Chapter 66: The Pi-Kahuna

(One early morning on Seafoam Island.)

(Mew along with Pikachu, Eevee, Tomo, Meloetta, Skwovet, Misty, Brock, and Togepi are having a morning jog.)

(Even though they are on vacation on Seafoam Island.)

(it's important for Mew to train for the Pokemon League.)

(Mew turns to her friends and calls out.)

Mew: "Come on guys, keep up the pace!"

Brock: "Mew sure is giving it, one-hundred percent!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "We got a little sidetracked by that Slowbro, so she's trying to make up for lost time!"

(Misty says.)

Togepi: "Toge toge," (Go go.)

(Togepi happily says.)

Tomo: "This is really fun."

(Tomo says.)

(Soon, a car appears alongside the trainers and splashes water at Mew's face.)

(Then sprays exhaust fumes at her as it drives by blinding her.)

(Mew is busy coughing and wiling the water from her face that she doesn't know a car is driving behind her.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Mew, no!"

Brock: "Look out!"

(Brock yells.)

(However, instead of hitting Mew, the cars turn and they end up causing a traffic jam.)

(A man shouts in anger.)

man: "Watch where you're going!"

(Another man opens the driver door and shouts.)

Another man: "Where'd you learn to drive?"

first man: "What?!"

(The first man exclaims in anger.)

(Soon, all the drivers involved with the traffic jam start arguing with each other.)

(Mew manages to wipe the water from her eyes and notices the cars and people surrounding her.)

(Mew wonders.)

Mew: "Hey, what happened?"

(Suddenly, she hears a whistling sound from the distance.)

(and looks to see Officer Jenny approaching them on a motorbike.)

(Officer Jenny calls out.)

Officer Jenny: "Hey! Break it up!"

(Soon, Jenny is able to clear traffic and have them moving again.)

Officer Jenny: "Well, that's over."

(Jenny says, seeing the traffic is cleared.)

(Then turns to Mew.)

Officer Jenny: "Next time, be a little more careful."

Mew: "Yeah, I'm sorry."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "But why's there so much traffic this morning, Officer Jenny?"

(Misty asks.)

Tomo: "Yeah? Why are there so many people here?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "And how come all the cars have surfboards?"

(Brock adds.)

Officer Jenny: "Because Humungadunga's coming."

(Jenny says.)

Brock: "Humungadunga?!"

(Brock says, confused.)

Officer Jenny: "It's a gigantic wave that hits the island once every twenty years."

(Jenny answers, causing everyone to be amazed.)

Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, and Skwovet: "Pika! Eev! Mel! Skwovet!" (Oh my.)

(Pikachu, Eevee, Meloetta, and Skwovet say, amazed.)

(Soon, Mew and the others are looking at the beach.)

(where surfers are trying to plant a flag on a tall rocky pillar.)

(but end up getting wiped out.)

Misty: "What are they all doing?"

(Misty asks.)

Brock: "Looks like they're all trying to stick their flags into that rock."

(Brock adds.)

Officer Jenny: "They're all trying to be surfing legends, like Jan was."

(Jenny answers.)

Misty: "Who?"

(Misty asks.)

Officer Jenny: "Jan! He was the greatest of them all. 40 years ago, he rode Humangadunga all the way to the top of the rock. Since then, surfers from all over the world have come here to try and match what Jan did. So far, no one else has ever put a flag at the top of the rock where Jan's is. But they keep trying."

(Jenny explains.)

Brock: "That must have been quite a wave."

(Brock says.)

Misty: "And Jan must've been quite a surfer to ride a wave like Humungadunga."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah,"

(Mew says.)

Togepi: "Toge," (Amazing!)

(Togepi happily says.)

(Tomo turns to Mew.)

Tomo: "Hey Mew, can we go surfing."

Mew: "Hmm, I don't see why not. It sounds fun."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "But what about your training?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "Maybe we can use this to train some of the Water Pokemon, and study some water Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Brock: "Lighten up Mew has been training pretty hard. And we could all use a little fun!"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "I guess you're right."

(Misty says.)

(Then says.)

Misty: "You better watch out, waves! Cause here I come!"

(With that, Mew and the others change into their swimsuits and begin to have fun in the water.)

(Mew along with Tomo have surfboards and are going surfing.)

(Pikachu, and the others are playing on the sand.)

(Togepi is splashing in a small shallow pool.)

(Suddenly, something seems to catch Pikachu's attention.)

