Chapter 14: 14: horsea in the pond
The next day- Leo immediately left the in after freshening up.
"Ugh, if I had a pidgeot I could fly through all these boring places" Leo signed helplessly as he left pewter city.
Looking down at the map in his hand, Leo followed a simple path towards the mt.moon entrance labeled on the map.
...
"Frogadier come out" leo said as he tossed up the pokeball.
"Can you find any sounds of water, around here, and inform me immediately" Leo said, although he had seen a slightly big pond on the map, the map didn't show any shortcuts to get to it.
"Froga" frogadier said before immediately disappearing atop the trees..
..
It wasn't long before frogadier came back, following frogadier, Leo managed to reach the slightly big pond.
After setting up a small temporary camps he hadn't ate breakfast, Leo brought out pidgeotto as well, letting them play as they wanted.

The sound of chewing was heard beside the pond as Leo sat down with his feet inside.
He noticed some ripples reach his feet, as Leo raised his head, he noticed a small hard-like blue head poke through the water surface.
A Pokémon with a long mouth, almost like that of a tube had appeared.
It was a horsea.
"A horsea?" Leo was shocked, this was also another one of his favorite Pokémon's, only because of its dragon type attribute and its ability to swim.
"Perhaps it can even help me with the next gym battle if I train it hard enough" Leo thought silently.

Leo motioned to his two Pokémon's for them to back off, they would most likely scare this little guy away.
"Ah- you want this? Here" Leo extended the jerky in his hands towards the horsea.
It was slightly hesitant, but after seeing leo's genuine smile, it immediately swam to his side before eating the jerky.
Leo just looked on as the meat disappeared into its tube like mouth.
"Siii" it then made strange noises before rubbing itself onto Leo's legs, it was really happy.
"I have more" Leo laughed before pulling out some more jerky..

As Leo fed the horsea, it started to like him more and more, Leo could also tell that this horsea was extremely young.
"Horsea, would you like to follow me? I'll make you just as strong as those two" Leo said as he rubbed the hard head of horsea, he then pointed at frogadier and pidgeotto.
Horsea couldn't understand him, but seeing as he pointed to those two huge and scary Pokémon, it became excited, a fighting spirit lighting up in its eyes.
"Siiiii" horsea became excited as it swam around in circle around leo's leg.
"Ok then here" Leo smiled softly and pulled out a pokeball, throwing it lightly onto the horsea.
Swoosh!!
The horsea turned into a flash of light before entering the pokeball, it then shook a few times before stopping completely, signaling the success of the capture.

Leo was pleased with its level and skill set- especially since it was an easy capture.
Not only did it have the basic water gun, it even had the dragon type skill twister.
"This thing will be a beast underwater" Leo thought excitedly, a faint picture of Kyogre flashing within his mind.
"Ahh, maybe that can wait" Leo said before standing up and stretching.
He waited a while for the system to feed horsea before bringing it out, horsea immediately landed in the water.
Although it could be on land, it would be extremely slow.
"Let's train you up horsea" Leo thought, there were a few small watertype Pokémon's in this huge pond, not only that there were rattata's, ekans, sandshrew and even spearows around.
