Chapter 7: (NOT A NEW CHAPTER) Bellerose Character Description - Written by Momonga (Its called... flavor text right?)

Origins:

A creation of Lord Momonga, one of the 41 supreme beings of Ainz Ooal Gown who was experimenting with the fusion of souls. Formerly named No.1,000,319 and the only successful result of the experiment. Lord Momonga wanted to create a being that took the best qualities of certain organisms and fused them together. A chimera-like entity made entirely of souls. She is the newest addition to the floor guardians and the youngest of the floor guardians. Her abilities are relatively unknown to the rest of the guardians as she was born not too long ago.

The first soul that was used to create No.1,000,319 was the soul of a young human duchess who originally had a pure heart with good intentions for all that served her. Eventually, even though her land prospered in the beginning due to her actions, greed consumed the nobles who followed her and also consumed the commonwealth, who ask for more and more until there was nothing left. The duchess felt sadness, despair, and confusion, which lead to anger and finally hatred. The duchess soon ordered the beheading of everyone who she thought was evil and greedy. Eventually she couldn't tell the innocent from the evil, greedy, despicable people she grew to despise. This gave her the moniker "Mad Duchess." Nobles and commonwealth banded together despite their differences and in the end, her head fell as well.

The second soul was a young village girl who had talent in summoning magic but never truly new the extent of her talent as she was constantly belittled by those around her, even her family members. However, she eventually stumbled upon a tome of forbidden summoning magic in a small dark cave. She was trying to run away from the people in the village who were trying to sell her off into slavery due to her village head not having the money to pay off their taxes due to a drought. When she summoned the magic from the tome, hundreds of wraiths and skeletons were summoned. She then exacted revenge by ordering all her summons to kill and dismember all her members of the village.

She also personally ordered them to bring the heads of her parents and other family members and put their heads on spikes. The girl also started to destroy neighboring villages out of hatred. Eventually, this caught the attention of the residing lord of the area, and he ordered a bounty on her head. Many knight battalions and dozens of adventurers teamed up and though it was a hard-fought battle, with many losses, they managed to kill all the summoned creatures. They surrounded the young girl and before they were able to do the finishing blow, she lit up a stick of dynamite, blowing herself up and the knights around her while destroying the cave.

Experiment process: No.1,000,319. (A/N first person perspective Lord Momonga)

Day 1:

I used magic to forcibly fuse the two souls together. The two orbs of blue and black fused together and started to float there. Eventually after hours of waiting I left as I have more things to attend to if nothing was to occur here anytime soon.

Day 18:

After weeks of waiting and observing, I finally noticed that the souls were transforming into something. It slowly turned into a humanoid shape and eventually a young child was formed. The young child had both the physical qualities of both women that was used to create her such as the green eyes of the duchess and the brown long hair of the village girl. I thought the experiment was a failure since it seemed as though a human was made from the fusion but upon closer inspection, the girl was not a human at all, her skin was slightly see through, indicated she was a phasmic (A/N not sure if this is a word but it sounds cool for describing a ghost like thing) entity of some kind. The girl was asleep and non-responsive, I started to try and wake her up using multiple methods such as infusing his MP into her or using certain spells that induce the target to wake up but to no avail. I shall play the waiting game and see what becomes of No.1,000,319.

Day: 398:

After nearly giving up on the idea of the girl even waking up, she finally opened her eyes. After a few minutes of looking around and observing herself, she started to grab her head and speak to herself. This grew to yelling and she then started to punch and grab at her own arms while screaming. It seemed that the two souls were aware of each other. I instantly thought this was a failure as I wanted a single harmonious soul with the talent and qualities of both. I thought of immediately destroying her. However, I decided to give No.1,000,319 a week to see if anything would change.

Day 405:

The final day has come. I went down into the cell that she was residing in and was about to destroy her until I realized something. Her appearance has completely changed. She had sharp eyes with long eyelashes and her hair was curly black which stopped at her shoulders. and there were black veins running throughout her semi-transparent body. her eyes were a dull, dark blue with seemingly no light coming out. I was excited with the possibility that something amazing has occurred within No.1,000,319. I decided to enter the cell and greet myself. The girl didn't respond and only said incoherent mumblings.

I thought she had gained limited mental capacities but upon further inspection, it seemed that she mental age has regressed to that of a newborn child. It was like she was born anew. Realizing this I immediately used magic to observe the state of her soul. He was amazed to see the soul being a completely different color than before. The color was a color that was completely unseen before in this world. It then confirmed to me that an entirely new entity was born from the two souls. Seeing this as a success, I thought of a name for No.1,000,319. Her name was now Bellerose.