(On the top of a clif.)

(there is a grown Pikachu standing and watching the wave with its blue eyes.)

(Close by is what looks like a Raichu.)

(but it's different from the one in Kanto.)

(It has lighter coloring and more rounded features.)

(Its eyes are blue with yellow half-circles along the bottom.)

(It has large yellow ears with an inner spiral toward the base and brown on the inside.)

(These ears are thicker and less pointed, a white belly.)

(white markings on its paws with bright yellow lines between its digits, and yellow color cheeks.)

(The stripes on its back have also turned white, and there is a small, white circular marking on each heel.)

(The lightning bolt-shaped tip of its tail has rounded edges.)

(Just then, the Piakchu senses something and lifts its tail up, and a strange aura surrounds its body.)

(Noticing it, a grown man wearing a green button up shirt, with long purple hair, eyebrows, and mustache.)

(turns to see the Pikachu and the different color Raichu.)

(The man says to himself.)

man [in mind ]: "That's a big wave, but, it's not THE big wave."

(Meanwhile in the ocean.)

(Mew and Tomo are actually having a great time.)

(Soon, they are up on the wave with excitement.)

(On the beach, Brock, Misty, and the Pokemon see them.)

Brock: "Hey! Mew and Tomo are up!"

(Brock says.)

Pikachu: "Pika," (Not bad.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee," (Looks fun,)

(Eevee says.)

Meloetta: "Loetta!" (Sure it.)

(Meloetta says.)

(Skwovet happily says.)

Skwovet: "Skwovet!" (Cool.)

(Mew and Tomo are having a great time, until they are wiped out from the wave.)

Misty: "Wow. Talk about a wipe out."

(Misty comments.)

(Soon, Tomo and Mew resurfaces and reach their surfboards.)

(Suddenly, Mew feels a sharp cramp on her foot and is unable to move it.)

(Mew screams in pain.)

Mew: "Ah, my foot! Something's wrong with my foot!"

(Soon, Mew begins to have troubling surfacing and falls into the water.)

(It catches the attention of the Pikachu and the odd looking Raichu on the cliff and hurries to the man to get help.)

(On the beach, Misty and Brock hear Mew calling for help.)

(as Tomo is being pushed by the waves back to shore.)

Misty: "It's Mew!"

(Misty cries out.)

(Brock rushes out to help Mew as he manages to swim to his board)

(Brock rushes over to see Mew hanging on to the board and calls out.)

Brock: "Mew, what's wrong?!"

Mew: "It's, my foot!"

(Mew cries out, but soon a big wave comes towards Mew, taking her under and pushes Tomo on his board.)

(Tomo cries out.)

Tomo: "Mew!"

(Before Brock can do anything a giant wave is heading towards Mew.)

(and Tomo continues to be pushed back to shore.)

(Mew continues to struggle swimming and staying afloat.)

(Misty cries out.)

Misty: "Oh no! That wave!"

Pikachu: "Pika Pi!" (Mew!)

(Pikachu cries out.)

(Eevee begins to run to the ocean, but Brock grabs her and says.)

Brock: "No Eevee, it's too dangerous!"

(Eevee cries out.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Mew!)

(Before the wave comes down on the barely conscious Mew.)

(the man from earlier with the Pikachu and Raichu on the board surfs over and rescues her in the nick of time.)

(surprising everyone.)

(The man says.)

???: "Puka, pipeline!"

Puka: "Chu!" (Right!)

(The Pikachu, Puka says.)

(The Pikachu, Puka tilts the board to perform the pipeline of the wave.)

(Then the man says.)

???: "Puka, shoot the curl!"

Puka: "Pika!" (Oh, yeah!)

(Puka says.)

(They shoot the curve and are getting Mew to shore safely.)

(Still barely conscious, Mew turns her head and looks to see a Pikachu in front of her.)

(Mew mutters.)

Mew: "Pika.. chu?"

(And blacks out.)

(Later on, Mew soon regains consciousness as she opens her eyes.)

(Pikachu and Eevee are right beside her to see her wake.)

(Pikachu says in relieved.)

Pikachu: "Pika!" (You're awake!)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Thank goodness!)

(Eevee says, gladly.)

Mew: "Pikachu. Eevee,"

(Mew calmly says.)

(Soon, she sees Tomo, Meloetta, Skwovet, Brock, and Misty holding Togepi.)

Misty: "How do you feel, Mew?"

