"Form a seal? … What do you mean?" 

Rizz broke out of his not-so-humble prayer with a startled stare. "You don't know what a seal is?" 

Sabina trembled but nodded. "I know what a seal is! … But I thought they only had to do with enslaving people and beasts."

"I guess that's the common theme nowadays." 

Scratching the back of his head, Rizz brought his feet together in a butterfly stretch. He held his ankles while steadily leaning forward and back, bobbing back and forth in thought. 

"There are tons of seals and curses people can use. But given the lack of rare resources, let alone the even better shit, I can guess how the representation of seals and curses deteriorated."

Sabina's early enthusiasm was stifled. "Then… I won't be a slave–"

"Fuck no! My apprentice will never be a slave!" Rizz pounced toward the fire ring, landing on his feet.
