Chapter 32: The Legend of Dratini

(Mew and her friends continue to travel down the road to reach their next Destination, the Safari Park.)

(They now have Tomo, a young boy who is raised and can understand Pokemon like Mew does.)

(The group continues their travel to see that it is a beautiful sunny day.)

(Soon, they arrive at the Safari Zone Gate and a building next to it.)

(They suspect this is where they need to go to get the items they need.)

Tomo: "Is this Safari Zone Park?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "It sure is, and we finally made it,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I can't wait to see the kind of Pokemon that could be living there,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "And it sure is a very nice day,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "It sure is. It's a perfect day to go to the Safari Park,"

(Mew happily says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pi," (Nice and sunny.)

(Pikachu says.)

Eevee: "Eevee." (I agree.)

(Eevee says.)

Brock: "Let's go talk to the Warden of the Park and get the supplies,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Good idea,"

(Misty says.)

(The group walks inside to meet with an old man who has gray color hair.)

(He wears a blue shirt with a black tie, a brown vest with matching shoes, and peach color pants.)

(As Mew and her friends walk inside, she notices the man has a frown on his face, but can tell he is also sad.)

(Mew says.)

Mew: "Hello sir. My friends and I would like to go to the Safari Zone."

(The man looks at the group with a frown and says.)

Kaiser: "I am Kaiser, the warden here at the Safari Zone."

Mew: "Hello,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Hi,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Nice to meet you,"

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "Hi,"

(Tomo replies.)

Kaiser: "Is it just the four of you?"

(The man, Kaiser asks.)

Mew: "Yep. Four people and two Pokemon present.

(Kaiser simply nods his head and turns his head away as he gathers the supplies.)

(The group looks at each other with skeptic expressions.)

(Then Kaiser brings out a bucket that has Safari Balls and a fishing rod.)

Mew: "Wow! These are Safari Zone balls? I have never seen them before,"

(Mew says.)

Kaiser: "These Safari balls and this fishing rod are all you can use in the Safari Zone. No other Pokeballs are permitted,"

(Kaiser says.)

Mew: "Okay,"

(Mew replies with a nod.)

(Mew takes the bucket of Pokeballs while Brock takes the fishing poles.)

(While getting the supplies, Misty and Tomo are looking at the photos.)

(Soon Misty notices one particular photo.)

Misty: "Hey, isn't this a Dratini?"

(Curious, Mew and Brock decide to look for themselves.)

(They look at the photo to see a small Pokemon.)

(It's a serpentine Pokémon with a blue body and a white underside.)

(It has white, three-pronged fins on the sides of its head and a white bump on its forehead.)

(Above its round, white snout are oval, purple eyes.)

(It also has a four pointed star on it's white bump.)

Mew: "Aww. Isn't it adorable,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "It's so cute,"

(Misty says.)

(Misty notices.)

Misty: "Isn't that Kaiser in the photo with it?"

Mew: "He looks so young, so it must have been a long time ago when this photo was taken,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Is Dratini still here?"

(Tomo asks.)

Brock: "Probably. Then again, this photo was taken a very long time ago,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Yeah. Dratini probably evolved by now,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Mew notices.)

Mew: "Hmm, that's interesting. This Dratini has a star on it's little bump.

Misty: "You're right, it does. I think it makes it cuter that way,"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, Kaiser takes the photo calmly and says.)

Kaiser: "Excuse me."

(Then walks inside the back room with the photo.)

(The group becomes confused to see the man taking the picture and leave without another word.)

Misty: "Wonder what's that about?"

(Misty asks.)

Mew: "I'm not sure, but… it's possible Kaiser knows that Dratini very well,"

(Mew replies.)

Tomo: "Kaiser looks sad,"

(Tomo replies.)

Misty: "Maybe Dratini and Kaiser were friends at some point, but something happened,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Maybe Professor Oak may know something. I'm going to call and ask,"

(Mew says.)

(In the room, Kaiser is holding the old photo of himself and the Dratini.)

(He says in deep sadness.)

Kaiser: "Dratini… you won't be disturbed ever again."

(He then looks out from the porch to see the Safari Zone.)

