Damian's coat fluttered in the wind as he peered at the target of his military operation.

At first, he was largely skeptical of following Hella's words to attack Central Darma. It was simply because he thought she had made an emotional decision.

It made little sense.

Central Darma was not only one of the most posh places in Ternet but also rather useless. A spot where the uber-rich dumped their money and hung out around when their children whinged about a vacation.

Well, okay, maybe it wasn't as bad as Damian made it sound, but it was still not a strategically sound decision.

He would still have been of that opinion.

Had he not seen what stood in front of him.

Enormous walls perfectly leveraged the broken buildings and the debris around them to form a perfect barricade, and beyond it, a settlement so rich and expansive it almost overshadowed even Tartarus City.

Which was quite literally a stronghold.
