The 'Beedrill Queen' was at least 3 to 4 times bigger than the standard Beedrill. Gan's heart jumped when he saw her, she was a little too big!
Her eyes were radiating with red light, was she the legendary Alpha-type Pokemon?!
Gan inspected it to see.

Gan's expression was filled with confusion, while also being stunned at the same time.
Once Beedrill's status appeared before Gan, the strange crown lit up. Gan had the option to click the crown to receive additional information.
[Horde Leader: A Pokemon that has established complete leadership over his or her group, horde, clan, etc.
-Effect: This title will boost the attack of any Pokemon apart of the horde by 15%.
-Effect 2: The Horde Leader's attack, speed, and defense are boosted by 35%.
-Effect 3: When establishing a horde, a Horde Leader can use the faith of their followers to boost its potential over time.
Note: This process takes time and many followers to achieve.
'Horde Leader? Was this actually an Alpha Beedrill or something?' Her size was too large, even bigger than Nidoking and Nidoqueen.
Her potential was also questionable just like the Weedle he ran into earlier. Gan was almost sure that this Beedrill was trying to form a whole star.
'It has to be a half-star, it couldn't be anything else.' Gan saw the third effect which almost proved his speculation.
Gan also was stunned to notice that the two Beedrill by her side had 4 stars in potential. This horde mentality really boosted the strength of those involved heavily.
Nonetheless, Gan had to capture this Beedrill.
BzzZz~
The 'Beedrill Queen' noticed her army had been defeated, while most weren't even present. She couldn't understand where the rest of her soldiers had gone off to.
Beedrill's eyes wandered around, she had long noticed the several species of Pokemon. However, there was no way these Pokemon would suddenly get together just to attack them like this.
But then, her gaze landed on Gan and it immediately made sense to her. The only individuals who could bring Pokemon together like this were humans!
Gan's expression changed, he could somehow tell that he had become a target.
"Guys, be careful. This big Beedrill has Drill Run, she can really hurt you." Gan's warning was toward the Nidos, but he wasn't worried, really.
He had a whole squad backing him.
Suddenly, Beedrill turned into a blur. At that moment, Alakazam's eyes lit up with blue light. Gan fell on his butt in shock as his heart began to race and pound.
The Queen Beedrill had made a move on Gan and had passed all of his Pokemon unnoticed to attack him.
Beedrill was just too fast, even for her ridiculous size—she had completely slipped through everyone's sights except Alakazam.
"Throw her away!" Gan said with wide eyes and a face filled with sweat. She had appeared a few meters away from him, ready to deal Gan a fatal blow.
"BssssZZZ!!"
Beedrill cried out in fury before being blasted away by Alakazam. She was sent flying toward a tree but quickly recovered from the attack.
This caused the other two Beedrill to attack as well. Gan believed that these two Beedrill by her side were Royal guards or something along those lines.
Gan had most of his Pokemon attack these two, he didn't care about the morals of a 1v1. He had his Pidgeotto and everyone else but Growlithe deal with those two.
Alakazam and Growlithe were ordered to deal with the 'Queen'. This Pokemon almost sent him back to the 'starter' point early.
'It seems that I will have to stay in a safe position out of eyesight in the future.' Gan was shaken just thinking about it.
"Make sure you beat the daylight out of that overgrown wasp!" Thinking about it, Gan was suddenly furious.
He wanted to inflict much pain on this Beedrill Queen. It was a good thing he took out her drones, scouts, and warriors before, or else there would have been some serious trouble.
Beedrill was quick, but unfortunately, she couldn't dodge Psychic attacks. Not to mention that she was weak to these types of attacks the most. In just thirty seconds flat, she was put on her back in defeat.
BzzZZZzzz~~!
Gan wondered what she was saying, but Alakazam simply told him that she was cursing him harshly. And speaking about how she would not let him go after he used his 'brained-washed slaves' to attack her and her horde.
Gan tossed an Ultraball at her, but she burst out of it. He ordered Alakazam to attack her mind over and over again—for about two minutes before trying again. She cried miserably as Alakazam inflicted painful telekinetic mind attacks on her.
With that, she was caught with an Ultraball.
"As much as I want to keep her, she's too hostile toward me. I can only sell her for a high price in Celedon City's Branch."
He should be able to sell the royal guard for a good price. He wanted Merit Points, so he could change a few natures. Gan was fortunate that the Horde boss was simply a Beedrill, rather than a Pinsir or a Scyther.
It would have been even more troublesome.
"Thanks, Alakazam, I almost met Arceus." Gan patted Alakazam on the back, feeling grateful.
"No problem." Alakazam nodded.
During all of this, Drowzee and Ekans evolved. They were now Hypno and Arbok, but this was understandable.
Beedrill of those levels gave so much EXP. Gan didn't bother with the knocked-out Beedrill on the ground. They could just repopulate with the group they had currently.
Gan saw that Alakazam had leveled up by 8 levels because of its great contribution. This was the same for Growlithe, who leveled up a lot from fighting the Queen. Everyone else leveled up as well and these results satisfied Gan.
They all learned new moves. Growlithe was now at level 39!
Gan sighed in relief, he was done with this place. Afterward, he just went around the forest and captured other Pokemon. He caught some Oddish, Bellsprout, and a couple of Venonat.
Gan opted to leave this forest, as much as this place was familiar to him he almost died. In no time, he made it to Pewter City.
