Chapter 15: Meeting
"Nidorino! Using double kick!"
Nidorino leaped up, delivering a double kick to the gigantic Onix.
Onix couldn't withstand the attack and collapsed onto the ground, shattering the battlefield.
"Onix is faint! Trainer Blue has won!"
Blue exhaled in relief, recalled his Nidorino, and then looked at the gym leader.
This Rock-type gym leader had tanned skin, brown hair, wore green pants, and a jacket—it was Brock (Brock from the game, not the anime).
"Well done, you've really trained your Nidorino and Squirtle well."
"No need for compliments, just give me your gym badge."
Seeing Blue's straightforwardness, Brock took out the badge and handed it to Blue.
After receiving it, Blue immediately left without saying a word.
"Big brother, that guy is extremely arrogant," said Brock's younger brother, who had been serving as the referee.
"It doesn't matter whether he's arrogant or not. The fact that he easily handled my two Pokémon is more than enough."
"Big brother, it's because you held back your true strength."
"Don't say that. A gym challenge is meant to test a trainer, not to crush them."
Brock then headed out to go to the Pokémon Center. His younger brother sighed.
"I wish the Pewter Gym's type was Ground, then he could've used his Steelix."
But a wish is just a wish, and the boy resigned himself as he returned to his room.
Meanwhile...
"Your Pokémon are fully healed! We hope you have a pleasant journey!"
Blue took back his two Poké Balls and walked out of the Pokémon Center.
Taking out his map, he looked at the next city. But a voice interrupted him.
"Blue!"
"Huh?"
Blue began to sweat, this voice was extremely familiar—no, it had been familiar since childhood.
He turned fearfully in the direction of the voice.
"Yaho! Long time no see~"
It was a girl the same age as him. She wore a white hat, had long grayish-brown hair, wore a blue shirt and a red skirt, and her backpack was yellow, just like Red's.
'It's Leaf!!!' Blue thought to himself.
Leaf was a close friend of both Red and Blue, and needless to say, she was like the leader of the two.
She was a bit tomboyish and quite headstrong, but the scary thing about her was that she was pure evil!! A devil in the literal sense!!
"You're thinking something, aren't you?"
"No, you've got it wrong."
"You're definitely thinking something bad about me. We've played together for so long, do you think I wouldn't know?"
"..."
"Now you try to cosplay Red huh? Lucky to you that I'm in good mood~"
"Good mood? What's up?"
"Because if you're here, it means Red is here too, right~"

Why out of everyone he knew did it have to be Leaf?! If only he hadn't befriended her back then!
"I was planning to wait here for Red to arrive."

"Did I say I was going to wait with you?"

Suddenly, he felt like he had lost something. Panicking, he pulled out his wallet, and it was empty.
"Damn it, when did you take it??"
Then he realized he had lost something else. It seemed like it was his Potion.

He continued losing his things.
"…"
"See, isn't it better when you're quiet? That's why I like Red more than you."
'What an evil woman!'
Leaf handed back his items and money.
"If you keep being arrogant like that, I'll keep stealing from you~"

Red, hurry up and get here, keep her in check!!!!
Blue had never begged anyone before, but when it came to matters involving Leaf, he would definitely throw away his pride and beg someone to save him from this devil disguised as a young girl!

Red put on his trainer outfit again and checked each of his belongings to see if he had lost anything.
Then he turned to look at Pikachu, who was sleeping. He gently picked up Pikachu and placed her inside his red jacket.
Pikachu woke up, feeling warm, and turned her head to look at Red.
"Pika!"
She was very happy! Seeing this, Red smiled and then left the Pokémon Center.
He saw Misty waving at him and walked over to her.
"Where are you planning to go now?" she asked while petting his Pikachu.
"…"
"Pewter City? Are you planning to challenge the gym leader there?"
Red nodded.
"Is that so? As for me, I'm heading back to Cerulean City. My three useless sisters are probably up to something!" Misty clenched her fists angrily.
Red was initially surprised to learn that Misty was a gym leader, especially since she was the same age as him.
But if she was a gym leader, why would she travel all the way to the forest near his town just to fish? It was hard to understand.
As the two were about to leave, Red suddenly heard panting.
"Sugar daddy!!"
"Daddy!!"
That voice was quite familiar. After all, he was the one who had summoned them.
He turned to see five players, and oh dear, they were sweaty, and their clothes were pretty dirty. What had they been up to?
"Who are they?" Misty asked Red in confusion, but Red didn't respond.
"Oh my, my daddy is out of the hospital, and he's still handsome, but not as handsome as me!" Cuckmaster said to the others.
"Stop calling him daddy! Who gave you the right to call Red by that nickname, and how could you even compare your face to his, you jerk!"
"You get to call him that, but I can't? You're a bully!"
Still as chaotic as ever.
The five of them approached, the smell of sweat and dust on their bodies was so strong that even Misty had to back away.
"I really want to take a bath now..." Farmqueen sighed.
"…"
"Huh, what's Red saying?"
"…"
"Oh, forget it, I give up. I have no idea what he's saying!" Bob said tiredly.
"I think he means, why are we here?" Fairygoth replied.
"Actually, I don't know either. I just followed NTRslayer," Cuckmaster answered Red.
Red and the others turned to look at NTRslayer.
"Well... following the guide is always safe, right?" NTRslayer said, scratching his head.
"…"
"…"
Then the four of them turned to kick NTRslayer.
"You cunt! You made us leave early just to follow an NPC, are you that desperate to leech off him?!"
"We went through all that trouble just for such a lousy reason!"
"We ran our pants off just to follow your stupid plan, you stupid fuck!!"
Misty became more and more confused, while Red sighed, not knowing what to say.
Wait, he didn't speak anyway.
Whatever.
Chapter 16: The bath
"Meowth, do you see that spot?"
"I see it very clearly, meow."
"That will be the place where we show them how great Team Rocket really is!"
A hot air balloon shaped like Meowth floated in the night sky. Two adults and a talking Meowth.
Very cool!
"Jessie, are we going to use that plan?"
"Of course we are! We're going to use it!"
James smiled and opened their equipment.

