Cionna’s POV

The urge to cry is too much. My heart felt as if it is in a vice grip and nothing I do can change the fact that I knew at this moment how in love I am with Julian. I couldn't even explain how angry or hurt I am. All I know is that I had allowed myself to love just once. By doing so I risked my life, my chance of reuniting with my parents, and my heart all at the same time.

I don't know what happened to Julien. One minute he was in front of me pleading, begging for me to let him explain. The next moment he was gone as if he had never been part of my life at all. Lex had come back in to check on me and the tears in my eyes were too obvious to hide. I told her that the girl I met at the club when I was with Julien that night turned out not only to be an ex but an ex that wasn't an ex at all.
