Chapter 2: Rewards ?
A young boy with beautiful brown hair and sapphire blue eyes, was walking on the streets, wearing a mask just like everyone else around him. He looked no older then 12 years old. Beside him holding his hand was a young lady, who looked to be around 14 years old. She was his elder sister.
It has been 12 years since Noah was Reincarnated, into the world that created the DMMORPG Yggdrasil. He was born in 2114. Right now he was 12 years old. When he was Reincarnated, everything was hazy for him, as he just drank milk, shat and slept. At most, he occasionally awoke at night and cried for no apparent reason.
But soon, he stated gaining conciousness and started feeling everything around him. His blurry vision got cleared, and he was once again able to process everything around him. He was Reincarnated as the second child, and only son of a very influential person in this world. However, his parents didn't spend much time with him, and neither did he care, asking for their time. Both his parents were busy with their work, and although more rich and less work, they still thought of their work as more important then their child. It was in the genes of Japanese, Noah guessed as he was a Japanese person in his previous life too. But that world was not a dystopian world, so his impression of Japanese workholics was that they were people who loved their work.
Despite his parents not giving him time, he had many Servants that worked to all his needs. From his food to his school, everything was prepared for him. He desired anything and it'll be done for him.
It was a pretty lavish life but Noah would've felt lonely if he was alone to enjoy it, however..
He had an older sister. Yes he has an older sister and his sister was very lovely and sweet girl. Unlike his girlfriends in past who loved him and wanted to Monopolize him. His sister was different, she loved him dearly and cared for him, but she also wanted his happiness over everything. As for why Noah was so sure of it ? Becau his sister showed her love and care for him.
One day, Noah was unassumingly walking on the room, and the chandelier fell. However, his sister was beside him and she saved him taking the brunt on her back. Good thing that the chandelier was not too heavy and it only left behind a small scar, although it still hurted her.
Noah felt like his sister was his hero for a second, and he really started liking his sister from then onwards. It can be said that his sister prioritised his life over everything..
That meant, he wouldn't have to be scared and afraid of her Killing him, like his girlfriend's in the past life who killed him, without even Asking and confirming his crimes.
He was happy with this. Who won't love a sister, who loved him unconditionally and purely cared for his happiness ? He could ask nothing more from his sweet sister.
In this life, Noah was born with the same looks, but humans in this world were too busy in their world, so much so that they rarely appreciated the Beauty. All their focus was on how much wealth did someone have and wether their health condition was good or not. After all, you wouldn't want someone you like to have a cancer that they were hiding would you ? Even if you had a beautiful face, you are not worth anything if you can't do something productive.
Noah wasn't sure if he'll be able to work, because he was not someone who wanted to work. He had to dive into Yggdrasils world, create characters and become overpowered. Noah might get money from his parents but it was not unlimited and they'll ask questions regarding his purchase history, if he decided to splurge his parents money.
Right now, Noah was thinking about all this, while walking hands to hands with his older sister, who was smiling beneath her mask. Her name was Akane, and she was a lovely beautiful girl with long brown grayish hair and beautiful pink cherry lips, although covered by mask her beautiful skin was still visible through her cloths. Despite being 14, she already had a beautiful face and a body that can make even some adults jealous. Noah liked his sister, and he wanted to bring his sister with him to the new world. Even though, he knew that his sister might not agree, and might not even believe in him. When he tells her about his crazy reincarnation bullshit. However, he still wanted his sister to go with him to the new world. Where he can do whatever he wants. Far away from this polluted and caged world trapped in a dome of glass. A place where there's nature surrounding the cities. Mountains reaching peak and lush green forests with exotic monsters.
Noah had grand ambitions, his ambitions were beyond what momonga the main character of overlord had. But at the same time, he also wanted to enjoy his life. After all, who gets the chance to become a god, in a world filled with different kinds of fantasy creatures. Not to mention, his curiousity to explore the other continents, that they never get to In the orginal series.
"Noah, do you want to buy the cake form the Usual shop before we go back ?" Akane his sister, asked looking at him with a smile. Due to some coincidence or not his new name was also Noah.
" Yes." Noah nodded with shining eyes. Trying to sound as childish as possible. Akane smiled at Noah's eagerness and wanted to see his face in smile, but she knew it was impossible. Right now they were outside of the safe zone, where the population has to use the mask to survive the pollution. Their apartment was on the safe zone and if possible, Akane didn't wanted to take Noah outside the safe zone, even if they had the best masks available that reduces the pollution to 000.0001%. But Noah was persistent, he said he wanted to look around in the yellow zone.
After buying the cake that Noah wanted to eat, Akane and Noah went back to their apartment and their maids cleaned their bodies, before they entered their safe haven of home.
Both Noah and Akane rarely went out because outside was not safe. The city was not only polluted but crime rate was also at a starking high. Sometimes, Noah wondered just what did they have to do to get this bad. And the answer to that, he already knew but he can't help but ask. How can humans be this stupid ?
The world war 3 was the answer, due to small skirmishes, some small nations used their nuclear missiles and killed millions of people, by dropping Nuclear bombs. And so what ? A war broke out. After many people's death and nearly Killing 50% of humanities population the world leaders agreed to not use the nuclear weapon again. But now they had no ways to salvage their situation. The world was on the brink of death. But due to technologies advancement, they build domes that houses cities. Outside the dome was polluted world, where breathing without a mask will kill you in a few minutes. That's how bad the situation was. Even inside the dome, you need to wear mask outside, unless you are in a safe zone, where mostly rich and wealthy live. All the people in the city have air filters in their home. That provides them with clean air even without the uses of gas masks. But to go out they need to wear masks.
As the country and world's progressed after the nuclear war, mega conglomerates and bussiness all over the world started taking place of government. Due to constant riot and rebellion, over the nuclear warfare that happen a decade or two ago. Japan was same. It was also ruled by big mega conglomerates and bussiness..
Noah was really glad that the god, that he met in the void didn't Reincarnated him into some poor family. He can only imagine and shiver, at the thought of being born into a poor family and trying to fight and work for even a day more worth of oxygen.
After eating the pastry, Noah and Akane took a bath together.
Yes, they took it together. They were siblings, there was nothing to hide and they've been doing it since Noah was born. Tanya didn't have any problems with it, so why would he ?
When they were done with bath, they both took their respective classes. Sitting on the same room. Yes, schools and classes were online now. Although there were many schools, that you'll have to attend in person. For the rich, it was easy to just get education in home. So this schooling system was implemented for those who can pay.
In the huge screen was a Japanese teacher, that was teaching about the Japanese history.

