Chapter 3: Trying To Level Up

Sudden lights appear in one corridor of the Colosseum on the 6th floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Those lights quickly transform into a figure, Arata and Albedo have arrived.

Still hugged by her Arata tries to push Albedo away, he doesn't want to have a bad image in the eyes of a person he would meet, especially children.

He knows that time would come when he and Albedo would have a romantic relationship, he treats it as inevitable. Just by looking at Albedo, anyone will know how much she loves him and him even though knowing it just a by-product of a program feel thankful about it.

He knows if things go on he would eventually love Albedo too, it a simple fact that he gladly accepts. The feeling of being loved by someone, he already forgets about it, but Albedo might just already bring that feeling back.

"Albedo we already arrive"

Hearing that Albedo slowly unhug him, he pats Albedo's head feeling her soft and smooth hair. He also didn't forget to stroke her horn, he didn't know why to do it but after seeing Albedo's blissful reaction he glads he did it.

But as expected of Albedo she knows what he wants just by little sentence. Yet he again it reminds him of his position right now, he doubts himself, can someone like him leads and rule this genius person. He might not find the answer, yet.

After all of that, he walks to the center of the Colosseum, the hall is very dark with only a little light coming from torches from the distance, yet he can see just as normally as daylight, is this also his race ability, maybe yes.

Arriving at the center of the Colosseum he looks at his surroundings to see how big its, the answer is very… very big. His old home looks tiny in comparison. When he met his eyes with a Dark Elves child sitting on the biggest platform of the Colosseum.

Seeing him the Dark Elves child jump from her sitting place to the ground resulting in a cloud of dust and a loud boom sound. When the cloud of dust vanishes he can see her striking some kind of pose.

She runs to where he is, resulting in another could of dust following her trail, she barely stops right in front of him. With a smile and one hand on her chest, she says.

"Welcome, Arata-sama"

"Um, Aura that's some spectacles you create there, more importantly, where is Mare"

"Mare is it? He reading a book in the room, should I call him Arata-sama"

To her answer, he nod his head

"Maaaare! Arata-sama is visiting, come down, will you!"

Aura shouts her lungs out, so loud that his ears might break, in fact, he takes damage from that shouting. He can see in his stats that the current health point is 9 which means he takes one damage from that shouting alone. He wonders if she uses some sort of skill on that shout.

"Wa- wait for me Onee-chan"

It seems that Albedo notices something about him even though he tries to hide it.

"Aura control your volume it makes Arata-sama uncomfortable!"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but Albedo if I don't shout mare will not hear me"

"Don't apologize to me, apologies t-"

"It's okay Albedo, its worth it seeing Aura being so happy and carefree"

When Albedo tried to scold her he glosses it over, it such a refreshing sight for him to see children enjoy their childhood on, as everyone should be. And he not that merciless to make a child apologize for such a trivial thing.

"Ehehe! after all, Arata-sama visit us, that's alone is a reward for me"

"Tha- that's right, just Arata-sama visiting us could make us happy for the of our li- life!"

The who spoke is a boy who fixes his skirt while running and carrying a staff at the same time. That statement that Aura and Mare say seems to be agreed by Albedo too, who softly nodding her head.

Aura and Mare are the twin Guardians of the 6th floor of the Great Tomb Of Nazarick. They are Dark Elves who wear cross-dressing clothes, boy clothes for a girl, and vice versa. Aura is the oldest who also a female and Mare is the youngest who is a boy.

When Mare arrives in front of him, he pats both Aura's and Mare's head, It seems they also enjoy it when the expression he gets is not intense as Albedo however he is thankful about it. If they show a reaction as intense as Albedo it will be very bad, he doesn't want to be in jail.

Now come the important and the hard part, he will try to confess his situation, he hopes it will turn just ok. After all, he can't predict what his fanatics' subordinates would do when they hear about his situations.

"Aura, Mare, Albedo I will tell all of you something important so listen carefully"

They all listen to what will he speak, including himself.

"I reset my level to 1"

All shock hearing him with Mare on the verge of passing out.

"Then Arata-sama we must tighten Nazarick defense and help Arata-sama level up at the same time. For Nazarick defense I suggest we should consult with Demiurge, for Arata-sama personal defense I will volunteer myself"

"I don't know what to do but I also will protect Arata-sama"

It turns out to be not ok from him. They all just went straight up panic in particular Mare, after dropping a bomb now he will try to defuse it.

