In the land of Leegbe, a home filled with pleasure, peace and humanity where sunlight shines bright and with winter a cold breeze blew the ever green leaves as they danced to the music unknown.
Children running from one side to another, some running to embrace their mothers when thier opponents are trying to defeat them "oh coward" go and fight your peers, the mothers exclaimate as they boast out laughing aloud. Indeed it was a place to be.
All the young and handsome boys held their heads high whenever the beautiful maidens are on their way to fetch water as they sing all sorts of melody on their way to the stream, but there is none like lala.
A glamorous a simple girl who finds it hard to say hi to boy even though they try calling for her attention. Lala was so different that some wonder if she is a true human or from another planet. Lala was beautiful and everyone loved her.
The more she grew, the more beautiful she becomes but lala was so shy. Despite the fact that she was shy, she would try as much as she can to greet any one she sets her eyes on the way, or around her environment.
She was loved by everyone around and she loved everyone as well even though she was dying on the inside. She was pushed away with neglect, abuses, pains and false allegations at home. She suffered and passed through hell in the hands of her stepmom. Her dad Mr. Emi was so busy with his farm work, that he couldn't make out time to know her problem and amend the issues.
Lala mother died as soon as she gave birth to her and what a tragedy for the father, Mr Emi. Lala was nursed by her aunt Becky who lived in Gbegbe. Becky gave birth two days after lala was born and because of that Emi sent his little baby to his elder sister. Lala was been raised up with her cousin James like twins. Becky always made sure she took care of the two kids very well, it was not easy for her but she made it all throughout the rain.
Now lala and James became a year old and their birthday was a blast. Emi wept for joy because his baby lala is a year old and she has grown so beautiful and healthy like her late mom. He consoled himself because God knows the best.
