Chapter 234: Things We Don't Know

[Adrian's POV]

"Why do we have to follow him?" Raymond asked.

"Because he's an even bigger idiot when he's drunk," Nick answered.

"Why? Does he get into a fight or something? Johan was a war-freak and sought trouble if he's had too much alcohol."

"No, nothing like that. But he might bump into something, trip on his feet, crack his skull, and we will receive the wrath of his mother when everything was this idiot's fault and stupidity."

"I can hear you—!" Adrian whirled around to glare at the two gossip mongers walking behind him, but the sudden action spun his vision, and the gravity pulled him to the asphalt road. "Fuck!"

Nick rushed to his side with a snigger. "See? I told you he's an idiot."

"Stop calling me an idiot!" Adrian half-yelled, half-slurred, but let Nick and Raymond slung his arms to their shoulder to get him back on his feet. "I am not."
