Primis: Oh…

He replied while raising one of his brows.

Makoto: When Lord appeared in sky after the destruction of those two fleets, not only us but everyone in Inazuma somehow saw you. And that time one of the people who left Narukami Island recognized you.

Ei: Next, they saw both me and Makoto flying towards you. Noticing that there didn;t seem any enmity between us, they calmed down. But the sharp one noticed how close we appeared and concluded that we are connected somehow.

Makoto: Still, the fear of "The Crimson Moon" didn't dissipate. This was also one of the reasons why the resistance organization decided to surrendered instead of fighting to their bitter end.

Ei: Um. Even if they were fighting against me, to them it was for the people of Inazuma... In the end, they still love their country. But if "The Crimson Moon" entered the frail then...

Makoto: The entire Inazuma is doom.

Ei: That's why they surrendered. Because of your fear.

Makoto: As for the reason the leader wants to meet you, is mostly to confirm whether the Raiden Shogun and "The Crimson Moon" are really on the same side or not.

Primis: Hmm...…

Makoto: So…. What now, My Lord?

After giving it some thoughts, he opened his mouth.

Primis: Let her be. I don't feel like meeting her right now.

Ei: Ok.

Nodding, just when Makoto and Ei were about to leave, Primis stopped them.

Primis: By the way, tell her that I will meet her when I have time. So, be prepared since it can be any time.

Hearing such a weird request, both showed a confused expression but still nodded before leaving.

Once they left, Yae Miko walked out of the Shrine and walked over to his side.

While looking at the direction Makoto and Ei left off to, she spoke slowly.

Yae Miko: The more I spent time near you, the more I realized how vicious you are.

Primis: What. You thought of me as some kind-hearted person.

Yae Miko: No. It's just...

As she was having hard time putting out her words, Primis shook his head.

Primis: Forget it.

With this, he walked away while playing with Union Core in his hands.

Like this, time went by.

.

.

.

.

Ten days later.

Primis finally decided to meet up with the leader of resistance organization.

During the last days, he was received message from Makoto and Ei that the leader wanted to meet you and won't take much of your time.

Still, he didn't reply.

Next time he received the message saying the leader mentioned that she only wanted a minute of his time, she promised.

Primis remained silent.

And the last message he received, was what he was waiting for. In that message, she was practically begging to meet him. She also agreed to accept all of the demands if he had any but the only thing, she wanted was to meet him face to face.

Makoto, Ei, and Yae Miko still remembered how they felt a chill down their spine seeing the cold smile that crept on Primis face hearing that.

So, currently he was walking through the long hallway while following Kujou Sara who was leading the way and with Ei following behind.

Still even though Kujou Sara was walking in front, the shivering of her body gave her out, letting people know fearful she was that "The Crimson Moon" was just behind her.

As they went past multiple rooms, the guards stationed there lowered their head not daring to meet eye-to-eye with "The Crimson Moon". And with their trembling bodies and sweat clothes which were sticking with their skin, it was not hard to guess how tense they were.

After walking for some more, they reached in front of the room which was holding the leader of the resistance.

And surprising the two people who were standing guard in front of the room were none other than Kamisato Ayato and Kamisato Ayaka.

Yes, you heard that right. The siblings which were once the head of Kamisato Clan and handle most of their affairs, were now reduced to mere guards.

Seeing the approaching Kujou Sara, both the siblings straightened up and saluted. But when their gaze moved behind her, they both lost any colour on their face as their body started trembling.

Pretending not to notice that, Primis spoke.

Primis: Open the door.

Hearing this, they replied instinctively.

Ayato & Ayaka: Y-Yes, Your Excellency...…

Saying they opened the door and Primis entered with Ei in toll. But then he spoke again.

Primis: You three also follow.

Then without waiting for their reply, he continued.

The three of them exchanged glances before deciding to follow.

.

.

.

.

Entering the room, Primis saw the person lying on the ground.

She was a woman of 22-24 years of age with long, pale salmon pink hair styled in a high ponytail that divides itself in two at the top. Her attire consisted of an off-the-shoulder navy-blue kimono-like coat with paler blue swirling accents that resemble waves at the bottom of her tamoto sleeves.

On her chest was attached large indigo bow with her a Vision mounted at the centre alongside two purple ribbons. Though there was no element power in that vision. In other words, currently it was nothing more than accessory.

The woman face was pale and black circles could be seen under her eyes, clearly indicating she was sleep deprived.

At this time, she seemed to have heard the sound of door opening and opened her eyes.

Her eyes were indigo in colour with no pupil and a large white highlight at the top of her iris. Other time those eyes contained wisdom and radiance but right now they seemed lacklustre.

Even though it was not needed, the woman hands and legs were tied as a precaution. After all, one way or another she was still the leader of the resistance organisation. They can't afford that let their guard down.

At this time, the woman raised her head with some difficult and saw Primis.

Woman: You are...The Crimson Moon.

Primis: I am.

Woman: I see...…. I am… Sangonomiya Kokomi... The Divine Priestess of Watatsumi Island and… a descendant of the Sangonomiya Clan.... And also, the leader---

Primis: Former.

Kokomi: ...Um…The former leader of... the resistance.

Seeing her like this, everyone can tell that every word that Kokomi was uttering took her full power.