(Inside, Mew calls Professor Oak and asks him about Kaiser and the Dratini.)

(Professor Oak explains.)

Professor Oak: "I know Kaiser very well. And it was Kaiser himself who discovered the Legendary Dratini thirty years ago. But afterwards, trainers who had heard rumors about it suddenly started intruding, and got every Pokemon they could find. As a result, the Safari Zone ended up completely wrecked. After that, the Safari Zone's rule to use thirty Safari balls was established."

Misty: "So that's what happened,"

(Misty says, sadly.)

Mew: "So then, what happened to the Dratini that Kaiser knew?"

(Mew asks.)

Professor Oak: "In the end, it was never found. But a photo remains. Even I don't know where it really is. After all, it's a legendary Pokemon,"

(Professor Oak says.)

Mew: "They must have been really close,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "And it must have been hard for Kaiser about not being able to see it for very long,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "I bet Kaiser wants to protect Dratini so it can't be disturbed again,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "You're right,"

(Mew says.)

(Then says.)

Mew: "We're going to get going. We're going to explore the Safari Zone and get Tomo some new friends."

Professor Oak: "Okay. I hope to see you around, and it's nice to meet you, Tomo. I hope you'll get along with Mew and the others,"

(Professor Oak says.)

(Tomo nods his head in reply and Professor Oak hangs up the phone.)

Mew: "Well guys, let's get going,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I can't wait to see what kind of Pokemon we'll see,"

(Misty says.)

(Unknown to the group, Team Rocket is spying on them from the roof.)

(and has heard their conversation through the window.)

Jessie: "Did you hear that?"

(Jessie asks.)

James: "Yes. A Dratini is right here, right now,"

(James says.)

(Meowth happily says.)

Meowth: "If we get a Legendary Pokemon, there'll be coins thrown before us."

Jessie: "I won't be satisfied with that alone,"

(Jessie says.)

(Then stands up and points to the Safari Zone.)

Jessie: "We'll be taking all the Pokemon, here in the Safari Zone."

James: "Brilliant idea, Jessie,"

(James says.)

Meowth: "You operate far higher on the scale of villainy!"

(Meowth says.)

(At the front gate, Kaiser opens them and gives Mew and her friends access to the Safari Zone.)

(Mew turns to Kaiser.)

Mew: "Okay, we'll be heading off."

Kaiser: "Once you use all the Safari Balls, return here immediately,"

(Kaiser says.)

Everyone: "Okay,"

(The group replies.)

(Suddenly, they hear someone say.)

???: "Hey there, twerps!"

(The gang and Kaiser look up to see Team Rocket on the Safari Zone sign.)

Mew: "Team Rocket!"

(Mew says, shocked.)

Tomo: "Bad people!"

(Tomo angrily says.)

(Kaiser angrily says.)

Kaiser: "Hey, what are you doing there? Get down there now!"

Jessie: "We'll be getting down soon, so just wait a bit,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "For now, there's something we must do,"

(James says.)

(And with that, Team Rocket begins their motto.)

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation.

James: To unite all peoples within our nation.

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James: To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie: Jessie.

James: James.

(Mew and the others groan with annoyed expressions.)

Jessie: Team Rocket blast off at the speed of light.

(Mew then kneels to Eevee and Pikachu and whispers to them.)

(They both smile and nod their heads.)

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight.

Meowth: Meowth, that's right.

(Suddenly Mew says.)

Mew: "Pikachu, Eevee, use Thunderbolt!"

(Team Rocket turns their heads and both Pikachu and Eevee Thunderbolt.)

(With the explosion, Team Rocket is sent flying in the air.)

(They soon scream.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting off too soon!"

(Soon, Team Rocket is gone.)

Misty: "That was a quick blast off,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, do good,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "That should get them off our backs for a while,"

(Mew says.)

Kaiser: "So who were those people?"

(Kaiser calmly asks.)

Brock: "They're a group of bad guys known as Team Rocket. Knowing them, they're probably after Dratini and all the Pokemon in the Safari Zone,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew then says.)

Mew: "Professor Oak told us what happened and we'll make sure Dratini is safe if we do it."

(Kaiser calmly says.)

