Waking up from a relatively boring night, Magnar was surprised to discover some strange new additions to his body, in the form of a yellow crystal in his left hand's palm, and a black crystal in his right hand's palm.

This was incredibly confusing, but what was even more confusing was the screams coming from outside his window, and the creatures that stalked the streets.
