Chapter 41: 41. Let it out

The kid opened his mouth then closed again. 'Better he keep it close.' I thought.

"Who is he talking about?" This time it was Max to ask question. Stacy was looking back and forth between the kid and me.

"I don't know what you are doing Helene." Stacy said.

"Are you fine now?" The kid asked. Max was quiet for a while, he was just noticing what I was talking and how I sounded. He probably suspected I was lying to them. He definitely would, not just maybe. How can I tell now that I'm going to leave them soon. Ignoring to Max, I thought to first answer the kid. That would just decrease one person from the scene.

"I'm good now." I said in a plain manner. I didn't want him to like and take me as someone he can have.

After a couple of seconds when he didn't tell anything, I walked passed by him along with max and Stacy.

"Well, talk to you later." I waved a hand to him as a bye.

The next words of him then took the attention of all of us.