Kaiser: "I see. Just remember the roles, return after you use all your Safari Balls."

Mew: "We will,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "And watch out for Team Rocket. Knowing those three, they might come back to try another one of their schemes."

(Sometime later, Mew and her friends reach the Safari Zone.)

(They soon divide the Safari Balls from the large basket.)

(Since they are given thirty, they have to divide them.)

(Mew and Tomo get eight Safari Balls while Brock and Misty get seven of them.)

(The group looks around to see the wide open field of the Safari Zone.)

Tomo: "Safari Zone is huge,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "It is huge, and it is full of different Pokemon,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Tomo makes new friends,"

(Tomo happily says.)

Mew: "That's right,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "I wonder what kind of Pokemon we might find,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "We won't know until we look around and see what kind of Pokemon live in the Safari Zone,"

(Misty says.)

(Then says.)

Misty: "Let's get…"

(Suddenly, Misty feels something on the bottom of her leg.)

(She looks down to see a small, caterpillar-like Pokémon.)

(Its body is mainly red with a cream underside and face.)

(It has large yellow eyes with dark pupils.)

(It has one sharp yellow stinger on its head and two of them on its rear.)

(It has a tall, erect, red spine behind its forehead and a similar, smaller spine behind that.)

(It has small spikes running down the top portions of its body and five pairs of stubby white limbs.)

(Seeing the Pokemon causes Misty to run away screaming.)

Misty: "AAAAAHHH! Stay away from me!"

(The Pokemon is flown a bit and Mew catches it in her arms.)

Mew: "It's okay Misty, it's just a Wurmple. It won't hurt you,"

(Mew says.)

(Peeking from the tree at a distance, Misty says.)

Misty: "Bug Types really bug me!"

(Confused Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "Mew, why Misty ran away from Pokemon."

Mew: "Misty is not a big fan of Bug Type Pokemon, but I sure am,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turn to Wurmple.)

Mew: "Hey Wurmple, you wanna come with me?"

Wurmple: "Wurmple," (Yes.)

(Wurmple happily says.)

(Mew brings out her Safari Ball and says.)

Mew: "Okay, welcome to the team."

(She tapes the Safari Ball on Wurmple and goes inside.)

(Then with a few shakes and a click, Wurmple is now Mew's Pokemon.)

Misty: "Why did you have to catch that thing?!"

(Misty panics.)

(Mew takes out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Wurmple, the Worm Pokemon. A Bug Type. Using the spikes on its rear end, Wurmple peels the bark off trees and feeds on the sap that oozes out. This Pokémon's feet are tipped with suction pads that allow it to cling to glass without slipping. Depending how they're raised, they can either evolve into Cascoon and then evolve into Dustox, or a Silcoon and then evolve into Beautifly."

Mew: "Well then, I guess we'll have to wait to see what the road takes us,"

(Mew says.)

(Brock turns to Mew.)

Brock: "Maybe we can split up for a while and we can find more Pokemon. I'll go with Misty and you can go with Tomo, Pikachu, and Eevee."

Mew: "Okay. We'll see you later,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Bye,"

(Tomo says.)

(Soon enough, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee and Tomo are exploring one part of the park.)

(Mew and the others see a Tauros close by.)

Mew: "Okay Tomo, remember that we must be quiet so the Tauros won't see us,"

(Mew says.)

(Tomo, Pikachu, and Eevee nod their heads.)

(Mew then begins to sneak towards the Tauros.)

(She then throws her Pokeball.)

(Soon, Tauros goes inside the Pokeball.)

(After a few shakes, Tauros is caught.)

(Mew picks up the Pokeball and places it in her bag.)

(Mew and the other continue to explore.)

(Just then, a young wild Eevee walks up to Tomo.)

(Tomo is confused as the Pokemon sniffs him.)

(Then the Eevee happily hops into Tomo's arm and licks him, causing him to laugh.)

Tomo: "That tickles,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "I think Eevee likes you, Tomo,"

(Mew says.)

(Tomo asks.)

Tomo: "Hey Eevee, you wanna be my Pokemon."

Eevee: "Eevee." (Sure.)

(Eevee happily says.)

Tomo: "Okay Eevee,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(Tomo then catches Eevee in the Pokeball.)