Not surprising since she was facing many issues right now. Namely drowsiness, impaired concentration, brain fog, extreme fatigue, tremors, impaired memory, impaired decision-making, difficulty learning new information, slow reaction time, depersonalization, anxiety, heightened stress levels, illusions, delusions, disordered thinking, and even depersonalization.

These were the issues one faced if they didn't sleep for days. And Sangonomiya Kokomi was facing all of them.

Unbeknownst to others, the one responsible for her current condition was none other than Primis.

.

.

.

Primis knew that Sangonomiya Kokomi was in charge of most of Watatsumi's affairs, shouldering heavy responsibilities alone in hopes for giving Watatsumi Island's people the hopes and happiness that they desired. Hence, she was very good at politics.

Not only that as a skilled strategist, she thought of all potential scenarios and how to handle them.

So, if Primis did met her before then even if she found it risky, she would still try to use various schemes, stratagem, deals in order for her people to get as much benefits as she can.

Primis can of course see through them and decline but he knew she will then think of a way to delay it, in order to try different methods next time.

For him it was not only a waste of time but also a hassle. So, he decided to give her a glimpse of what a true scheme really was.

Thus, he said was "By the way, tell her that I will meet her when I have time. So, be prepared since it can be any time.".

In normal scenario, these words seemed simple without any suspicious behind them. But in case someone sharp minded like Sangonomiya Kokomi gave it deeper thought then the thing which resounded the most was "any time".

This means it can be any moment or second or minute or day. Something common, right?

However, don't forget that the dread of "The Crimson Moon" was deeply rooted in the heart of every inhabitant of Teyvat.

And since Sangonomiya Kokomi hadn't met Primis before and didn't know what kind of person he was, she can't afford to sleep thinking "The Crimson Moon" could get furious seeing how she dozed off when he came to visit. After all, he specifically mentioned to "be prepared".

As a result, she started remaining alert all this time while waiting for him.

Yet, with each passing day, let alone seeing his shadow, Kokomi didn't even receive any message from him.

And as days went by, she started getting anxious due to her rapid decline of brain activity which made it difficult to have rational thinking. So, she sent another message to meet him.

Nevertheless, she was only met my silence.

Finally, when her mind deteriorated to the point that it was having slow processing and reaction time. She was even having illusions of her people suffering due to her wrong decision. So, in the end, she had no choice to beg to meet him.

In case, Sangonomiya Kokomi had her vision, she would be fine somewhat but without it she was just a mere human. Therefore, Primis also decided to make her experience what happened to a normal person if they didn't get sleep for days.

Hence, the current situation.

.

.

.

Right now, Primis was looking down on her while being completely unfazed at her current sorry condition.

Yae Miko realized what he was planning, that's why that time she said he was very heartless.

The other reason Primis decided to meet Sangonomiya Kokomi now was not of pity but because if he didn't then she would have died by tomorrow. After all, due to lack of rest, her brain was at the breaking point.

Primis: Since you don't have much time left, let's directly come to the chase. What do you want?

Because of her weakened state, it took a while for her to register what Primis said. Then she spoke slowly.

Sangonomiya Kokomi: I…agree with… Watatsumi Army merging with...…Shogun's… army. The only thing I want is that...…they won't be mistreated...and persecuted.... just because they were once part of...the resistance.

Primis: Hmm...That's all?

Sangonomiya Kokomi: .... That's all.

She nodded with some difficulty.

Primis: I agree.

Just she was about to let out a sigh of relief, Primis interrupted her.

Primis: However.

Sangonomiya Kokomi: ...….

Giving her a deep look, he spoke.

Primis: You are also part of the resistance. This means I also want…you.

As the pupilless girl widened her eyes, Primis crouched down, look directly into her eyes and spoke.

Primis: You will also join Shogun's Army as one of its commanders. You will not favour the people of once Watatsumi Army over the other soldiers and will treat every one of them equally. Not only that, you won't get your feelings get the better of you and will follow every order without question. And finally....

Grabbing her hair, he raised her head to his eye level while ignoring the painful grunt she was releasing.

Primis: Even if the enemy is from your Sangonomiya Clan or Watatsumi Island or someone you know, you won't hesitate to execute them if they stand in the way

Looking at his cold bluish-black eyes, the girl gulped before speaking.

Sangonomiya Kokomi: I...…understand.

THUD!!

Hearing her confirmation, Primis let go of her, making her fall before standing up.

Then without even bothering looking at her, he turned to leave.

Sangonomiya Kokomi: If you don't…mind.... Can…I ask...…something?

Hearing this Primis paused his steps but remained silent.

Understanding his silent approval, she asked.

Sangonomiya Kokomi: Why do you…. want us...to become part of...…. Shogun's Army?....Why do you want...….to make Shogun's Army...more powerful?...How does...…it benefits.... Your…Excellency?

That's the thing that not only Sangonomiya Kokomi but also other three namely Kujou Sara, Kamisato Ayato, and Kamisato Ayaka wanted to you.

Ei, on the other side, remained silent since she was already aware of it.

Primis: Benefits, you say?

Sangonomiya Kokomi: ...…. Yes.

Primis: Isn't it obvious? It benefits me the most. After all...….

Glancing back at her, he spoke.

Primis: Shogun Army is...mine.