(Misty asks.)

(Then Brock asks.)

Brock: "Are you okay, Mew?"

Tomo: "Are you hurt?"

(Tomo asks.)

(A little dazed, Mew asks.)

Mew: "Where am I?"

(The man from before walks over and says.)

???: "This is my cabin. How are you, kid? So, do you hurt anywhere?"

Mew: "I'm okay. Who are you?"

(Mew replies, sitting up.)

Misty: "Oh, that's Victor,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Victor's the reason you're still here. He saved your life, Mew."

(Brock adds.)

(Victor gives Mew a drink and says.)

Mew: "Thanks. And thank you for saving me."

Victor: "Oh, no, don't thank me."

(Victor says, and looks out the window to see Puka and Raichu.)

(Mew looks at the Pokemon and Raichu, and quickly recognizes the Pikachu.)

Mew: "Is that?"

(Mew asks.)

Victor: "Thank my Pikachu, Puka,"

(Victor says.)

Mew: "Puka?"

(Mew says, confused.)

(Then smiles.)

Mew: "What a cute name."

Mew: "And who is that Raichu?"

(Mew asks.)

Victor: "I call it Wave,"

(Victor says.)

(Soon, Pikachu and Eevee meet up with Puka and Wave at the cliff top.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Hey, Puka!)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee!" (Hi, Wave!)

(Eevee says.)

Puka: "Pika?" (Yeah, man?)

(Puka says.)

Wave: "Rai," (Yo,)

(Wave says.)

Pikachu: "Pika. Pika Pika," (Thank you, for saving our friend.)

(Pikachu says.)

Puka: "Pikachu," ("It was nothing.)

(Puka answers, and turns to the ocean.)

(Eevee then asks.)

Eevee: "Eev. Eevee?" (Say, what are you doing?)

Puka: "Pika Pikachu," (Sensing the coming waves.)

(Puka says.)

Wave: "Ria Raichu. Raichu," (She's trying to sense Humangadunga. The big wave.)

(Wave adds.)

(The two Pikachu, Eevee, and Raichu look over the ocean.)

(Meanwhile, downbellow, a periscope pops out and spots the Pokemon.)

(Of course, it's Team Rocket who's spying.)

Jessie: "Either I'm seeing double, or there are two Pikachu in my periscope! Along with an Eevee and a rare looking Raichu! This is more than we bargained for!"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Steal one, get three free!"

(James says.)

Meowth: "We're gonna be the boss' number one team when we show up with a pair of Pikachu and a few Pokemon!"

(Meowth happily says.)

(Then Jessie happily says.)

Jessie: "Just think! He may give us double our salary! And a two week vacation! Full speed ahead for Pikachu times two!

James and Meowth: "Aye aye!"

(James and Meowth answer.)

(Soon, Team Rocket starts up the Gyarados submarine towards the cliff where the Pokemon are.)

(Meanwhile, Mew and the others are in Victor's cabin.)

(and Misty is rocking Togepi to sleep.)

(Misty softly says.)

Misty: "Sleepy Togepi, time for your nap."

(And Togepi falls asleep for his nap.)

Mew: "So, do you live here all by yourself, Victor?"

(Mew asks.)

Victor: "No, Mew. I've got Puka and Wave,"

(Victor says.)

Mew: "Yeah, that's right."

Brock: "Have you had Puka and Wave long?"

(Brock asks.)

Victor: "For Puka, must be close to twenty years, now."

(Victor says.)

(Brock and Tomo reply, shocked.)

Brock and Tomo: "Twenty years?"

(Then Victor explains.)

Victor: "It's kinda unusual because I didn't capture Puka like you would a regular Pokémon. Puka, came to me from the sea."

(Victor can remember when he's younger, and is sitting on the beach.)

(Suddenly, he hears a cry, and looks out at sea to see a Pikachu riding on a piece of driftwood.)

(Victor is surprised to see a small Pikachu, which is actually Puka, surfing on the wave.)

(The driftwood ends up on top of the wave.)

(Seeing Puka, Victor runs towards him as Little Puka jumps off of the wood.)

(Victor then quickly catches Puka in his arms.)

(Puka looks up to see Victor, who lets out a smile.)

(Then the little Pikachu faints from exhaustion.)

(Victor adds.)

Victor: "I can't explain how or why it happened, but from that day on, Puka and I have never been apart."

Misty: "Wow. That's kinda mysterious isn't it?"

