Chapter 6: Reunion
After explaining what happened in Mr. Beckon's office, Hope's face was between one of disgust and laughter, which was a weird combination but she makes it work so can't complain there. Our first class was biology, we both have it so I was very happy that I didn't have to make 'friends'. I followed the map that the principal so kindly gave us and found ourselves on the opposite side of the school since Hope didn't think to tell me that the map was upside down. "You didn't ask" was her reply and I swore I almost snapped her neck. She just smiled and we began walking once more to the correct route. We saw a door with Biology written on it and we were about to enter when we both groaned and mumbled curse words. We completely forgot that we still had our suitcases and that we didn't sign in to our dorms. We groaned and found out where the dorms were but then we stopped and realized that they would probably split us up. We walked to the corridor and smiled that our rooms were close to each other. The boys dorm on the left ad the girls on the right. There is a hallway right in between and Hope and I's room were the closest to the hallways. We hugged and I gave her the key to her dorm wondering when the hell did I collect these. We hugged and she goes to her room, I smile and took out my own key ad unlocked the door.
The room was fairly big, it had 2 medium sized beds, a mini fridge, a closet,a bathroom and 2 work tables that has, what I was guessing, computers provided by the school. 'Not bad' I thought as I placed my suitcases down. I then saw a board that has instructions such as how to operate the computers and our dress code. Apparently, we could choose our own uniform or even design our own but once we wear it, it is final, you must wear that same uniform everyday. It really helped that Simon Dupe invented a clothes duplicator that can even remake clothes. I then opened my suitcases and took out what I feel like is the best outfit for me. I took out a white sleeveless shirt and my Favorite custom made Jacket, it really suits my style and I already wear it everyday so this is perfect. Then I took out my dad's army chain from when he served in the war. The initials A.C was carved and I smiled at my dad's name, Alvaro Casero. I then took out my black jeans that were slightly ripped but so am I, just kidding, I have no muscle what so ever which sucked because of my power. Then I took out my calf high combat boots and lastly my Finger-less gloves that I love with all my heart. I went and placed the items that I needed in the duplicator, the machine needed ten minutes to finish all of the items so I decided to explore a bit.
I opened my door and made sure to lock it before I walked around the corridor. 'Looks like Hope is still busy so I'll leaver her to it'. I walked around aimlessly while waiting for the 15 minuets to be up. I found myself in the main hall and tried to remember where I came from. After finally remembering where I came from, I began walking. "Well well well what do you have here brother?" That voice, the same voice that I came to despise and hate with all of my being. "I don't know brother, that can't be our dearest young brother, can it?" The other voice that I hated, those voices made me stop in my tracks as I turned around slowly. "Deacon, Duncan" I said, acknowledging their presence.
"Azrael dear brother, why must you speak out name with such blatancy, don't tell me you're not happy to see us, cause we sure are happy to see you" Deacon said with that creepy smile on his face. I backed away and they both advanced, "Hey since you're here, why don't we play a little game?, it'll be fun like all those years ago" Duncan said while advancing. My eyes go wide as I backed away slightly faster. The reason why I feared these two was their powers. Deacon and Duncan are two of the strongest Brainiacs out there, not with intellect of course but their powers. They both individually have power of influence, to make someone bend to their will or convince them to do something that they would not normally do, for e.g., Jump off a buildi- wait a minute. These two were strong themselves and I learned to put up a mental block to defend myself but together they could break it down. As they both went to say something, I bolted out of there. One thing I can count on, was my speed, since I have enhanced strength and my legs are stronger than my hands, I had a good boost in speed, I can't race a sports car, but a truck I can beat. I heard there footsteps behind me and I smirked as I ran down the corridor, I saw my dorm block and sped up. What took me five minutes to walk was cut short to one minute as I opened my door and slammed it behind me, praying that they didn't know which dorm was mine. The good thing tho, was that they were alphas so their block was way on the other side of the school. My joy was cut short as the door opened to reveal a guy that looked like he just came from a really hard math class. "Oh, are you my roommate?" he asked as he closed the doors.
"Ah, f**k my life*
