Chapter 1: Chapter 1 : Two Princes Part 1
Firagica is renowned for its lively nightlife, particularly during its vampire and Halloween festivals. A vampire Halloween night is like Christmas for them, with the streets decorated with lighting that doesn't affect the vampires, who happily enjoy their time in the light. There are also stalls offering a variety of food, including pork, chicken, beef, and the famous bushmeat dish. A large carnival has been set up just 500m from the city, and the sky looks beautiful, with the stars twinkling as if they are trying to convey a message. The breeze flows smoothly, gently brushing everyone's clothes and hair and making them look attractive.
After months of tiring work, Rupert, Emma, and their newborn have come to the city. Rupert and Emma work for the Secret Police of the Vamps, a community of vampires that they protect from any risks from the outside world, especially from the Mags, their dire enemies who are magicians. This research has been ongoing for over 1000 years. In the past, some vamps began to interfere with the human world, sucking blood from live humans, which was forbidden. Instead, they were only allowed to suck the blood of the dead. However, a group of vampires killed about 500 people, and the Mags decided to finish them all off. But some of them survived and hid themselves from both worlds to come here.
Today is a celebration of the same day. Rupert and Emma are two agents of the Vamps. They have been gathering information about the outdoors for years and have finally decided to retire. Today, they seem to be happy, and they have decided to attend the carnival. Rupert is around 6 feet tall, has a long overcoat, a strong build, blue eyes, and a slightly longer neck than normal. Emma is shorter, but she has beautiful golden hair that reaches her knees and always carries books on her side. The carnival lights up the entire sky from a mile away.
As they exited the city, they could see the carnival in the distance, but they had to walk through a lush jungle with a stunning pond at its center. Upon reaching the pond, they paused and looked at each other, realizing that they were finally ready for something they had been noticing since leaving the town.
"Who is it?" asked Rupert with a very heavy voice.
"Oh so you noticed already, quite a great agent aren't you?" a man with a big nose, quite a heavy build, and big hat appeared in front of them and asked.
"I am asking one more time who are you and why are you following us?" Rupert asked in threatening tone.
"It doesn't matter even if I tell you are all going to die today." said the man.
"What do you mean we are all going to die?" asked Emma in a worried tone.
"I already told you, it doesn't matter-" as he said that, he went for his wand, in a flash he casts a spell " Paralyzum!!".
Rupert was so caught up in the words that he forgot to draw his wand out. The spell nearly paralyzed him, but it was stopped with another spell.
"Deflecto minis" Emma used the magic as she was floating in air with magic flowing through her body and pupils not visible. She was covered with red aura all around her. There was a book floating around her. The spell that was cast towards them was deflected towards the man but he was able to dodge it at last second but it hit his eye. Because of that his one eye stopped working.
" Oh I know you, you are Emma Ronald, one of the only three Grimore holders in the world. And arguably the strongest of them all. The one who betrayed our people and joined these low lives piece of shits. You could've been the strongest sorcerer but you let yourself down. But don't worry, I will let your life go to a waste after all you are going to die by the hands of the strongest sorcerer today. I am Albert Jones, the strongest sorcerer alive." Said Albert in a menace voice laughing with his one eye closed.
Emma comes down from air and is shocked by the reveal, she is so shocked that her hand can be seen trembling with fear. Rupert noticed this, made his move and cam in front of her. He hid her behind her when he heard.
"It's futile, I won't win against him, he is way stronger. I have had heard some stories about him being a genius. He was mastering the magical spells that even the teachers had difficulty doing. Because of this just at the age of 11 he was sent to Mags Secret Agency. He is known to have killed every opponent he's ever met. It is said the longest he has ever been a duel is a minute. His knowledge of Magic arts and cursed arts is second to none. I don't know-" Emma was saying all of that when Rupert stopped him.
"You are right, maybe you won't win against him alone, but the Emma I know will not ever give up without even trying the possibilities. And even the things go south, we can deal with him together." Rupert said that while taking his wand out and ready to cast his spell, also holding Emma with his one hand.
After hearing those words Emma begins to hold herself and looks at Rupert who is there for him even though he is a little bit scared. Rupert begins to transform, as his eyed become cold red, his veins pops out in every part of his body and finally he shows his teeth, which are so sharp that they could through even a stone.
"Ah that's it, I will tell you what even if you bastards don't deserve to live, you really have a cool transformation. And combine that with one of the Goddess of the Magic World. Man I am kind of shaking right now. WOOOHOOO that's it, that is what I was missing all these years. A really good opponent. The thrill of fighting the strongest is the best." As he finishes the sentence he begins to wave his wand for another attack.
