Chapter 45: Chapter 14

Henry ground his teeth and fisted both hands as he tried to distract himself with his surroundings as best as possible. The restaurant, which was on an open ground with the option of serving their guests on a fancy mat with perfectly lit entrée or a table set up in the middle of the fields, had a nice touch to things, but it didn't particularly make Henry feel as happy as he ought to be feeling. 

In fact, he was starting to hate his presence with and around the Douglas family. 

He had nothing against the duo, but with the fact that they reminded him of things he didn't want to think about; his son's failure, the possibility that he was a terrible parent and had not raised his child up in the proper manner and above all, how remarkable their son was. It also didn't help since Peter Douglas had ranted on and on and on about their son, Oliver. 

"Did you know he got promoted as the youngest ever… ", Oliver's father ranted on in joy.
