Chapter 111: Deadly Vapor

[Johan's POV]

"I'm fine. Don't mind me. I'm not hurt. Just tend to your salty friend over there. I don't matter that much to you, anyway."

"Stop being difficult."

"I'm not being difficult."

"Alden."

"Hmmph!"

Frustration simmered Johan's patience to a thin line. Alden was a pain to deal with when he's channeling his anger through sulking and avoidance. Not that Johan was any different sometimes, but it still pissed him off when Alden slapped his hand, like a spoiled brat who would throw a tantrum if he didn't get what he wanted.

"Suit yourself," Johan said after he knocked the ice bag to a random corner, resulting for ice cubes to clatter on the floor. He walked out of the room before the situation escalated further and tried to calm his nerves in the kitchen.