Something seemed to be missing.
"Jessie, I think… we forgot to buy the smoke bombs."
"WHAT?? Without smoke bombs, how are we supposed to steal anything? The Boss won't be pleased with us!"
"But we don't have any money," James sighed.
"Can't you use Koffing to create smoke?" Meowth raised an eyebrow at the two.
"Oh, right, I totally forgot."
"Idiots."
"Whatever, our target will be the Pokémon Center!"
The three of them laughed gleefully, making the neighbors think there were some crazy people outside.

"Thank goodness, the Pokémon Center has a public bath!" Farmqueen soaked in the hot water, her body relaxing completely.
"This game is so realistic, it feels like we're in another world," Fairygoth remarked.
"Weren't the other games from this company like that too?" Cuckmaster scratched his wet head.
"…"
"Huh? Why are you two so quiet?"
"THIS IS THE GIRLS' BATHROOM!!" The two of them used all their strength to kick Cuckmaster in the stomach.
Cuckmaster was kicked so hard that he flew out of the girls' bath.
"You're really something else..." NTRslayer stared at Cuckmaster, who was clutching his stomach.
"Let's go, I want to see if the water here is better than my country!" Bob said excitedly.
"You live in Japan?"
"No, I live in Hawaii."
"Oh."
"H-Hey, wait up..." Cuckmaster, still holding his stomach, tried to drag himself into the men's bath.
The men's bath was completely empty, perhaps because it was late or maybe because the price was quite high.

Luckily, that orange-haired girl covered for them. What was her name again? Oh, right, Misty.
She was so kind. Next time, I should call her "sugar mommy."

"My name is Lukas, I'm 22 years old, I'm German, and I currently work as a laborer."

"And I'm Bob, 23, working at a restaurant in Hawaii."

"Stop laughing!! I thought I was the oldest here?!" Lukas stood up, accidentally revealing himself.
"..." The other two stared wide-eyed at it.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA," Both of them rolled on the floor laughing at Lukas's, which was as small as a chili.
Lukas blushed, embarrassed to the point of hiding his face in the water, covering his ears with his hands.
"What are the guys laughing about?" Farmqueen asked curiously.
"No idea. Anyway, why don't you share something about yourself first?" Fairygoth suggested.
"Well, since we're the only two girls here, we can introduce ourselves comfortably."
"What about the guys?"
"We'll deal with that later. I'm not ready to reveal my name to them just yet."
"Alright then, go ahead."
"Well, my name is Yuna, I'm 19 years old, and I recently moved to the city for college to help my parents back home."
"And I'm Lily, 25 years old, currently working as a singer."
"A singer?! That's amazing!" Yuna exclaimed, clapping her hands in excitement.
"It's not as glamorous as it sounds," Lily said, a bit shy.
"At least you have a bright future! I'm not doing so well in my studies, so if I don't pass, I'll have to go back to the countryside and work on the farm with my parents." Yuna scratched her head.
"Keep at it! If you ever need help, I'm here."
"No, I have to do this on my own. I don't want to rely on anyone else!" Yuna said with determination.
"Well, in that case, good luck," Lily smiled.
The conversation between the girls went well, meanwhile, the focus shifted back to the guys...
"YOU FUCKING LIAR!! SO YOU DON'T REALLY WANT TO GIVE ME YOUR SISTER?! I GONNA KILL YOU!!"
"HEY CALM DOWN HE GONNA DEAD!!"
"skcrkxscsskibidilsiemc" Lukas mumble incoherently, his face turn purple

'What's taking them so long in there?' Red wondered as he ate dinner with Pikachu, glancing at the nearby bathroom.
This was a temporary rental room, and the Pokémon Center always provided accommodations for trainers, including private rooms and hot baths. The prices were a bit steep, but well worth it.
Red turned to look at Pikachu, who was happily munching away, cheeks puffed out from the food. It was both amusing and adorable to see.
'One day gone already... The competition is in a month, and I still haven't tackled the first Gym...'
But that's okay, he reminded herself. Sometimes, rushing isn't the best approach.
Red continued eating.
