"Sir, are you certain? This chemical isn't suitable for this experiment. It could give Eternatus more energy power!.."
"Can't you understand my instructions? Just give me that chemical already!"
"Yes, Sir Merrow.."
"Sir Merrow! The lab was caught on fire!"
"What!?.. How did this happen?.."
"The pokeball... it's opening! Everyone, evacuate quickly!"

-woke up-
"Huh!? What.. that was.. an unusual dream. It felt so.. weird." Maya woke up from her "unusual" dream and realizes something more important that had just slipped on her mind. Her eyes widened in realization, "Oh my.. how could I forget about what today is all about!?" Maya, a young girl who was born into a very wealthy family. Her parents were always busy, they didn't get a quality time to spend with Maya. So, Maya grew up all alone without her parents by her side. But, today is going to be different than others, because they had planned to have a morning breakfast together after a long time her parents apart from their dearest daughter. Maya was greeted by her maid as soon as she woke up, "Oh, Miss Maya, you're already awake! We've prepared a special table just for you this morning." Maya quickly took off her pajama and wore her dress for today's special guest.
As Maya enters the dining room, she peeked from the corner and saw her parents, just waiting for her arrival. Overwhelmed with joy, she ran towards them without any hesitation and they all shared a tight hug. Maya couldn't hold back her tears anymore "Oh, Mother, Father, I've missed you so much... Finally, after years, we're together again." Her parents expressed their heartfelt apologies for being busy with work instead of being there for Maya. They confessed how much they truly cared about her, but had to do important assignments by themselves. Maya forgave them happily without any regret, just being grateful to see her parents ever again after such long years have been past. They each took a seat and start eating their morning breakfast. Starts talking more often about their businesses and Maya talks about her school experience.
After finishing breakfast, they decided to have a talk before their busy life again. Maya started a conversation, "Mother.. May I.. have a pokémon?.. Please?" Maya pleased and nervously asked them a question, hoping for a positive "Yes" as an answer. "What!? Maya! You know we can't have pokémons in our family, that's our number one rule! I'm sorry honey, but we are not allowing you to have one." Her mother felt sympathy for Maya but still denying her. "But, why not, mother? I want to be like other kids.. they all have their own pokémon and I don't have one.." Maya's curiosity took place and asked them more questions. Her parents tried to get away from the conversation, asking her to focus more on her piano lesson. Little did she know, her parents were hiding a dark secret from Maya. Maya left the house with a sad look, heading to the lab to meet Professor Marley, her coach. But, Maya thinks Professor Marley as not just a coach, but also like a big brother to her. Professor Marley always spent time with Maya and was her closest companion.