(Misty replies.)

(Then Victor says.)

Victor: "Yeah. That Puka is one mysterious Pikachu."

Brock: "What do you mean?"

(Brock asks.)

Victor: "Puka can feel the waves in its body,"

(Victor answers.)

Mew: "It feels the waves?"

(Mew asks.)

Tomo: "In its body?"

(Tomo adds.)

Victor: "Yeah, Puka can always sense when a big wave is coming our way. Puka can even feel how the waves are gonna break. Over the last twenty years, Puka and I, have surfed every big wave that's come our way."

(Victor explains.)

Mew: "Sounds like you two make quite the surfing team."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "What about Wave? How did you meet it?"

(Tomo asks.)

Victor: "I met Wave when Puka and I were surfing on the waves a couple of weeks ago. That Raichu is unusual, but it sure has a talent for surfing."

(Victor says.)

(Victor also begins to remember when Puka and Victor are surfing on the waves.)

(Suddenly, the Raichu appears before them and is using its own tail to ride on the wave.)

(Soon, the three perform surfing tricks together and are able to reach the shore calmly.)

(Raichu smiles and shows some sparks on its cheeks.)

Victor: "Since then, Wave decides to stick around for a while and ride on the waves."

(Victor explains.)

Misty: "But that Raichu is different from the ones I've seen."

(Misty says.)

Victor: "That's because it's not from here. It actually came from the Alola Region. Pikachu who evolves into an Alolan Raichu, which also becomes an Electric and Psychic type."

(Victor explains.)

Mew: "Sounds cool,"

(Mew says.)

(Soon, Misty notices some pictures.)

(Misty notices a younger Victor with a small Pikachu.)

Misty: "Victor, this is a picture of you and Puka, isn't it?"

Victor: "Yep. That's Puka and me twenty years ago,"

(Victor answers.)

Brock: "Who's that in the picture under it?"

(Brock asks.)

(They look down to see a young child with a yellow surfboard.)

Victor: "That's me, forty years ago,"

(Victor says.)

Tomo: "Whoa. Forty years ago,"

(Tomo says, surprised.)

(Soon, Mew notices another photo.)

(it has a picture of the young Victor but with another surfer with tan skin and brown hair.)

(Mew then asks.)

Mew: "Uh, who's that in the other picture there? The guy with the surfboard.

Victor: "That's Jan. A surfer named Jan,"

(Victor answers.)

(That leaves the group in shock to realize the Jan in the picture with Victor is the legendary.)

(Jan whose flag is on top of the rock pillar out at sea and has surfed on Humungadunga.)

(As Puka, Wave, Pikachu, and Eevee are staring out towards the ocean.)

(Victor explains to Mew and the others on how he met Jan.)

(Victor explains.)

Victor: "Back then, all the surfers on the beach wanted to be like Jan. He was the best. He had the talent, the technique, no fear, and a lot of style. I started surfing because I wanted to be just like him."

(Victor remembers that when he's a young boy.)

(He sees Jan surf on the waves and is astonished, mesmerized by Jan's surfing skills.)

(Young Victor tries to hit the waves, but ends up wiping out over and over.)

(He manages to stand on the board on the next attempt, but wipes out.)

(Soon, he spots Jan clapping and applauding his attempts on his surfboard.)

(That encourages Victor to try and try again.)

(Later as the sun sets, Victor spots Jan looking over the ocean.)

(Victor continues.)

Victor: "I think Jan could sense the waves, too. It seemed like he was waiting for something he could tell was coming. Then, one day, it finally came. The big wave. The one we call, Humungadunga."

(Later on the big wave, Humangadunga arrives.)

(Many surfers try to surf up to the highest point of the big wave to plant their flags.)

(Sadly, none succeeds.)

(Soon, Jan manages to ride on the big wave and plants his flag on the top of the rock pillar.)

(Everyone in the crowd cheers for Jan, even young Victor.)

(Victor adds.)

Victor: "That was the day Jan planted the flag on the top of the rock, and became a legend."

(Then Jan decides to give Victor his surfboard.)

(Victor adds.)

Victor: "Hey, you can do it too."

(That's what Jan said when he handed me his surfboard.)

(Then scoreboard went off to surf the world.)

(One day, Jan leaves the island as young Victor watches from the shore with his surfboard.)

(Then Victor says.)

Victor "Twenty years later, I challenged the big wave."

