Chapter 1: P1 Just The Beginning

probably let me go," Mia said. "I mean we knew each other since we were three." "Alright let me get out of bed I will call you when I get downstairs." Mia hopped out of bed with a smile on her face as she headed to the bathroom to go pee, as she began to sit on the toilet she suddenly started realized what she did last week is coming back to her.one week ago: Mia was at a back to school bonfire party and all she could hear was loud music and all you see were people talking and drinking lots of booze. As Mia was tripping over people trying to keep herself from falling down for the thousandth time, she stumbled to her car door to get inside, starts her car, and drives away from the party to the main road. In her head, she was thinking that she had this under control and if she just kept her eyes on the road she would be fine A few miles into driving she started to fall asleep and Suddenly, she heared a big thud and the car shook, she pressed on the brake immediately, and got out the car to discover a man in all black laying flat out on the ground. Mia started to cry wondering what the hell she was thinking when she decided to drive she car drunk. when she was just about to call the police she started thinking about how much trouble she would get in So, she turned off her phone, threw it in the car, and made sure no one was looking, grabbed the mans arms and proceeded to drag the man onto the side of the road far into the woods as possible, and drove home. She was startled out of her daydream as the sound of the smoke alarm startled her. She hopped off the toilet, flushed it and ran downstairs as fast as she could. When she reached the bottom of the stairs all you seen was smoke and her mom fanning the smoke alarm. Her Mom looked at Mia with a grin on her face and said,, "maybe we should order from waffle house." "I'm on it mom." Mia rushed back upstairs not thinking Even about the food. She got out of her sleeping clothes, and she ran the hot water in the shower, and quickly got in. with the steam fogging up the bathroom she barely knew where anything was. As she was gliding her hand around the bathroom sink she dropped the toothpaste. She quickly stepped out to get it but notice a family moving in through the slightly fogged-up windows. She wiped fog from the window and saw this cute boy with dark brown hair, and his mother moving things into the house together. She got back in the shower smiling over the cute boy that was going to be moving right next to her. Ten minutes later she opened up the bathroom as the fog from the hot water came rushing out. She immediately checked her phone and seen three miss calls from Carla, so she tried to call her back before getting dressed, but she didn't answer, so she got ready and headed outside to greet herself to the new neighbors. Mia went for a laid back sassy look she had on her pink blouse, and her gray pants folded at the bottom, and her light gray painted shoes she made in art class for her final.with her hair in two braids to the back. As soon as she got to the door the doorbell rang and scared Mia. She opened the door slowly and there he was, standing right in front of her, Mia just stood at the door in total awe staring at his 6 foot body and his nice smile, they locked eyes for a good 5 seconds before Jerry said "hello my name is Jerry me and my mom are moving in next to you and I thought it would be a good idea for me to introduce myself." As Mia is just standing, there shocked by how cute he is in person. finally, she snapped out from her daydream and finally said something."hello my name is Mia I go to mystic falls high. Will you be there after summer." "yes, I will. Do you want to come and meet my mom Mia she is very nice." "Yeah sure why not." As they were walking down the short road to Jerry's house Mia blurted out, and saaid, "so what brings you here." "Well just trying to leave the past behind us." As they reached his driveway she saw that his mother was wearing black pants, and a White dirty shirt with all types of stuff on it from moving boxes. as Jerry and mia walked up to his driveway jerry's mom waved and said, "well it's nice to meet you, looking all cute where are you headed." "Well I'm going to the mystic grill to meet up with some of my friends. Do you want to come, Jerry?" Mia tries to say without sounding nervous. "Yeah let me go grab my things." Jerry rushed into the house leaving Mia out there with his mother. An Awkward moment came between them for four seconds before Jerry rushed out the house with dark blue loose jeans, acwhite t-shirt and a black leather jacket around his arm. "OK I'm ready" Jerry saaid as they got in Mia's little silver jeep and drove away they seen Jerry's mom waving at them. As they were driving down to the mystic grill Mia stopped at a red light and said, "so is your mom married." Jerry comes out bluntly, and says, "no she had a boyfriend which is my dad,we were supposed to be meeting a week ago, but he never came, so, it's just me and my mom, again." as the light turned green she turned the corner and parked on the side of the mystic grill and got out where Jerry was soon to meet Carla, Jeremy,and Enzo. As they walked in Mia, spotted Carla looking at her with a huge smile on her face from the pool tables. Soon enough they werall getting to know each other while playing and having fun. while Enzo, Jeremy and Jerry stayed at the pool table playing, Carla and Mia headed to the restroom to talk about the new guy she brought with him. "Who the hell is that, he is cute" Carla says with excitement. "He is the guy that moved in right next to me, and he's going to mystic falls high when school starts again." "Well are y'all going out." "no but I want to get to know him a lot." As they headed out, the boys were sitting down ready to go. After everyone said goodbye Jerry and Mia got in the car and drove home. When Mia pulled up to Jerry's house it was about 7:00 pm he hopped out of Mia's car and said, "goodnight see you tomorrow...hopefully." Mia waved and said, "bye." she drove up to her house and went to her room. She got undressed and went to bed smiling not thinking about the past, but the future.
