Chapter 2: The Claim

It had been two days since he arrived at the half-blood camp

After talking to Quiron and Lord D. Percy was sent to cabin eleven.

Percy was making a fool of himself with this demigod business, but if there was one thing that was different from last time, it was that he was being the best he could in the fights he had.

He had already humiliated Clarisse twice in training, and all this using only a Rank E sword that had turned into a ring.

But now it would be his day to fight Luke

"Well, Percy, I'd teach you a disarming technique, but you used one almost exactly like Clarisse, so let's go straight to a friendly fight," Luke muttered to Percy, who nodded and took a step back.

Pulling out his ring-shaped sword, Percy prepared himself.

Luke quickly swung his sword up and down trying to catch Percy off guard.

But Percy just moved out of the way and struck with his sword in a vertical motion, causing Luke to duck under the blow.

Taking advantage of the fact that he was on the ground, Luke attacked Percy, causing Percy, who wasn't expecting it, to overbalance.

Seeing that he was about to fall, Percy dropped his sword and summoned a dagger, using the dagger to stab the ground where Luke was a second ago.

"Where do you get so many weapons, Percy?" Luke asked as he pointed to the dagger.

Percy smiled in his mind, finally he would have the excuse he had been planning all along so that he could use freely the gate of Babylon.

"Before I came to camp, I took a trip to Babylon, there when I entered a temple I ended up meeting a blonde man who had tattoos, he said his name was Gilgamesh" Percy stopped for a moment to catch his breath

"Then he said he was waiting for a descendant of his to appear and he said that I had some of his blood and that it would do the trick, right after that he threw a ball of light at me, and said that all the treasures he gathered would be mine and that it was to be used wisely" Percy finished the story

"Gilgamesh in, I've seen a lot of talk about him, who would have thought that you would have a power like that in your hands without even knowing that he was a demigod in" Luke narrowed his eyes as he spoke

"the Gods don't like us getting involved with other mythologies" Luke stated while making a face

"Well, I don't know, I just know that he told me how to use the power and the name" Percy finished speaking looking innocent

Far away, Annabeth frowned.

Apart from the fact that the newcomer not only humiliated Clarisse but was now fighting on an equal footing with Luke, this power of his was strange

According to notes she read, and from what he said, he had gained the powers of Gilgamesh, a demigod who was known as the King of Heroes in Babylonian mythology.

By the fallacies it was certain that if he had gained the powers of Gilgamesh, he would have almost infinite weapons

Returning to the fight, Percy used the gate of Babylon to send several Rank E weapons to Luke, which for the first time Luke surprised Percy by placing a barrier around him protecting himself against the weapons.

"This is the trump card of all demigods, something you will learn in the future, it's called jujutsu, it's more popular in Japan but the gods sent Hecate to teach it to us" Luke said to Percy who now remembered Chaos' warning

"Well I know that, I just didn't expect to see it here, a friend of mine once gave me several lessons" Percy replied to Luke as he sent more weapons to him

"When I saw my friend defeating a curse, I asked him several questions, and he ended up teaching me jujutsu" Percy once again lied, while sending several weapons to Luke

"Well you seem to be more and more informed in" Luke grimaced at him being so well informed

"I lived in Japan for about 10 years" Percy lied for the third time, as he stopped the gun barrage and summoned one to his hand

"Well, I'll get this over with" Luke stated as he for the first time used a technique

By manipulating the energy around him, he formed several balls of energy that moved faster and faster.

"I wouldn't use this against a beginner, but since you know jujutsu has no problems, all of us, even the weakest ones, can use jujutsu, some even have domain expansions" Luke stated while shouting his attack

!Hermes Blast!

The balls soon came together and moved quickly towards Percy who soon manipulated his energy and showed a technique he learned from his counterpart

!Divine Fog!

A fog hid Percy from view, who soon teleported

He stood behind Luke and before he could do anything he put the sword on Luke's shoulder who surrendered, sending an admiring smile to Percy.

Luke's attack hit where Percy was destroying the floor a little.

Soon the clapping began as Chiron approached with Annabeth right behind him.

When Chiron was about to open his mouth to say something, he raised his frightened eyes towards the top of Percy's head.

Percy was also scared and saw the twinkling light of a sea green trident hovering above his head.

'Already? Percy thought in disbelief, but then he noticed that tomorrow was already the capture of the flags and the show he put on in defeating the greatest swordsman in three hundred years in the history of Camp Half-Blood should be reason enough to be claimed

Soon every camper will begin to kneel to an extremely confused Percy.

"Hail Perseus Jackson, son of the lord of the seas, bringer of storms, shaker of the earth, father of horses" Chiron stated as he made a small bow

Percy soon discovered that the whole camp was there after waving his hands everyone soon left the ground and started gossiping

The once clear sky was now getting darker and darker, reminding Percy of Zeus's master bolt.

Chiron soon passed Percy to cabin 3 and told him to come to him later.