(After a few shakes and a click, Tomo has caught Eevee.)

Tomo: "I caught Eevee,"

(Tomo says.)

Mew: "Good job Tomo," Now let's see what other Pokemon we can find and be friends with,"

(Mew says.)

(With that, Mew, Tomo, and the others begin to explore around and search for new friends.)

(Unknown to Mew and the others, two figures are secretly watching them from the bushes close by.)

(And soon, they begin to follow them.)

(Back at the gate, Team Rocket is able to return in a short amount of time, and knocks out Kaiser.)

(They look through some of the papers and stuff to get an idea where to find Dratini.)

(Meowth holds some papers.)

Meowth: "Man, this guy has a lot of stuff in here."

Jessie: "Well, there is definitely proof that there is a Dratini, judging by the photo,"

(Jessie says, holding the picture.)

(James looks around the desk and notices something on the desk.)

(He takes the paper off the desk and notices something that has his attention.)

(James turns to the others.)

James: "Jessie, Meowth, look what I just found."

Meowth: "What is it?"

(Meowth asks, walking over.)

(Jessie looks at the paper and begins to smile.)

Jessie: "Well, I think we just have an idea where Dratini is."

(Back in the Safari Zone, Mew, Tomo, Misty, and Brock are able to meet up with each other at a lake.)

(Misty is getting her fishing gear ready to fish.)

Mew: "Hi guys, how did you guys do?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "We did good. I caught a Whopper, a Pink Shellos, Shellder, Panpour, Snorunt, and Ducklett,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Cool. Even though I caught Wurmple, I caught a Tauros, a Weepinbell, and a Blue Shellos,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "How about you Tomo?"

(Brock asks.)

Tomo: "I caught Eevee, Doduo, Growlithe, Doduo, and Ponyta,"

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Good job Tomo,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew then turns to Brock.)

Mew: "What about you Brock?"

Brock: "I caught a Slugma, a Zigzagoon, and a female Nidoran,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "That's good. So what are you guys doing?

(Mew replies.)

Misty: "I'm going to fishing for some water Pokemon in the lake, and I'm going to use this to do it,"

(Misty says, showing a lure.)

(Mew and Tomo look at it to see the lure looks exactly like Misty and holding a peace sign.)

(Mew smiles and says.)

Mew: "It looks like you Misty."

Misty: "It's my Special lure to catch Water Pokemon,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Sounds interesting. Do you think you can help me teach Tomo how to fish,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Sure,"

(Misty says.)

(Soon, Misty and Mew throw their lure into the water.)

Tomo: "What you doing Misty?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "You see you have to throw your lure into the water, and wait til a Water Pokemon takes a bite in it. Once they bite and pull, you need to use all your strength to pull it,"

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Is fishing fun?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "If you grab a bite, it will be,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, Misty feels her fishing rod being pulled.)

(Misty continues to hold on to the rod with her strong grip.)

Misty: "I got a bite!"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "We'll help you!"

(Mew says, and quickly grabs on to the rod.)

(Tomo and Brock do the same.)

(They pull the rod with all their might and are able to pull the Pokemon to them.)

(Soon, they end up seeing a Gyarados on the fishing line.)

(The group screams in shock to see the Pokemon.)

(Soon, the fishing line breaks and the group falls back and to the ground.)

(Then Gyarados dives back in the water.)

(Misty sighs.)

Misty: "That was frightening."

Mew: "That was an unexpected catch,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, Tomo notices Mew's fishing rod is moving.)

Tomo: "Mew, you caught something,"

(Tomo says.)

(Mew turns to see her Super Rod is moving towards the water.)

(Mew manages to grab it.)

Mew: "Oh my, I think I got a bite,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I hope it's not another Gyarados,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I hope so too,"

(Mew says.)

(She then pulls the line.)

(Luckily, the Pokemon is not a Gyarados, but a different Pokemon.)

(It's really a pinniped Pokémon with an ivory furry body.)

(Its face has two black eyes, a black nose, and two tusks extending from its upper jaw.)

(It has a streamlined body with two front flippers and a long flowing tail.)

