Chapter 53: The secret and the duty, do not go hand in hand.

Lantern lit the path to the pavilion, Xuan Cheng accompanied by Huan behind, walked with slow and heavy steps. With a crawling progress of her feet carrying a regal bearing, she pondered about many things at the same time. Disorganized rush of doubts were making her anxious, however she was too tired to spare them any energy. 

Putting a hold to all her questions and doubts, she continued walking, transitioning from bright hallway bridge that connected the pavilion built on the lake to the rest of the imperial palace, she walked into the dim lit pathway that led her to the gardens. 

Nature was what she needed, and ironically the flowers that are trampled the most were the only lover being of the entire imperial palace. Sometimes powers are curse, even standing from a far distant she could feel if the flora and fauna of a particular place have been taken care of or they grew well among themselves.
