Chapter 2: Parents gift
Opening the curtains I stretched and began my morning routine. I brushed and washed up excited to receive my first Pokemon.
Exiting the hotel I walked the streets until I arrived to a giant compound. The gate was surrounded by multiple guards each ready to respond from the most insignificant movement.
Upon walking up to the gate I was greeted to the guards saluting me and opening the gate. I guess you can say that's the privileges of being a young master.
Making my way inside the compound I can the beautiful scene of a giant home surrounded by giant trees towering over the area it gave off a peaceful and calming feeling.
Arriving to the giant mahogany doors I pressed the code into the keypad and stepped back as the doors slowly pushed open. Walking inside I was greeted to the stoic face of my father and mother.
"Son seeing as you apart of the Reid family you must uphold our status and make a name for yourself" stated my father.
He pulled out a brief case a handed me a poke ball containing my future partner.
"Now with this Pokemon I expect you to bring great reputation to our Reid family so we can one day stand up to great family's like the oaks and wataru clan. If you happen to fail there will obviously be consequences" my father exclaimed.
Yes father I promise to bring no shame and only glory to this house hold. Taking the poke ball I released it and to my surprise a shiny beldum came into my view as it stood around expressionless.
Facing the bedlum I decided to speak. Hey beldum were gonna be partners from now on and what I need is a loyal partner who will have my back and listen to every command.
I looked on as beldum gave a silent nod signaling that it agreed with the partnership. Great taking beldum back into the poke ball. I spared a glance towards my parents then walked off after receiving beldum.
As you can tell me and parents don't have the best relationship after the abuse but it has slowly began to get better.
After taking the poke ball of beldum I then headed to the Pokemon association in our city to register as a trainer. If you happen to not register and get into a battle you can become blacklisted from all events.
Arriving to a giant building I walked to see a long line of trainers registering their id as a trainer. Waiting for around thirty minutes it finally became my turn. Handing my Pokemon and birth certificate to the staff I walked out shortly later with a trainer id saying rookie with one star.
Now that the id situation is all sorted out its time to form a training plan for my beldum and to familiarize myself with its strength's and weaknesses.
Pulling out fifty pounds weights from the field I placed them in front of beldum.
Walking onto an open field I released beldum. Alright beldum its time to get down to business first off I want you to train your proficiency in physic energy by lifting these 50 pound weights.
A blue hue began to wrap around the weights as they were lifted slowly.
We will do this kind of training for a week until you are able to double this weight and then begin to move on in training.
Not being one to leave beldum behind I also decided to train my body. To become a strong Pokemon trainer the trainer must also be strong in both mind and body.
With that said we both got to work trying to improve ourselves. After around 5 hours we slowed down and began to rest. The starts began to rise up in the sky and sun was casted away.
Beldum I'm proud of you but this is just yet the beginning we must train harder to reach a strength to stand at the peak of this world.
There will be countless life and death battles in our future which will not only grow our strength but also bond as Pokemon and trainer. Looking into the sky I conveyed all my dreams to my Pokemon of what I both expected and will achieve.