(Even in extremely cold and ice-packed waters, its tail allows it to be a swift and agile swimmer at speeds of 8 knots.)

(On top of its head is a sharp horn, which allows it to cut through the thickest ice floes.)

Misty: "It's a Shiny Dewgong!"

(Misty says, amazed.)

Mew: "And I'll catch it,"

(Mew says, and throws her Pokeball.)

(The Pokeball hits Dewgong and goes inside.)

(Then with a few shakes and a click, Dewgong has been caught.)

Misty: "Nice catch Mew,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Thanks,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Let's go catch more Pokemon and have more friends,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(Meanwhile, Kaiser is able to regain consciousness and sees that his office is wrecked.)

(Seeing the photo on the ground, he fears that Team Rocket is going to go after Dratini.)

(With a serious expression, he knows where they're heading.)

(Back in the Safari Zone, Mew and her friends continue to explore the Safari Zone and catch different Pokemon.)

(Tomo is able to catch Abra, Cubone, Tangela, Staryu, Delibird, Stantler, Smeargle, Spheal, Kecleon, Natu, and Buneary.)

(Misty fishes some more and catches a Tentacruel, Marill, Slowpoke, two Clamperls, Feebas, Luvdisc, Lotad, Chinchou.)

(Brock also ends up catching a Pinser, Voltorb, and surprisingly a Solrock, a Pokemon from the Hoenn Region.)

(Along with Hippopotas, Pansage, Nosepass, Seedot, Aron, Rhydon, Sandygast, Charjabug.)

(Mew also catches Lunatone, Miltank, Mawile, Pansear, Makuhita, and Meditite.)

(The group of friends continue to walk around the Safari Zone.)

(and are satisfied with the many Pokemon they are able to catch.)

Misty: "We caught so many Pokemon haven't we,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah. Of course, most of you already used your Safari Balls,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "That's true. I think we should stop for some lunch,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Yeah. I'm getting hungry,"

(Mew says.)

(Unknown to Mew, two figures stick their shadow heads out of the bushes.)

(Mew becomes confused and turns her head, but doesn't see anyone.)

(Mew and the others continue to talk down the road to find somewhere to have their lunch.)

(Mew senses something off, and turns around to see no one where.)

(Mew turns to her friends.)

Mew: "Guys, I'm getting the feeling we're being followed."

Misty: "Followed?"

(Misty says confused.)

(Brock turns his head back.)

Brock: "Hmm, I don't see anyone."

Misty: "I don't either,"

(Misty says.)

(Tomo then notices something.)

Tomo: "What's that over there?"

(Mew and the others look ahead to see a rocky floor area.)

(Curious, the four friends decide to walk over to the location, with the two mysterious figures watching over them.)

(Soon, they themselves at a large lake that has spike rocks and a beautiful glow.)

Misty: "Wow. this place is beautiful,"

(Misty says.)

Eevee: "Eevee." (Pretty.)

(Eevee says.)

Mew: "The lake is glowing. I think we should have our lunch here,"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pika." (I agree.)

(Pikachu says.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends are having lunch and Pikachu and Eevee are having their food as well.)

Misty: "What a perfect place to have some lunch,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "I agree. Maybe we can go swimming in the lake after lunch,"

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "Tomo likes to swim,"

(Tomo happily says.)

(Just then, Mew notices her bag begins to move.)

(Mew then opens her bag and takes out her Pokemon Egg to see flickering a glow.)

Mew: "My egg, it's starting to glow,"

(Mew says.)

Brock: "That means it's going to hatch soon,"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, Misty and Brock's backpacks begin to glow too.)

(They take notice and open them up.)

(They soon take their eggs out and notice them moving a little and flicking a glow.)

Misty: "Our eggs are glowing too,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Our eggs will be hatching soon, too,"

(Brock says.)

(Suddenly, they hear something coming from the water.)

(Eevee turns her head.)

Eevee: "Eev?" (What's that?)

(Pikachu notices.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu," (Look over there.)

Mew: "Look over where?"

(Mew asks, turning her head to where Pikachu and Eevee are looking.)

(Mew is surprised to see a little Dratini in the water and sticking its head up.)

Mew: "Hey guys, it's a Dratini,"

(Mew says.)

