"Because the living is the only one I can live in…. The world you wish to create is not one which I choose to be a part of! I am not a monster" Damon said decisively as he stopped his advance and gazed at the being in the skies.

Lightning struck as rage seemed to be overwhelmed by rage. Bolts of lightning rained down but even then Damon remained unmoved as he gazed at the face in the clouds with complete confidence in his eyes. As long as things played out as planned he had nothing to fear!

"Do you think the living and the dead can ever live together in harmony? Do you know how long I have tried? They fear us so they can never let us live in peace! Since that is the case, I will annihilate them all!"  The voice boomed and Damon frowned in response.

"Hmph! I would like to see you try it! As long as I stand, you will not have your way!" Damon declared coldly as his voice resounded across the battlefield.