(Victor tries to take on the wave, but wipes out when he challenges the big wave itself.)

Victor: "It was the biggest disappointment of my life. And I never wanted to surf again."

(Victor says.)

(That's when a more grown Victor hears Puka's cry.)

Victor: "Then I found Puka,"

(Victor says, and lets out a chuckle.)

Victor: "Well, Puka found me. And I learned to love surfing all over again."

(Then Victor says.)

Victor "And so, if it weren't for Puka, I don't know where or what I'd be."

(Mew and her friends are amazed to hear the story.)

(and how the bond of Victor and Puka's friendship begins.)

Misty: "I bet Puka feels the same way,"

(Misty says.)

Victor: "Since then, Puka and I have teamed up and conquered every kind of wave you can imagine. There's just one left. Humungadunga."

(Victor says.)

(Then Mew says.)

Mew: "You and Puka can do it! I can sense things to, and this time, you're gonna beat it!"

Victor: "Thanks, Mew. We'll try."

(Victor says.)

(Suddenly, they begin to hear Pikachu, Eevee, Puka, and Wave's cry coming from outside, grabbing their attention.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew panics.)

(Mew and the others rush outside to see Pikachu and Eevee trapped in one robotic arm.)

(while Puka and Wave are trapped in the other.)

(The robotic arms are from Team Rocket's submarine.)

(Mew and the others are shocked to see what is happening.)

(Mew panics.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

Victor: "What's going on?"

(Victor asks, shocked.)

(Soon, they hear Team Rocket doing their motto.)

Jessie: Prepare for trouble!

James: Make it double!

(Soon, both Jessie and James are on top of the giant water platform.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

(Then water comes out of the fans Jessie and James are holding.)

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James.

Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light.

James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight.

(In the sub, Meowth pulls the switch.)

Meowth: "Meowth! That's my cue!"

(That stops the water James and Jessie are on, sending them back into the sub.)

(Soon, Mew and the others exclaim.)

Everyone: "Team Rocket!"

Jessie: "A twerp on the land is worth two Pikachu, A Raichu, and an Eevee!"

(Jessie says.)

(Both mechanical arms lower the Pokemon into the sub.)

(Pikachu and Eevee cry out.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika Pi! Eevee Eevee (Mew, help us!)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew panics and rushes to rescue them.)

(But the others stop her from falling into the cliff.)

Brock: "Careful, Mew,"

(Brock says.)

(Soon, the Pokemon are pulled into the submarine.)

Mew: "Pikachu! Eevee!"

(Mew panics.)

Victor: "Puka! Wave!"

(Victor says and runs off after them.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Victor, wait!"

(In Team Rocket's submarine, Pikachu, Eevee, and Wave try to use their electric attacks to break free, but to no avail.)

Meowth: "Don't waste your energy,"

(Meowth comments.)

James: "That little capture capsule is one-hundred percent shock proof!"

(James adds.)

Jessie: "Double time!"

(Jessie commands.)

James and Meowth: "Aye aye!"

(James and Meowth reply.)

(Team Rocket starts pedaling faster.)

(but soon they run into something with glowing red eyes, and there are multiple of them.)

(Jessie soon notices them on the monitor.)

Jessie: "What's that?"

(Soon, the red glowing eyes reveal to be a group of Gyarados.)

(Seeing them terrify Team Rocket as one swims up to the periscope.)

(Jessie panics.)

Jessie: "Gyarados!"

Meowth: "Well, what's it doing here?"

(Meowth asks, freaking out.)

(James soon remembers something and nervously says.)

James: "Well, I have heard that Gyarados travel to shallow waters once a year in order to lay their eggs."

(That makes Jessie and Meowth shocked by James' statement.)

(They end up in the Gyarados' nest, and the Pokemon are not liking the intruders.)

(who might harm their eggs, and they begin to ram the submarine.)

Meowth: "They're ramming us!"

(Meowth panics.)

(Soon, the entire herd of Gyarados are surrounding Team Rocket's sub.)

James: "During egg laying season, Gyarados don't like company."

(James says.)

Jessie: "Let's leave,"

(Jessie says.)

James and Meowth: "Aye aye!"

(James and Meowth say.)

(Team Rocket cautiously moves away from the Gyarados's egg laying ground.)

(but one of them ends up firing multiple Hyper Beams at them.)

(Team Rocket frantically try to escape the attack of the Gyarados.)

(Meanwhile, on the ocean surface.)