Day: 1,640:

After years of learning from Yamaiko, her creation, Yuri Alpha and I, Bellerose was able to be fluent in speaking and reading. She also grew at a faster rate than normal. She went from a young little girl to the appearance that resembled a young teenager. From Yamaiko's description and several tests involving her, it seemed that she was good at learned at an above average rate, hinting at her having a higher intelligence than average but not at the level of the floor guardians that she has seen such as Demiurge. Throughout the years, it also seemed that Bellerose and Yuri Alpha have developed a close bond with one another, with Bellerose seeing Yuri Alpha as a big sister of sorts, often calling Yuri Alpha Onee-chan. She also grew attached to me, seeing me as a father-figure which was expected as I did create her.

Yamaiko also told me to be wary of certain aspects regarding her. Yamaiko brought other beings such as imps, sentient elementals, fairies, in order to socialize her and they all found out that she couldn't be touched as she was a ghost-like entity. They enveloped themselves in magic and tried to pat her head. Yamaiko said that they all stopped moving and started to shake until they either fell to the ground, dying or completely disintegrating in the fairies and elementals case. She also told me that she had sudden switches in behavior from being really shy to completely emotionless and devoid of remorse. Yamaiko said she realized this when Bellerose saw human players. started kill them by using illusion magic and slowly killing them with her summons while they were caught in the illusions. This told me this sudden switch in behavior occurs when her eyes start to glow. This told me that she still had a hatred of humans which was excellent. However, Yamaiko also requested to get Aureole Omega over to see Bellerose, and when she arrived, Bellerose surprisingly didn't react negatively towards her when she saw Omega. It seems she doesn't see entities that are human but do not possess human qualities as human.

Besides Yamaiko teaching her and telling me about her observations, I also brought her to meet my other creation, Pandora's actor in the treasury often. She enjoyed his company and found his behavior funny. Pandora's actor treats her like a little sister

Day: 2,100 (Last entry)

Yamaiko taught Bellerose everything she knows, however that shy personality still stayed with her even though at this point, she looked like a young adult. It's been 250 days since she's grew to this appearance, and it hasn't changed since. I suspect that her growth has stagnated permanently. I also discussed with all the guardians, and they all agreed that her position should be moved from an area guardian to a floor guardian of the 3rd floor, replacing Shalltear's position as the 3rd floor guardian. Peroroncino didn't mind as we were friends. All the supreme beings aided in transforming that 3rd floor to best suit her abilities which were used best in large group scenarios and large open areas. She was protected by thousands of high-level greater wraiths that varied from level 70 to 80 that could possess enemy players. They were able to transform depending on the eye of the beholder which aided in hiding themselves and were able to also possess players, making them fight against their teammates.

I also created a large 100 floor story building-like mansion with her at the top of it. the interior constantly changed except Bellerose's personal room at the very top so many players couldn't make consistent guides and strategies to clear it. It was famous around Yggdrasil, with the mansion being nicknamed the "Mansion of Nightmares".

Bellerose playstyle:

While groups of dozens of players tried to transverse the mansion in order to get a defeat Bellerose and get the key that resided in her room which lead to the lower 4th floor, Bellerose's job was to constantly phase through floors and walls while putting high level illusionary magic on them. The players either were caught in the illusion and started to kill each other, or they were caught in an illusion within their minds, stun locking them and dealing illusionary damage debuffs. Illusionary damage debuffs doesn't deal damage even though it's in the name. Instead, it lowers the maximum HP of the user and agility of the user. It can get to the point to where the agility stat and HP stat lowers to exactly 1, making them move like their moving in quicksand from the waist down and being able to be killed by just a simple poke of a finger. HP potions do not work against illusionary damage. She also is completely immune to physical damage and skills that deal physical damage so players who specialize in physical damage are at a huge disadvantage against Bellrose.

Weaknesses:

While her abilities are strong, its highest value is in grouped combat and if there's a magically specialized player who invested their stats in MP, they can negate and see through the illusions with relative ease. Dispelling magic can also work against Bellerose to remove illusions and cleanse illusionary damage debuffs. but only higher tiered dispels. Lower tier dispelling magic only works for a couple of seconds before reverting back to the original illusion that she casted. Another weakness is that she has very low hp in comparison to other floor guardians, making her extremely squishy. Even some of the pleiades maids has more HP than her. Magic spells can do a lot of damage to her although it is somewhat circumvented by her high magic defense. However, it doesn't remove her naturally low HP. While she is good in 1v1 situations, she's only good against physical damage dealers who did not invest much into magic spells and MP. Against magic spell casters such as Mare Bello Fiore who have lots of MP, they can see through her illusions which is her main form of combat as her summoning spells are mostly surveillance type summons. The damage dealing summons that she does have a very weak.

(A/N I wanted to put this in the Auxiliary chapters but.... I accidentally put it in the normal chapter section. I do not know how to change it so.... sorry for the trouble ;~:)