Packing his things, Percy soon left cabin 3 and made his way to the big house, unlike before there was only Chiron and Grover

"Percy how are you"? Grover's question came out preconceived

"I'm fine Grover just a little scared" Percy gave Grover a somewhat reassuring smile

Sitting down next to Grover, Percy soon looked at Chiron who finally took his eyes off the ground.

"I think it's time for a lesson, don't you?" Chiron smiled at Percy as he thought about his mission and the explanation of magic he owed to Percy

" as you can see percy you have been claimed as the son of Poseidon, and I believe Grover has already explained to you about the consequences of that right? Chiron asked Percy as he leaned into the chair

"Yes, they had an oath to never have children again, but Zeus had broken the oath and his daughter Thalia died there to preserve her soul he turned her into a tree to be a protection for the camp" Percy finished his explanation looking at Grover who flinched when he heard Thalia's name

"Yes, now you have been claimed, but you have other purposes, Poseidon needs your help with something" Chiron said as it started to rain in the camp, with the half-bloods looking at the rain in disbelief.

"My help sir?" Percy acted like he didn't understand

"Yes, but first let me teach you something about jujutsu, tell me first what you know about jujutsu" Chiron asked Percy

"I know about curses, domain expansion, simple domain, reverse energy, and a few more things" Percy confirmed to Chiron who looked at him with wide eyes

"I heard you say that it was a friend who taught you that?" Chiron asked.

"Yes, before all this I wanted to be a jujutsu sorcerer, I even have a Domain expansion, I just didn't go because I left" Percy told one of his secrets

'Now I wasn't going to tell them that but Annabeth is already listening to this conversation, and facing an Ares who must definitely have a Domain expansion will be incredibly difficult without revealing my expansion' Percy thought

'So it's better to reveal that I know about jujutsu soon than for them to get suspicious later' Percy continues his thoughts

'Chaos warned me that mixing the jujutsu world with ours would simply make it harder for me, as fate didn't want to accept my end to the past without a challenge' Percy grimaced at that thought.

'Now not only wizards have expansion but monsters and Gods will get one too, it gets harder and harder' Percy scoffed at this thought

"Well that's great, you must be a genius since not even the two greatest wizards that ever existed in Japan managed to expand at such a young age" Chiron smiled at Percy gently

"The two greatest sorcerers?" Percy asked curiously

'He's saying that Satoro Gojo and Sukuna are really here' Percy thought with a frown

"Sukuna the King of curses and Satoro Gojo the strongest Human so far among all mythologies" Chiron released the news to Percy who opened his eyes even wider

"He could fight even some lesser gods and win the fight" Chiron finished his explanation

"And Sukuna is as strong as he is, if not even stronger, he can do the same, and they are both alive, Sukuna is trapped in a vessel called Yuji Itadori" Chiron said

'It's just like my counterpart,' Percy thought with relief that it wasn't so different from what he imagined.

"You should see them at the end of the year at least Satoro since every end of the year the strongest gods get together to discuss their mythologies" Chiron frowned remembering so many problems that this brought

"Are there many Greek gods at this meeting?" Percy asked curiously

"Yes, the Greek Gods are at the center of the strongest Mythology, Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Artemis, Apollo, Nix, and Hemera represent the Greek Pantheon, Hemera although not one of the strongest Primordials, by order of the creator herself always represents the primordials in these meetings, and Nix goes at the invitation of Hades, to represent the gods of the underworld with Hades" Chiron explained to Percy

"Each Pantheon can contain humans, demigods, or monsters, but there can only be three and there can be no more than that" Chiron explained some rules to Percy

" this time the Meeting will take place on Olympus, so Lord Zeus will be its Leader, in the last one it had been in Japan, Lady Amaterasu had been the leader of that meeting who in the end will decide to have a fight between Thor and Lord Zeus without powers or weapons and Lord Zeus won a little too easily" Chiron remembers that moment

the Greeks had taken me, Annabeth, and Zoe, a hunter of Artemis" Chiron continued, losing the tension and pain on Percy's face when he mentioned Zoe's name, Grover narrowed his eyes at his friend

"Now this year, if you manage to get a prophecy and finish the search, you should be invited since not only are you the son of Poseidon, but you already have an expansion of Domain, not to mention that your gate of Babylon has a power that only had in the Mythology of Babylon" Percy nodded at Chiron's words, knowing that Chiron must have heard him talking to Luke

'A lot of things have changed compared to my old world, especially this meeting' Percy thought, upset with so many changes

"Does anyone else have domain expansions in this camp?" Percy asked curiously

"Yes, Mr. D. He has his, Thalia already had a domain expansion, so much so that she managed to defeat several monsters in it, although it was not complete" Chiron stated to Percy

'Even Thalia already had expansion? Satoro and Sukuna have already been surpassed in genius by me and Thalia, Plus Luke and maybe even Annabeth must have also created a Domain Expansion' Percy thought to himself

"You and Thalia were the youngest people in history to create domain expansions" Chiron stated to Percy who lowered his eyes in shame

"Now Percy go to the oracle, if you're still sane we'll talk more" Percy shook his head at Chiron and got up heading towards the oracle
