*P.O.V means Point Of View, and Menzoni is the main character of this story, her first name is "Mezu" (12 years old) and in the present time, she reveals her story and tells us about her past as the way she sees;

"Mother" and "Father"...
These two words, the two words that actually meant everything to me in the past, everything, the two words that had more meaning than anyone else thinks of it has to be, even more than its definition in the dictionary; It's the two persons who take care of their children... And, All I was enjoying the most... Is that I kept making fun of these idiots who wrote that definition, I really did enjoy teasing them the whole time,... We were such a happy family, living in "California"... Many years ago, I was too lucky, more than I thought!...
When I was around the two true mother and father that brought me to this life, they were my guide, I could never live without them...
Mum, the blonde woman who took care of me more than anyone else did, she was my source of all care and love, she taught me the true meaning of love, She gave me care more than I needed... And every time I was with her, I looked at the world as if I'm the luckiest girl in the world because she (I mean myself) had the best mother in the world... And dad, he was the father that every kid wished to have...
But he was better before he became the (Junior High School's) headmaster, 'cause he became so jealous and selfish now...
Every evening, back there, I and my parents used to go and visit somewhere in the city like the museum, the stores, and more. Everywhere we went together, they always bought for me candies, they knew that I like that stuff so much, they might know everything about me! Everything I hated and everything I loved so much! I was in heaven and I wasn't realizing that at all! I still remember well that day, when I was 6 years old, and when we went to grandpa's farm, it was my very first time to visit a farm! There were so many animals, silence and peace, a difference between here and there! There were cows, chickens, dogs, cats, etc... and more! I couldn't heonamed it "The animal land" where all the kinds of animals exist in one place! And when we, the three of us, we're discovering more that place, (Maybe I was the only one who was discovered, because they're my parents, they're older than me, they started their lives before I did and they're also farmers' children!)
We were just walking and looking around, that place is so quiet! Not like the city! I got too excited and I ran through the trees and grass, at the same time, dad put his hand on mum's shoulder, they looked at each other and smiled...