(Misty, Brock, and Tomo turn their heads to see the little Dratini swimming towards them.)

Misty: "Aww. It's so cute,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "Surprising that it's showing itself to us,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew looks at the Dratini and says.)

Mew: "I don't think so. The one from the photo has a star on it's white bump. This one doesn't."

Misty: "You're right. So then, this Dratini is a different one,"

(Misty says.)

(Then Dratini stops at the front of the shore and looks at them with curiosity.)

(Tomo then walks to the Shore to see the little Pokemon.)

(Dratini then comes up to him and nuzzles him on his cheek.)

Mew: "I think Dratini just wanted to say hi,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "Aww, that is sweet,"

(Misty says.)

???: "Hey kids!"

(Someone calls out.)

(The group turns their heads to see Kaiser running to them.)

Mew: "It's Kaiser,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I wonder what's going on,"

(Misty says.)

(Kaiser says.)

Kaiser: "It's good that I found you. Those crooks came back and knocked me out. They're after Dratini and the other Pokemon."

(Suddenly, someone says.)

???: "That's right."

(The group turns their heads to see Team Rocket.)

Mew: "Team Rocket,"

(Mew angrily says.)

(Tomo holds to Dratini.)

Tomo: "You don't get Dratini!

Jessie: "Sorry, but we're here for Dratini and all Pokemon in the Safari Zone,"

(Jessie says.)

(James then holds out a dynamite that has a timer.)

James: "And this detonator is going to help us. When it explodes, the Pokemon will be knocked out."

Meowth: "Then they're ours for the taking,"

(Meowth says.)

(The group gasps in shock.)

(Before they can react, James throws the bomb into the water.)

Misty: "Are those guys nuts?!"

(Misty exclaims.)

Brock: "If it explodes, the Pokemon will get knocked out!"

(Brock says.)

(Before they can react, Kaiser jumps into the water, and Mew dives in as well.)

Brock and Misty: "Mew!"

(Brock and Misty cry. calls out.)

(Mew quickly brings out Squirtle and begins to swim down to the bomb.)

(Somewhere in the water, Kaiser is swimming deeper and deeper into the sea to find the bomb.)

(Kaiser thinks.)

Kaiser [in mind]: "Where's the bomb? I have to hurry and go for a breath."

(Suddenly, Mew is swimming beside him as she holds onto Squirtle.)

(Mew turns to Squirtle.)

Mew: "Squirtle take Kaiser and go on ahead for me."

(Squirtle answers.)

Squirtle: "Squirtle." (Roger.)

(Squrtile swims to Kaiser and begins to swim him back to the surface.)

(Kaiser turns his head in concern.)

(Meanwhile, Mew continues to swim down into the water.)

Mew [in mind]: "I need to find that bomb. Kaiser worked so hard to make sure the Pokemon are protected, especially Dratini,"

(Mew thinks.)

(Soon, Mew finds the Bomb.)

(Mew grabs it and begins to swim back up to the surface.)

(But Mew running out of time, the counter continues to countdown until it reaches zero.)

(Mew thinks.)

Mew [in mind]: "I need to hurry and get the bomb out of the water."

(Back at the surface, The others begin to grow worried until Kaiser and Squirtle reach the surface.)

Misty: "Kaiser, where's Mew?"

(Misty asks.)

(Kaiser takes a breather and says.)

Kaiser: "She went to grab the bomb on her own."

(The group becomes shocked.)

(Down under the sea, Mew continues to swim back to the surface as fast as they can.)

(Soon, Mew is starting to run out of air and unable to support herself any longer Soon.)

(Mew begins to lose consciousness, and falls to the bottom of the lake with the bomb in her hand.)

(Suddenly, a mysterious Pokemon begins to swim after them.)

(Back on the surface, a rain storm pours in.)

James: "The weather just changed all of the sudden,"

(James says.)

Jessie: "To a major storm,"

(Jessie adds.)

(Soon, thunder clashes in the sky, and the waves are getting rough.)

Brock: "The lake is…"

(Brock says, shocked.)

(Soon, a whirlpool begins to appear.)

(Suddenly, a bright light appears in the center of the whirlpool.)

