Chapter 1: When The Songbird Sings
When the songbird sings in the morning shouts and curses follow
People angry with being woken up in the early in the morning
Day after day it becomes a ritual
Wake up to the bird
Curse at the bird
Complain as resentful people talk about how their morning was ruined.
No one stops to appreciate the effort it takes to carry on
No one appreciates the beautiful melody it sings so sweetly
A natural phenomenon so pure
So sweet
Such hatred
When the songbird sings no more we see what we miss
You wake up to an alarm of electronic noise
Your morning is no longer the same
The melody that you thought you hated has never sounded as beautiful as it does now
However, you see that hate had consumed you and all you wish is to hear
The sweet melody of the songbird once more
