Chapter 212: Scared?  

"I know you don't believe in the old Gods," stated Zua'the, his face expressionless as he spoke to Ba'dqeel.

"And our mate firmly believes in hers," interjected He'dtaalh with a slight smile on his face.

"But all this seems a lot like fate," finished Zua'the.

Ba'dqeel looked at the two men standing across from him on the other side of his desk. He still had a lot of calls to make in order to get the gears in motion, and they were wasting his time.

"We are all strong, we all kill without problems, and none of us ever considered having a mate before," continued Zua'the. "The life we made ensured that when our mate called to us, we would be able to give her everything she needed."

"Once again, I hear a lot of words coming out of your mouth and not a single point," sneered Ba'dqeel as his tablet chimed again.
