Chapter 1.
My name is Kang Garou. I am an adventurer. I like going to missions especially dungeon raid. Dungeon is where you can find treasures and artifacts from the past. But it is very dangerous to go alone, that is why we fight by teams.
My team compose of five members. One with a sword, a shield, a staff and a wand and a supporter. And I am a supporter.
I am short and an easy going guy because I am just a supporter to my team. I basically just carry the equipment of our team. I also pick up crystals and drop item of monsters that we slain.
When it comes to celebration, I rarely join my team because stories of their triumphant battles doesn't include me. I am just a pebble on a side of a road compared to them. And I really don't like our leader. He is so boastful and a bully. We always get into trouble because of him. But the team accept this fact because they can't fight monsters without our strongest member.
One day, we decided to accept a mission in a dungeon to explore a certain area. We accepted it because the dungeon is a rank C dungeon. It was easy at first, we fight the goblins and lesser wolf altogether. And we came across an ancient writing in a wall. Our mage can understand ancient writings and she read it to us.
"Whualala Jilaka Jian". It means, "He who seeks power shouldn't continue the path of righteousness. Death only awaits in your journey to be the best".
Huh? That three word means that two sentence? Hahahaha.
And the wall collapsed revealing a new passageway.
We first discussed it with the team. Three of us agreed to enter because of a reason that we are the first one that can find treasures and we can become rich. Me and the healer disagrees with them because of the danger that awaits in an unexplored dungeon. And I am really bothered by the phrase that our mage read.
Because it was a rank C dungeon. So our team convinced our healer to enter by playing a rock paper scissors. And we lost. So we did enter and fought the monsters along the way. Until we entered a room, more like a hall full of treasures. First look and we are all surprised by the amount of golds.
We stayed and explored the room. It was like a palace complete with amenities. We found books, bath, dining table and a bone of a dead man sitting in his throne chair. I felt an ominous feeling with the corpse and I was also drawn to for a certain reason that I don't know.
We all decided to discuss what we are agreed to take. The rule in adventuring a dungeon is that if everyone found treasures in a dungeon, half of it will belong to the kingdom of the guild that they belong. But in case of treasures that this much, we can take a bagfull of it that we can carry and it will belong to us individually without question. And the remaining treasures will then be split by half.
All of us begin our search for the best treasures that we can find. Our sword and shield guy chooses armor and weapons like swords and shields. Our Mage went to the library to choose books that she wants. Our healer chose to pick robes and staffs and some magic crystals. And I chose 2 books that I found beside the dead corpse. I understand the first book but the second is in ancient language. The first book is a diary of the dead man but the second is like a cook book. The letters are written in a list mode.
After a while, all five of us meet and we looked funny because of the overflowed treasures that we carry. We decided to go back to report our findings.
After that day. News spread to the entire kingdom about our achievement. But it is always not good for people to know your money especially for a weak supporter like me. When money lies with the weak, bad things will follow. 😁
