Middle Realm

I’m sitting in the small room with my top lieutenants and watch as they all noticeably squirm under my gaze. Since my discussion with my father, I have been doubling my efforts with my father’s army to strengthen our forces. With me are my highest-ranked subordinates.

Vaskar is a trickster demon with as many as five hundred others under his leadership. He is my very first conquest, and his love for me is boundless. To my credit, all my lieutenants are also past lovers from one period or another. They are powerful, loyal, and mine. The only one missing from the table is my troublesome School Boy Julien.

I haven’t heard a peep from him since our brush at the club. I contained my irritation in the hopes that he had finally obtained the thrall he was influencing the night we met up. Yet, there is a suspicion brewing in my stomach that something is keeping him from me and it isn’t a thrall.
