a more worthy foe. However, the scientist fires a round in the Yautja's hip. It growls and shoves its fingers into the man's face and crushes his skull, one handed, before throwing his corpse to the ground and roaring at the guards. A taunt, a way to say, "Give it your best shot."

In an instant, a fight breaks out. The Yautja is extremely deadly throwing haymakers and hooks, as well as using its sharp claws to occasionally slice a guard or two open. After a short lived fight, with next to no damage taken, the Yautja continues with his escape, rushing towards the exit.

He follows the narrow corridors, running past lab assistants at speeds that would definitely break some traffic laws. A security team with shields block the path. But the warrior continues forward as he plants a foot on the wall, using it as a platform, and jumps over the force, using his claws on the opposite walls for a controlled descent. The team fires their stun rounds at the predator as he approaches a room with a large series of windows overlooking a courtyard. Alan stands inside frantically pushing the door controls. However, the door closes too late and the Yautja continues his momentum, grabbing Alan along the way, and leaps through the window. As the predator held onto his face, Alan felt time slow as he took every aspect of his death in. The Yautja landed, slamming Alan to the ground and breaking his neck. Another large security force blocks the path wielding shields and rifles. A helicopter flies overhead, first blinding its men with a spotlight then the Yautja. Through the light, a sniper shoots the predator in the left shoulder with live ammunition, its neon green blood splattering the wall behind as it grunts. As a guard is still recovering from the light, the predator takes the opportunity and lunges at him. It digs its hand deep into the man's gut and pulls out his spine, bringing his head with him. The Yautja then hurls the decapitated body at the sniper, knocking him out of the helicopter; he roars as the pilot falls to his death.

The security team stops holding back as much by using live ammunition, however, this doesn't do much to increase their odds at survival. The Yautja still tears through them like paper, just with a few more spine rips this time.

After annihilating another security force, the Yautja notices a gate open. He rushes for it. Gunfire tracks him, barely missing as dust is kicked up from the ground. A large yellow lifter mech tries to stop him as he reaches the exterior wall, but all it does is provide a stepping stone for the Yautja. The Yautja jumps off the mech and tucks his legs as he leaps over the barbed wire atop the wall.

He lands in the snow, his breath cold. The alarm still echoes through the air as the escaped Yautja, Relic, sprints into the woods ahead.