(Mew and the others are on a speed boat hoping to rescue the others.)

Tomo: "Team Rocket must be around here someplace!"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "And we better find them fast. I heard recently that this is the Gyarados' Egg laying season, and they do not like intruders in their habitats."

(Mew says.)

(Soon, Misty notices.)

Misty: "Hey, look, guys! Over there!"

(The group looks out to sea to see Hyper Beam being fired out of the water along with Team Rocket's submarine, flying into the air.)

(Mew and the others are shocked to see the event.)

(and soon, one Hyper Beam hits the submarine causing the submarine to be destroyed.)

(The Pokemon trapped in the capsule flies out, and the capsule breaks.)

(Soon, Team Rocket are sent flying in the opposite direction.)

(Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "Blasting off again!"

(Soon, they've been blasted to the far distance of the ocean.)

(Mew calls out her Pokemon.)

Mew: "Bulbasaur! Ivysaur! Help us out!"

(Soon Bulbasaur and Ivysaur are out of their Pokeballs)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Quick, catch them with your Vine Whip!"

(Bulbasaur quickly catches Pikachu.)

(while Ivysaur catches Eevee and Wave, but Puka continues to fall and hits the water.)

(Raichu cries out.)

Raichu: "Raichu! (Puka, no!)

(Soon, Puka struggles to stay afloat.)

Victor: "Puka!"

(Victor cries out as the waves begin to get rough.)

(Puka continues to struggle to keep its head up.)

Victor: "Puka! Grab on to this!"

(Victor calls out and tosses his surfboard into the water.)

(Puka is able to swim to the surfboard.)

(Victor takes off his shirt, and jumps into the water to swim to Puka.)

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Victor, wait!"

(Before anyone can do anything, the wave starts pitching the motorboat.)

(The boat continues to be pushed back.)

(Brock calls out.)

Brock: "The waves are too rough! We're gonna capsize! We have to get back to shore!"

(The motorboat continues to rock the boat away.)

(as Victor is able to swim to the surfboard and reunites on Puka.)

Victor: "Are you okay, Puka?"

(Victor asks.)

Puka: "Pika!" (Just fine!)

(Puka answers.)

(Suddenly, Puka senses something and his body begins to glow.)

(Seeing Puka glowing, Victor realizes it can only mean one thing.)

Victor: "Could. Could it be?"

(Soon, a giant wave appears over the horizon.)

(Victor, and Puka know it can only mean one thing.)

Victor: "It's the big wave, Humungadunga."

(Victor says.)

(Back on shore, Officer Jenny blows the whistle and calls out to everyone with the megaphone.)

Officer Jenny: "A tidal wave is heading for shore! Evacuate the beach and head for high ground, immediately!"

(Everyone evacuates from the shore to see Humangadunga coming this way.)

(and quickly head to higher ground.)

(At the front, Mew and her friends look over the horizon to see the wave, but no signs of their friends.)

Mew: "Victor. Puka I don't see them anywhere."

(Mew says, concerned.)

(The big wave continues to rise into a big wall.)

(Soon, they see someone out on the wave.)

(To their amazement, on top of the big wave are Victor and Puka.)

(Borck and Tomo call out in excitement.)

Borck and Tomo: "They're riding the wave!"

Mew and Misty: "Go, dudes!"

(Mew and Misty call out with glee.)

Pikachu and Wave: "Pikachu! Raichu! (Go, Puka!)

(Pikachu and Wave call out.)

(Soon, Victor and Puka continue to surf on the waves.)

(Victor says to Puka.)

Victor:"This is it, Puka!"

Puka: "Pika!" (Indeed!)

(Puka answers.)

(Victor then brings out his flag that is green with a yellow stripe and has a red 'V' on it.)

(The big wave arrives closer towards the rock pillar.)

(They soon fly off the wave and Victor aims his flag to the rock.)

(Then finally, plants his flag on top of the rock pillar right next to Jan's.)

(Everyone, especially Mew and the others are amazed.)

(Misty cheers.)

Misty: "They did it!"

Brock and Tomo: "Alright!"

(Brock and Tomo shout excitedly.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "I knew they could do it! Ha! I bet Jan would be pretty proud!"

Pikachu: "Pika!" (Nice job!)

(Pikachu cheers.)

Wave: "Raichu!" (Go guys!)

(Wave cheers.)

(Victor and Puka watch from the wave to see that Victor's flag is finally planted on the top of the rock pillar along with Jan.)