Researcher's suggest that the Nuclear bomb was dropped there to reduce cultural significance Japan was having over the world. "
The History teacher was explaining about how one of the most impacted places and important places, hit by the nuclear bomb was Akihabara.
Noah wouldn't lie, but he felt same. Because he was also someone who appreciated and loved manga and anime very much and in the past Akihabara was heaven of otakus as he was one and a rich one that. He has visited Akihabara almost every month. Filling his cart full of doujins and mangas that he can grab. He can say that, he has contributed a lot to his original Japanese economy.
It's not that now they don't have anime and manga. In fact, there are way more anime manga and hentai. If you see, because of world's condition, most of the people try to find solace in anime managa and video games. Trying to escape from this cruel reality of a world. One of the reasons why DMMORPGs, such as Yggdrasil were so famous because in that fantasy world, you can forget every negative thing about the world and enjoy what the glorious different kinds of world and media has to offer.
Just as Noah was lost in his thoughts, his lovely sister, Akane was looking at him, ignoring her classes. Noah sighed, as he moved closer to her and laid his head on her lap. A beautiful smile instantly bloomed on Akane's face, as she started rubbing his hair and playing with it. Looking at Noah's serious expression as he listened to his lecture, Akane can't help but smile. She ignored her class entirely and not that she needed to listen to it, because she already knew about the subject that her teacher was teaching. Being a genius she was different from Noah. Who was normal boy in her eyes.
After their classes finished, they both went to eat their dinner that was awaiting for them. The maid placed different kinds of dishes for the siblings to eat. Noah and Akane ate peacefully, feeding each other occasionally and talking about random things. It was one of those time that they can just calm their hearts with the blessing of food.
After finishing their dinner. They both went to their room to sleep. And to no one's surprise, they slept in the same room, obviously. Despite having his own room, Akane insisted that Noah sleeps with her. Noah didn't rejected, because he also loved his sister very much. How can you reject a cute girls request when she asks you with puppy eyes ? You can't. Atleast he can't.
Talking about their day and about different things that they did today. They both feel asleep in each other's arm.

As the clock reached midnight, Noah suddenly heard a prompt in his head, that awoke him from his deep sleep.

Noah had his eyes widen, as he looked around the room trying to see if there was someone playing with him. But there was no one. Noah tried to get of the bed to check his pc and confirm if it's True ot not what he heard form the system. But he was getting hugged by his sister, while she was sleeping. He tried to push her but her strength was too much for his 12 years old body. Still.. after managing to do everything, he finally got out of her grip, replacing it with a pillow that, Akane hugged delightedly. Not realising if it was Noah or not.
After hearing voices in his head, Noah first sat on his computer screen that was in his room and turned it on. Then, he thought something in his head.
At first he thought of status but nothing happened. Then, he thought that the system mentioned rewards, so he thought about reward and a screen appeared in his brain with information.

The screen showed the same thing, that the voice said about rewards, but there were three text line that had questions in their rewards section. Meaning, either he wasn't able to have this reward right now, due to some limitations, or he would have to unveil it by meeting some unkown condition, that he was currently unaware of. But from his guts he could tell that the former was probably the correct assumption.
But first... He needed to check wether it's true or not. Did he got 500 billion yen as the system or whatever it was said. He needed to know.
Noah quickly opened his bank account in his pc and checked the balance and... He was shcoked.
No! Shock would be an understatement. There were multiple account's of his out of nowhere, as if it just came out of existence, just to prove him right.
And his money wasn't illegal, because he checked and all his money had legitimate reasonings to them.
Some had the reasonings such as Noah investing in some company and getting a huge amount of money back while some had other things similar to that.
Even Noah's parents didn't had this much money Even if they sell their whole conglomerate. But here he was, surpassing their riches just because he turned 12 years old.
Noah chuckled a little, at this small prospect of getting immense rewards in the future. And the reaction someone might have if they saw his account.
After checking the money and trying few things to make sure everything wasnt a lie, he looked at his second reward, that he was even more eager to check.
Early access to Yggdrasil.
Noah didn't knew how he could get early access to Yggdrasil. Does he have to do something like sign in to be a beta player ? Or will he get early access to Yggdrasil without doing anything ?
He was currently unaware of it, but he saw that there was a new mail in his account. and so he opened the PC. Only to found that he has been given the privilege to be one of the 1000 players to have early access to Yggdrasil.
Noah saw a game file attached to the mail and all he needed to do now is download the Game. Add it to his VR gear and play.
He was excited.
So without any other thoughts hindering him, Noah started downloading the game and old habits die hard went back to sleep in his sisters embrace. Not checking wether the download was completed or not.