(Meowth asks.)

Meowth: "What's that?"

(Suddenly, something rises from the water.)

Kaiser: "Th-that's…"

(Kaiser says, shocked.)

(The light disappears to reveal a Pokemon floating in the sky.)

(It's a long, serpentine Pokémon with sky blue scales and a white underside.)

(It has a rounded snout, oval purple eyes, and a small, white horn on its forehead.)

(On each side of its head is a small, stylized wing, which is white and curves into a swirl at the base.)

(Three blue, crystal orbs adorn its body.)

(one on its neck and two on its tail.)

(And they see Mew on it's back.)

(Kaiser says.)

Kaiser: "It's the Legendary Pokemon, Dragonair."

(On the back of Dragonair is Mew, and she is holding the bomb, and is holding her Pokedex.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Dragonair, the Dragon Pokémon. A Dragon Type. A Legendary Pokémon that can freely make it rain or snow. It's said to be able to fly, even though it doesn't have wings."

(Mew calls out.)

Mew: "Hey Team Rocket. Here's your bomb back."

(Then she tosses the bomb down and Jessie catches it.)

(Soon, the bomb reaches zero and explodes, sending Team Rocket flying.)

(Team Rocket screams.)

Team Rocket: "We're blasting off again!"

(Once Team Rocket is gone, Tomo puts Dratini in the water and she struggles with the Dragonair with glee.)

(Mew return on land to see the others.)

(Kaiser then walks to Dragonair with astonishment.)

(Kaiser then asks.)

Kaiser: "Can you be…?"

(Kaiser then remembers when he's young and meets the Dratini with the star mark on its bump.)

(He promises to make sure Dratini lives in peace, and will live up to that promise.)

(Seeing the Dragonair and how it has the same mark.)

(Kaiser realizes that this Dragonair is his old friend, and Dragonair recognizes it too.)

(Kaiser says with a smile.)

Kaiser: "I knew it. You're the one from back then."

(Soon the two embrace each other with tears from their eyes.)

Kaiser: "You've grown up so splendidly,"

(Kaiser says.)

(Then Dratini swims up to Kaiser.)

(Kaiser then realizes.)

Kaiser: "Could this Dratini be your child?"

(Dragonair answers with a yes.)

(Mew and her friends smile to see the happy reunion Kaiser has with Dragonair.)

(After that, they return to the Safari Zone Warden building and talk to Professor Oak.)

Mew: "Don't worry Professor, we won't tell anyone about Dragonair and her baby,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "It would be bad if the Safari Zone got wrecked again like it did in the past,"

(Misty says.)

Professor Oak: "You've all grown up pretty well yourselves. I'm sure you all will have a wonderful time with your new Pokemon friends,"

(The professor says.)

Mew: "I will. I hope my new Pokemon won't give you trouble,"

(Mew says.)

Professor Oak: "I'm sure we'll have a good time. I'll see you again,"

(Professor Oak says, and hangs up.)

(Then Professor Oak hangs up the phone.)

(The group then sits down to relax after their adventure.)

(The three friends have their Pokemon Eggs sitting on the table to see them flickering and glowing.)

Brock: "I think the eggs are going to hatch soon,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "Yeah. I can't wait to see what Pokemon are in the eggs,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Me too,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, they hear a.)

???: "Baaaaa!"

(Mew and the others become confused and look to see two Pokemon.)

(The first is an ovine Pokémon with a thick coat of white wool that makes it look spherical.)

(Its small, black head pokes out of the front of the wool, along with two short horns.)

(It's eyes have yellow sclera, black irises, and white, horizontal pupils.)

(Two large ears are visible behind gray strings of wool that resemble braided pigtails.)

(Its hooved legs are short and mostly hidden by the wool, along with a tail that is barely visible on its rear end.)

(Sitting on the sheep like Pokemon is a red color, seed-like Pokémon with a small bright green sprout growing out of its top.)

(It has triangular, spike-like protrusions on top of its head, encircling the sprout.)

(Its body has three broad, brown, vertical stripes.)

(Two of the stripes start jaggedly above it's dark eyes and continue downward.)

(The other stripe is directly below the mouth, and brown eyelids.)

