"Do you really have to do this?"

"Yes! Now, shut up before we wake everyone in the house," Johan said as he fastened the safety harness belt around his waist. The camo-patterned harness was an old and unused item he found in their storage room.

Russell rolled his eyes, coiling the climbing rope around his arm. "Why are you making things complicated? We could have just walked outside of the door like a normal person."

"And risk getting caught?"

"You'd likely get caught with your ridiculous plan because you looked like a fucking burglar right now."

"Burglars don't use tactical harness."

"Whatever. I'm not doing this." Russell returned the climbing rope to him and walked over to the edge of the bed with a disgruntled expression. "This is stupid. Why did I even agree to come with you?"
