Write a reviewI honestly think this has potential to be good. The only thing holding the story back is the MC being more unlikeable than Bakugo. (I stopped at chapter 14 so take this with a grain of salt) The MC is insistent at not changing the storyline too much that he'd let Bakugo torment him during middle school, which is funny because he took Kai Chisaki's quirk and killed him, changing the canon story in the future. He's apathetic, narcissistic and dismissive towards his classmates just because he's mentally older. He tries to pat himself in the back by saying he'd give Izuku a push but all he really does is insult him in his head lol.
Very interesting literally nothing else to say mc sounds like an antihero at times and everything is quite good so a solid 5 for now. I feel the route with the quirk is a bit cliche but that might just be me and i'm dumb so yeah
I’m at chapter 12 and the mc’s problems are all in his head, plus he is just very cringe. And he’s kinda mysterious, but not in a “hot new guy vibe”. But in a “akward self centered weirdo narcissist vibe”. Give it a shot, but its just too cringe for me.
All around excellent. We have an interesting and clever MC that utilizes his powers in a creative manner not seeing in cannon. The MC is not a pushover goody two shoes but also not a total psychopath. The author has solid grammar and is capable of writing believable dialogue. This story is worth following and will 100% head towards the top of the ratings if author keeps a consistent release schedule. Strong reccomend, has plenty of potential but is already enjoyable 8.9/10.
Stopped at chapter 13 bcz that was my limit but these are the pros and cons imo: 1. The writing quality overall is near perfect there are some grammar mistakes, typos but nothing that ruins the sentence. The only problem for me is that the chapters are too wordy/filled with things can be skipped or summarized. 2. The chapters are long which is good 3. Some chapters were edited/updated so some things ended up getting mixed like him remembering his name and the whole they are/aren't my family and I'm not their actual child thing. 4. The biggest turn off is the mc himself bcz he is a mix of a hypocrite, narcissist, and he's dismissive of his classmates while trying to act all mature even though his emotions got the better of him a few times. The whole issue stems from the mc himself especially bcz of the whole "I'm mentally in my 30s so that's why I'll act edgy and avoid interacting with these 14 yr olds but I'll be good friends with these 17-18 yr olds just bcz they are my age before reincarnating..." like is that 4 yr difference really necessary? if you've read "mha ope ope no mi" then this mc (of overhauled) is like a watered down version of that mc (ope ope no mi). 5. The mc likes to mentally (in his thoughts) bash izuku just bcz he didn't go to a gym to train physically (as if that's going to make a difference) and puts mirio on a pedestal. Like i know izuku isn't that good of a protagonist but people forget he was 4 when his dreams got crushed (quirkless) and the bullying started so u can't expect him to suddenly be like "It's not the time to cry i should prepare to go to the gym after 5-6 yrs and also sign up in a dojo..." that only happens with isekai Mc's. Mirio on the other hand while he was slightly bullied or laughed at bcz he can't use his quirk well, at least he had 1 compared to izuku. 6. 13 chapters and soo far it's just an SI mc since not much changed from the story which makes it boring. Overall this ff is a hit or miss depending if u can tolerate the mc until his character development kicks in which is probably in chapter 20+
ok . I didn't get past first chapter. it was a test for patience and mental endurance by author himself. pls don't read this novel ..!
Nick really doesn't come off as a person who is involved in the world, so the ending doesn't stick for me. He already thought himself as an outsider, and then his quirk made him truly an outsider
Mc has Mental issues. And he think his is right and he is the best. his mental age is about 32 but still sometimes acts like a teenager but also thinks he is mature. And for writing, the author wants to "character development " but it makes it worse for me.

One of the best MHA fanfics that I have read, definitely on my top 10. I have had read this fanfic from chapter 1 to chapter 60 on one day, and I liked the development. Many may have hated the MC, but I like his growth from the start to chapter 60, may not have been the best kind of growth but he's still on the rise up.
Honestly I loved this at the beginning, at like chapter 50 I would have probably given this 5 stars but I just think it dropped off. Nick getting more and more unhinged was rpobably planned but it just didn’t feel good. I’m gonna stick through to the end but I can’t really say I like this much anymore
Great story! Big fan of the writing style, which is much more thought out than your average web novel. Honestly a really interesting storyline which introduces a novel concept and integrates the character to the universe in a coherent way. Very high word count per chapter which makes for a long read despite only having 26 chapters (as of writing this review).
(Ch20) The story is pretty good in all aspects not a lot to criticize as it’s quite solid. The only issue I can think of is the fights are a little hard to follow but that’s it.
Author EpicBean
I see the potential but the writing is too convoluted. The dad spent like three paragraphs convincing the mom to let him cut the vegetables. If it’s not important to the story it’s simply unnecessary to spend so much time on something like this. It’s the same reason you cut down on unnecessary dialogue. There’s being descriptive and there’s being convoluted, and unfortunately this is the latter.
