Chapter 187: The Way Out (Pt. I)

--

On the other side of the battlefield, stood a light-blue-haired male, none other than Isseiris himself. The boy stood valiantly against a syinklet who was the biggest of them all.

Sure, fighting just one big syinklet was better than fighting a bunch of little ones at the same time. However, this one knew how to fight. It was like fighting a giant golem on your own instead of a bunch of bushy terrarionts.

A solid water sword-like weapon was in Isseiris' hands, acting as his protection against the giant-sized syinklet that kept its eyes fixated on the boy. The syinklet unsuspectingly spat on the blue-eyed boy, taking him off guard by the sticky substance.

The syinklet knew what's up with Isseiris' slightly troubled expression, so it took its chance to spit more, aiming at the boy's feet. Successfully trapping both of Isseiris' feet, the giant creature was about to launch itself at the boy when suddenly it was spiked from bellow.