Mew: "Hello, who are you two?"

(Mew asks.)

(The little sheep calls out.)

Sheep: "Baaa!"

Sunkern: "Sunkern!"

(The other Pokemon says.)

Brock: "It's a Sunkern,"

(Brock says, amazed.)

Misty: "It's bright red,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "You're right. I remember seeing a Shiny Sunkern in a book, but the Shiny Sunkern isn't red,"

(Brock says.)

Tomo: "But what about the sheep?"

(Tomo asks.)

Mew: "That's a Wooloo, it's rare to see it around here because they're from the Galar Region,"

(Mew says.)

(But then wonders.)

Mew: "But why are they here?"

(Wooloo then hops on Mew's shoulder with a happy.)

Wooloo: "Baaa!"

(Sunkern then hops on Mew's shoulder and snuggles her.)

Mew: "You wanna come with me?"

(Mew asks.)

(Sunkern and Wooloo nod their heads.)

Mew: "Well then, how can I say new to a couple of cuties,"

(Mew says, and brings out the Safari Ball.)

(Then Mew taps them both with the Safari Balls and they go inside instantly.)

(Then they are caught after the click of the Pokeball.)

Misty: "Well, it looks like you got two new Pokemon,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah," Mew says.

(Suddenly, all of the Pokemon Eggs begin to glow bright.)

Mew: "The eggs,"

(Mew says, surprised.)

Misty: "They're going to hatch."

(Misty says with a smile.)

Brock: "Here they come,"

(Brock says.)

(The eggs begin to glow and crack.)

(Soon enough, Brock is the first one to hatch.)

(It's a small turtle like Pokemon, a yellow body coming out of the peach color holes on its red body.)

(It begins to walk, but stumbles a bit.)

Brock: "It's a Shuckle,"

(Brock says.)

(Mew holds out her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Shuckle, the Mold Pokemon. A Bug and Rock Type. Shuckle quietly hides itself under rocks, keeping its body concealed inside it's hard shell while eating berries it has stored away. The berries mix with its body fluids to become a juice."

(Just then, Misty's egg finally hatches.)

(The baby Pokemon is a small, amphibious, quadrupedal Pokémon.)

(It has a blue body with a light-blue underside.)

(Mudkip has a large head with a blue fin on top and a light-blue tail fin.)

(It has black, beady eyes and orange, star-shaped gills on its cheeks.)

(The baby Pokemon says.)

Mudkip: "Mudkip Mudkip."

Misty: "Aww, my egg hatched into a cute little Mudkip,"

(Misty happily says.)

Mudkip: "Mud,"

(Mudkip says and sprays a little Water Gun at Misty's face.)

(Misty giggles.)

Misty: "Aww, you've already learned how to use Water Gun."

(Mew's Pokedex says.)

Dexter: "Mudkip, the MudFish Pokemon. A Water Type. The fin on its head is like a sensitive radar. The fin is able to detect movements in the air and water. This Pokémon can determine the surroundings around it without using its eyes."

(Finally, Mew's egg hatches, it's a serpentine Pokémon with a purplish pink body and a white underside.)

(It has white, three-pronged fins on the sides of its head and a white bump on its forehead, a round, white oval snout, and purple eyes.)

(Mew happily says.)

Mew: "Wow! It's a Dratini."

Misty: "And it's a Shiny one,"

(Misty says.)

(Mew looks at her Pokedex and Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Dratini, the Dragon Pokemon. A Dragon Type. Dratini dwells near bodies of rapidly flowing water, such as the plunge pools of waterfalls. As it grows, Dratini will shed its skin many times."

(Mew picks up Dratini and happily says.)

Mew: "Hello Dratini, welcome."

(Dratini calls out and snuggles her little snout against Mew's cheek making her giggle.)

Mew: "You sure are a sweet little Dratini,"

(Mew happily says.)

(She looks at the little Dratini and notices that the white bump on her head has a little heart shape on it.)

(Mew smiles and hugs her new baby Pokemon.)

(Soon, Mew and her friends leave the Safari Zone as they say goodbye to Kaiser.)

(As they leave, Dragonair and Dratini are floating in the air as they see the group of friends head off on their next adventure.)
