Synopsis
Su Jiexin is a 25-year-old man with a heart brimming with compassion. His warm smile radiates kindness wherever he treads. A selfless individual, who put others before himself.
In stark contrast, there exists Wu Xiejun, who wears the title of a Taoist but has long abandoned the teachings of benevolence. A selfish individual who pursues only his own desires.
One night, an unexpected cosmic upheaval thrusts the world into chaos as malevolent souls of the forgotten seize control of human bodies, possessing and turning them into instruments of destruction.
Inexplicably, Su Jiexin becomes a vessel for a lowly spirit, gifting him the extraordinary ability to conjure shields of radiant light. With a heart as pure as snow, he cannot stand idle as innocent lives are torn asunder by these malevolent entities.

I wont lie, this is a true gem which shines over all the other cliché tropes out there. very enjoyable and awesome to read, it deserves a full 5/5 although it remains to be seen whether the author can maintain this standard or not
I have no reason to not give a good review to this story once more. When the author took it down, I was very surprised but since it's back, let me tell you, don't hesitate and dive into this book.Writing style, World setting, apocalyptic premise, everything is beautiful. Just like before, Su Jiexin(?) is kind as ever (still disgruntled about it tho). Minor changes here and there in the first few chapters are visible. as the story goes, more changes (for good) are visible. In conclusion, it's a great rework and I look forward for more!
Two different roles for two different people must be very exciting role to play. On the other side, we can say it could be a different stage of rebirth. the world line and plus it is so quiet exciting. Not to mention, the writing style, it is quite outstanding as it uses unique words. Loved you book. Keep it up.
Really nice story. I quite enjoyed the plot and how the author built the story up to the conflict. Am excited for the entrance of the second mc and how the author depicts him. Otherwise great job author. Looking forward to reading more.
I will do the honor to give your 10th review. I will say the same as I said before, your novel is a perfect paranormal novel fitted in a modern apocalyptic world! The start and the tense fight scenes were all amazing author! And our Su is really a kind soul. Great Novel Author!
Very nice cover, I also wish you luck on WPC! Your work already pulled me . Jiexin is interesting MC and the author is amazing at descriptions that grip you with suspense along the way as you journey with Jiexin!

This is the re-work of an ongoing masterpiece. The elements weren't quite there before, but now all the plotline were filled. I rate this 5 out of 5. Will wait for more chapters ahead [img=update]
well, I know the author but don't think I will be biased, because the story is really good, from storyline to the writing quality and character design. the first few chapters make the readers hooked and compelled to read more. so read this you won't regret it.

[Chapter 1] There's nothing much I gotta say about it, the first chapter wasn't that cachy but most reviews say it gets way better in the later chapters, at least it does bring the comedy. If I do read more maybe I'll change my review. I urge everyone to at least give this novel a try
Book is really good minus some desire to be more attached to the characters , however. The updated are once a week and it’s likely this book doesn’t get the love it needs right now. I suggest waiting until the author finds a good schedule.
The author is my cousin so I am a bit biased but hey the story is actually worth the rate because of how good it is. From writing style, storyline, characters and plot. The novel keeps you going. The first chaps was really good. Good enough for a new reader to be hooked as so much have happend already. Also, he spoil me about some plot twist and I found them soo good. The plot is massive than you think and about two mcs background will blow your mind. Add it to library and give it a try. You won't regret it!!!
