Okay so you guys remember chapter 14? ~or was it 13?~ and Soren had killed two people with dragons and she absorbed their powers? ~Why am I asking y'all like y'all actually read this?~. You're all probably wondering, 'oH wHeRe dID tHeIr pOweRs gO?' well I either A. Completely discarded them and will forget that they ever got them for the rest of my life, B. Let her keep the powers but she'll unlock them later on, or C. I abandoned those abilities and gave her abilities that actually fit her."
"Choose your answer now!"
"Okay time's up! The answer was {insert drumroll here} C!!! She will get different powers that I'll try to save till next chapter ~It'll probably take me 5 years to upload this one~"

I continued reading the book while Soren started picking up something. I was too focused on the book to pay attention the sounds of rustling metal behind me. I heard loud, metal footsteps leave the house. Soren had left the house without telling me and must've been on her way to fight Kohitsuji herself. She was running full speed to Kohitsuji's house which by the way looks more like a castle now, I suppose Ekibyō gave it some type of do over after Shi wrecked the place.
"I--Have to do this! I have to--fight for them! I can't allow myself to stand there and watch them fight for me anymore! I'm--I'm the--I'm the reason why Tranque's brother died! I should've done something!" Soren thought to herself, wiping her tears
She ran out of the forest and saw that Ekibyō was walking away from the area. She sprinted at him and when she saw him slow down she stamped her feet into the ground, causing her to slide towards him. He drew out his "hand sword" and swung at her. She bent back as if she were doing limbo and dodged the attack.
"She predicted it!?" Ekibyō thought, looked at Soren with fear in his eyes
"りゅう羽! (Ryū hane!) Ryu feathers" Soren shouted as she swung her spear across the ground, sending out a powerful blade beam and hitting Ekibyō across the chest.
~Ryu means dragon~
Ekibyō was getting pushed back by the attack. Instead of stamping his feet into the ground he instead began focusing his energy into the bottom of his feet. He lightly pressed his feet onto the ground and he began slowing down. But he then realised he was being pushed right into his house.
"Stop!" Ekibyō thought
"Stop!" He thought again, louder this time
"Stop!!" He yelled in his head as he brought himself to a stop.
Even though he avoided crashing into the house the force he used to stop himself turned into a powerful shockwave and damaged the wall behind him.
"Impossible! I focused 99% of my energy into my feet! I spread the last 1% across my chest so I could better tank the attack! The power of her attack must've triggered some type of instinct of mine so I channelled more energy into my back!" Ekibyō thought
"剃る! (Soru!) Shave" Soren shouted as she pointed her spear directly at the blade beam and compresded it into a cresent beam attack.
Ekibyō concentrated black energy around his hands. He then shot blast of black magic at the attack and as soon as he did Soren shouted, "バースト! (Bāsuto!) Burst" causing the beam to explode right in Ekibyō's face, mixing the energy he shot out and the energy that made up the attack as it destroys a large chunk of his home.
"How is the possible!?" He thought
He rushed at her and tried to punch her in the face. She dodged and swung at him, he jolted away, looking appalled. He stuck out his left hand at shot a blast of black energy at Soren. She deflected it away from her and she rushed at him. The attack he just sent at her stopped and turned into a long pike, extending towards her at high speeds. She faked and attack to make Ekibyō raise up his arms and quickly teleported away, causing his own attack to ram him through.
"This is the most bizarre thing I've ever seen or felt in my entire lifetime!" Ekibyō thought
Soren sliced up Ekibyō with her spear before grabbing his face, spinning around and hitting the back of his head with the end of her spear. She let his face go and he fell to the ground. She kicked him in his neck sending him flying the other way.
"The source of her power...." Ekibyō thought as he crashed into ground
He lifted up his right hand and shot out black spikes. She rushed at them, splitting them in half, ramming her spear through them, blocking them, even deflecting them with her bare hand.
"This power isn't from training" Ekibyō thought
Soren appeared right in front of him and she swung her spear downwards. He dodged it, but he was frozen once he saw the aftermath of her attack, a thick, deep, line straight across the ground.
"It isn't from some sort of relic either" He thought
She tried to kick him but he scurried away quickly enough to dodge it. She kept trying to attack him over and over. She jumped up into the air and rushed down, ready to cut Ekibyō in half. He jumped at her and summoned his sword but from the opposite hand, He tried to strike Soren but she spun around, punching Ekibyō in the neck before murmuring, "Doragon no Ro" and sending out a blast of fire.
"But the desire to avenge those she held dear, to fight for the person she entrusted her own life to" Ekibyō thought
"You know, you're acting out of character, Ekibyō" Soren stated
He was shocked by the news . He knew it was true, He had been acted much moee rash, and it was all out of FEAR, the fear of death, but more so the fear of dying by miscalculations. He trudged toward Soren, he began picking uo speed, his trudging turned into walking, that turned into a sprint until it finally had gotten to the point where he couldn't hold it and he leaped at Soren and she did the same. Ekibyō drew out his sword and Soren swung her spear, causing a powerful clash between the two. She pushed off of him and they started sorinting around the place. Clashing every now and then, until when Ekibyō tried punching her with both hands, she blocked it by spreading her arms, leaving her vulnerable.
Ekibyō darted back before rushing back at her. His hands where wide open with his arms back as if he were about to do some type of push up. He then pushed his hands forward with his thumb and his pointer finger creating a circle aimed right at Soren's stomach. She didn't know what he was about to do but she tried to stop it.
"粉砕嵐! (Funsai Arashi!) Crushing Storm" Ekibyō shouted
Soren felt strong gust of wind hit her everywhere 100s seemingly 1,000s of times. Her body was frozen, she tried to move but she couldn't. Blood starting dripping from her mouth. She waa in excruciating pain as she looked at Ekibyō sorrowfully. He widened his eyes, then suddenly, Soren felt an immense pain form in her stomach. She coughed up a lot of blood and slowly back away. She felt dizzy as her ears rang. She was about to fall onto the ground as she remembered.....My face as I saw Zywah die, His last words before he fell dead on the ground. With what little strength she had left she regained balance and stamped her feet onto the ground. Blue fire began circling around her, she looked right at Ekibyō with both anger and hope in her eyes. They both knew the battle was nearing its end.