As usual, the buildings in Pewter weren't really tall and the place seemed village-like. Gan passed the rocky tomb to Diglett's cave. This was the easiest way to get to Vermillion City, via underground.
Gan only had 10 Pokeballs left, so the first place he visited was the Pokemart. He also visited the Life Beyond store to load up on food for camping in the wild.
Afterward, he went to the Team Rocket base to gain some closure on a few things. Descending into the base, Gan was met with the same familiar scene.
Gan first went to the Merit hall where he saw several familiar faces.
"Ah, sh**, it's you again." The muscular man saw Gan and immediately recognized him.
"Hey, are you handing out free stuff?" Gan said with expectation.
"Get out of here, I'm not handing anything out for free. Piss off if you're not buying anything, brat!"
He was immediately infuriated, this was mainly because Gan had blackmailed him before and seemed to be trying something funny again.
"Hahaha, relax. I'm here to ask questions and see what I can buy." Gan didn't have many Merit points, he only had 20,000 of them.
"Questions? You better not ask for anything free, or I'll kick you out myself. What do you want?" He said with a huff.
"Sounds like you really love your job, just let me know when you're donating to the poor." Gan laughed and continued. "I need you to evaluate this Pokemon's talent and tell me the details."
Gan handed the encapsulated Weedle to the camo-dressed man.
"An evaluation?" The camo-dressed man squinted and received the Pokeball before handing it to a Fatman carrying a clipboard.
"Is that all? Are buying something now or what?" The camo-dressed man asked with boredom.
"I have a question. Do Heartscale exist and if they do, what are their functions?" Gan was curious because in the game heart scales were related to tutors.
"Of course, they exist. They don't have a function to them, but they're good for the move tutor machine."
The man was surprised, was this Grunt actually trying to learn something? Usually, Grunts just did their jobs, while most of them couldn't even read and were usually poverty-stricken. They usually took up odd jobs in places where the law rarely cared to watch.
"Move tutor machine? Where is it?" Gan was over the moon to hear this.
"Not here, our branch doesn't have one of those machines yet." The camo-dressed man sighed.
"Wow, this branch is as broke as can be." Gan frowned. Not all branches were equal and Pewter City's branch didn't have much to offer, sadly.
"What? Kid, watch your mouth!" Saliva spewed out of the camo man's mouth in anger. To actually call his branch broke of all things—this was a complete insult. It was worst than being called poor or impoverished from his point of view.
"I was joking, a joke." Gan smiled warily, he must have forgotten where he was or something.
"Tsk! I hope so." The man said coldly.
"Anyway, since this place doesn't have any of these machines, do you know where I can find them?" Gan wondered.
"Of course, Pewter City just finished opening a Power Center three days ago. That Gym Leader was finally able to finalize the opening for one. I heard he was doing it because a flow of new trainers will be challenging the league."
Of course, as a Team Rocket member who watched over Pewter, he stayed updated on the information around here.
'A Power Center?' There must be more to it than just a Move Tutor machine, right?
"Just a second" Gan walked off to a secluded area and pulled out his Pokedex. He tapped the map function and found that a Power Center did exist.
Next to it was the word new since it was established, from what it said, 2 days and 22hrs ago. Gan checked the details and found that what the man was saying was indeed true.
He put the Pokedex away and went back over to the counter.
"Do you guys sell heart scales? I'm going to need a few of them." The machines, according to him accepted only heart scales as currency.
"Hehe, we do? How many do you want?" The camo-dressed man grinned.
"How much do they cost?"
"5,000 Merit points a scale."
"Give me 4 of them." Gan kept it short, he didn't want to sell to this branch. He could earn more at the Celedon branch later.
The camo-dressed man said no more and went out back to retrieve the items. Gan waited for about three minutes until both men came from out back.
"Here are your four heart scales, now hand me your Team Rocket ID." The camo-dressed man took his card and handed it to the Fatman.
He subtracted the Merit points before handing Gan back his card and heart scales.
"Oh, and here's your Weedle. Its talent is at the Deep Silver level. It's close to ranking up to Gold rank, but that won't even be easy."
The Fatman said.
"Wait. So it's Silver then this Deep Silver rank, right?" Gan wanted to confirm.
"Yes." The Fatman nodded in swift successions.
'I was right, it really is a half-star.' Gan felt assured.
"If you're trying to level it up to the next rank, it won't be easy. I heard you were going to the Power Center. Well, if you are—then you can try your fortune in elevating its potential."
"I have another que...."
"Brat, unless you're buying something, we won't answer any more of your questions. I've already answered way too many of your questions as is." The camo-dressed man interrupted and said rudely.
"....." Gan was speechless.
Shortly after, Gan left the Rocket base. He didn't have any more Merit points to purchase anything, so there was no point in him staying.
His next destination was this Power Center.

Meanwhile, Gan had been noticed by three familiar Team Rocket members.
"My gosh, it's that brat! We didn't get to rob him last time." The tall slender man said annoyingly.
"That bastard is good a slipping through the cracks. If it wasn't for that a**hole Ghost Hand causing a ruckus, we wouldn't have had to escape from Viridian Forest."
They had to run for their lives, those Rangers, Bounty Hunters, and Ranked trainers were too aggressive and too strong when they came through.
"He won't get away this time. We'll take his money and Merit point, hehe!" The trio laughed maliciously.
Sorry, I wasn't home all day and I didn't time this. This one is late, but here anyway.
Happy Reading!