(A little time later, Victor and Puka arrive to show and Mew and the others are here to greet them.)

(Pikachu happily says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (Great job out there!)

Mew: "Victor, that was awesome! Congratulations,"

(Mew happily says, making Victor laugh.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (That was cool, Puka!)

(Pikachu happily says.)

Raichu: "Rai Rai!" (It was awesome!)

(Raichu says.)

Puka: "Pi Pi," (It was.)

(Puka says.)

(Victor soon notices a couple of young surfers close by.)

(He approaches them and says with a smile.)

Victor: "Hey, you can do it, too."

(The surfers gasp in surprise.)

(They smile and say.)

surfers: "Alright!"

(Victor smiles from the reply.)

(Then Puka jumps on Victor's shoulder.)

(After the event of Humangadunga.)

(Mew along with her friends, Victor, Puka, and Wave watch from Victor's home.)

(to see Victor's flag planted where Jan's flag is.)

(Mew turns to Victor and happily says.)

Mew: "You did it, Victor."

Tomo: "Yeah. You're a legend, just like Jan."

(Tomo happily says.)

Victor: "Thanks,"

(Victor says.)

(Just then, Wave surfs to Mew, Pikachu, and Eevee.)

(Victor chuckles and says.)

Victor: "I think Wave wants to come with you."

(Mew and the others become surprised to hear it.)

(Mew turns to Wave and asks.)

Mew: "Wave, you want to come?"

Wave: "Rai Rai Raichu," (Yeah. I like to come)

(Wave happily says.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "Well, then how can I say no."

Wave: "Rai. Raichu Rai Raichu," (Cool. I'll do my best to be a great Pokemon.)

(Wave says.)

(Mew giggles with a smile.)

(Misty and the others laugh with smiles as well.)

(Suddenly, Misty feels her backpack moving and shaking.)

Misty: "Huh,"

(Misty replies, and turns to her backpack.)

(Misty kneels down as she places Togepi next to her.)

(Then opens her backpack and takes out her Pokemon Egg.)

(It's flickering a bright light rapidly and soon it begins to glow bright.)

Mew: "Misty, your Egg is hatching,"

(Mew says.)

(Everyone watches with excitement to see the egg glowing and soon begins to hatch from its egg.)

(When it stops glowing, a brand new baby Pokemon is born.)

(The Pokemon is a small, ground-dwelling rodent Pokémon with pale yellow fur.)

(Its ear-tips, collar, and tail are black and angular.)

(pink cheek pouches can store small amounts of electricity, and its tiny nose looks like a dot.)

(It also has three spikes on the tip of its right ear.)

(It happily calls out.)

Pichu: "Pichu!"

Misty: "Aww, it's so cute,"

(Misty happily says.)

Tomo: "It looks a lot like Pikachu,"

(Tomo adds.)

(Brock says.)

Brock: "Right. That's a Pichu."

(Mew brings out her Pokedex, and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokémon. A pre-evolved form of Pikachu. Pichu charges itself with electricity more easily on days with thunderclouds or when the air is very dry. You can hear the crackling of static electricity coming off this Pokémon."

(Misty kneels to Pichu and says.)

Misty: "Hi Pichu, it's nice to meet you."

Pichu: "Pichu!" (Hello.)

(Pichu happily says.)

(Togepi happily says.)

Togepi: "Togeprrii," (Hi Pichu.)

(Pichu walks to Togepi and they both hug and nuzzle each other.)

(Misty giggles and says.)

Misty: "Look at that, they're getting along already."

(With that, Misty and the others begin laughing.)

(when they see Pichu and Togepi already getting along and playing together.)

(Things have been exciting, Mew has Wave and Misty has Pichu.)

(Finally, with help from Puka and determination, Victor finally was able to fulfill his dreams.)

(It just shows that it's never too late to follow your dreams.)

(Later in the night however.)

(Team Rocket is feeling low after getting washed up on a large rock out at sea.)

(Depressed, Jessie says.)

Jessie: "Well, I think this time we hit rock bottom."

James: "At least we made it to the top,"

(James says.)

(And it's revealed that they are surrounded by Gyarados as they circle around the rock.)

(Then Meowth says.)

Meowth: "All we gotta do is wait for the next Humungadunga. How long could that be? What, couple of days? A week, tops, right? Right?"

(From the looks of it, Team Rocket is going to be stuck there for quite a while.)