"Calm down Albedo, Aura, and Mare, your concerns make me happy but the reason I ask you is because I need the fastest way to level up"

He taps Mare's shoulder waking him up, now the situation is more or less calmed down. He tells them his situation because it's important to his safest and fastest way to level up, which is by the last hitting.

Now on his side is a tank which is Albedo, a ranger which is Aura, and a mage which is Mare. It's basic team compositions and it's perfect for his early level up.

"I want all of you to assist me to level up in this Colosseum, that's why I bought this staff with me"

He shows the Guild Weapon he holds, this weapon is not an ordinary weapon it's basically an lv 100 mage. It can cast magic with an amount greater than a player can cast not only that, its main features are what makes it different than a normal weapon, it can function automatically.

This staff has an A.I programmed to it, which cost as much a resource to build a middle-sized guild. Because it can function automatically it's basically a clone of the user which is Momonga.

Like Momonga this staff has an array of spell it can cast from summoning to detection magic, its a staff with a spell all-you-can-eat buffet.

"Is that the legendary Guild Weapon Arata-sama"

"Yea its"

"How beautiful"

"It it is also a strong staff Onee-chan"

"Um, that's right. And with this weapon, you shall assist me to level up"

When he says that everyone instantly understands what he is trying to do. Aura summons his bow and Albedo summons his halberd.

A time passes and the preparation is complete, now there is two dummy that he will use to summons his first preys. He raises his staff and says.

"Summon! Primal Fire Elemental!"

A spark comes from the dummies which instantly becomes a huge flame-shaped Elemental. Instantly Albedo comes in front of him protecting him from small fire debris and all the dust.

Without delay Mare buff Aura with strengthing magic, he tries to open fire at the with water magic. Aura on the other hand attacking the enemy with a bombardment of arrows. For Albedo her priority is to protect him and make sure he deals the finishing blow.

Not even a minute passes when the Elemental looks to be very weak, it can't attack because of the weakening arrows from Aura and Mare MP debuffs which cause the Elemental to be not regenerate his mana back.

When it came to the finishing blow he didn't hold back, with everything he got he cast 7th tier water magic at the Elemental ending its short life with one last blow.

He checks his status up, it seems his exp barely got up, it only says 2% which is very little whatever way he sees it. Even if he got 10x needed exp to level up surely it didn't as bad as this.

In what game a level 1 player killing a level 75 monster didn't level up at all. Is there something special with him that makes it so hard to level up?

"How the result Arata-sama"

On the question, Albedo asks he only can shake his head up.

"In the first place what have causes Arata-sama level to reset?"

It no wonders that Aura asks such a simple question to him. Everyone also seems to agree with Aura's question.

"I change my race to World Class Enemy"

Suprise come from Albedo face meanwhile Aura and Marr just tilt their head at the statement. It's no wonder that they don't know about it.

"It's a entity which even the Supreme Beings will have a hard time fighting it"

"Even a Supreme Being!"

"S- so so Arata-sama become that Existence, co co congratulations"

Everyone is surprised at Mare's remarks, but they welcome it anyway, especially Aura and Mare.

"To think Arata-sama could become such being, as expected from a Supreme Being that leads other Supreme Beings"

"Congratulations! Arata-sama"

"Um, thanks everyone"

It's certainly nice to be a compliment, but Albedo's expectation seems a little too high for him. It's nice in the short term but hurt in the long term.

"Maybe that's for today, Aura, Mare. Tomorrow we will do it again"

He wants to end it for today and go to the next level-up spot, a place where there is a lot of pop monsters, where he will cast big magic that will end all in one swipe.

A pop monster is a term about an automatic monster spawn, though the monster mostly consists of low to mid-level, but they usually spawn in large numbers which makes it valuable level up a spot for a new player, at least that what he remember from Momonga memory.

He pats Aura's and Mare's heads and heads back to the corridor he used for entering the Colosseum. He wants to go to the pop monster are but he thinks he might found a jackpot.

The next location he goes to is the Treasury Room where Pandora's Actors stay. His objective is to look for a certain item, World-Class Item to be specific.

He unintentionally hugs Albedo which surprises her but in the end, she accepts it and also returns it with hugs. The two of them vanish from the spot.
