Lumine, Paimon, and Jean hurriedly made their way to upstairs while Diluc also followed after a second.
The only one left behind was Venti who was still looking at purple-haired woman with countless questions in his mind.
Noticing his gaze, Makoto turned and put her index finger on her lips.
Snapping out of his stupor, the bard nodded slowly before also deciding to make his way to them.
Lumine was the first one reach up. She hurriedly pulled one of the chairs from the other table and bought it near Primis's before sitting on it. Her eyes were only on Primis though occasionally she gave a jealous eye to Makoto since Primis would always take her wherever he goes. Before it was Lumine who stayed by his side now her position was taken.
Primis, of course, saw through Lumine thoughts. Hence, he put his hand on her head and started patting her. This made Lumine turn her attention as she closed her eyes in content.
Paimon: Paimon too! Paimon too!
Our little companion also wanted this but before she could, Lumine caught her and didn't let her. Right now, she wanted to getting rid of growing enviousness in her heart.
Primis didn't mind Lumine's behavior. After being separated from her brother and waking up in his 'new' world, he was all Lumine had. So, its not that surprising that she felt that Primis would be taken away from her.
The First Electro Archon who was standing behind Primis of course notice the look blonde was giving her before. But she didn't get bothered by it and just smiled.
Jean: Thank you for getting lyre back, Your Excellency.
Diluc: Your Excellency?
Jean and Diluc also reached them. The Acting Grandmaster bowed towards Primis before taking another seat while Diluc was surprised at the way Jean addressed him.
Still, he noticed the eye Jean was giving him and realized that Primis must be some kind of Noble or royalty right away.
Even though Diluc didn't have that good impression of Nobles thought of them as some leech, seeing how Jean was sincere with her words and was genuine respected Primis, he thought of Primis to be one of exceptions and didn't give birth to any hostility towards him for now.
And since he brought back the lyre, this means he also had no bad intention against Mondstadt. So, his impression of Primis rose a level.
When Primis nodded at Jean, Venti also appeared.
Venti: You also have my gratitude Sir.
Saying this Venti picked up the lyre.
Venti: Ah, this is the Holy Lyre! The pattern of flowing wind craved on the rosewood and the strings still feel cool to the touch too. Oh, the memories…
Jean: What do you think, Venti? Can you summon Dvalin?
Venti: Although this lyre is the real thing, I doubt that it's going to work. As you can see, the lyre has been through a thousand years of history. It's Anemo power has run dry. In this condition, you couldn't play music fit for even Diluc's tavern with it.
Not liking Venti's words, Diluc was about to open his mouth but Primis spoke.
Primis: You are next, Lumine.
Lumine: Hmm…Eh? Me?
The Traveler who was enjoying Primis patting snapped out of her thoughts and pointed at herself with dumbfounded expression.
Primis: Dvalin's teardrops.
Venti: Ehehe so sir knows. Yup, the lyre itself is fine but the intensity of Anemo power in it has greatly diminished. Those teardrops can do the trick.
Lumine: Oh? Ok.
Taking out the Teardrop crystal, Lumine carefully placed it onto the strings.
GLOW!!!
Once she did so, it let out an aqua green glowing before fading.
Venti: Hehe, it worked, as expected.
Jean: This youthful glow…
Paimon: Praising yourself? Really?
Our little fairy who breakthrough from Lumine grasp sat on Primis lap, putting his hand on her head this time, she gave an incredulous look to Jean.
Jean: I am talking about the Lyre.
Venti: Thanks to Lumine having purified the crystal, the Holy Lyre won't continue to lose power. That said, its power is far from replenished. It'd be great if we could get more tears.
Diluc: More. Huh.
Venti: That's right. I can surmise that Dvalin will already be crying. Suffering alone in some deserted place.
Diluc: Jean, what if you mobilize rest of the Knights to assist. When they get it, Lumine can perform purification process.
Venti: Yeah. That's a good plan.
However, Jean on the other hand, shook her head in denial.
Jean: That's a problem.
Venti & Diluc & Paimon: Huh? Why?
Understanding what Jean meant, Lumine also nodded her head.
Lumine: Um. If anyone else touch it, they will be cursed.
Paimon: Oh, Paimon forgot that. We can't let others touch those crystals.
Diluc: What Curse?
Venti: I also want to know. You said the same thing to me before.
At this Lumine gave a belief summary that whoever touch the crystal will get the curse of being losing their vision in due time. And also, how Jean and Lisa also got cursed and experienced the same. Fortunately, Primis was there to get rid of it.
Hearing this everyone's expression turned grave.
Diluc: In that case, whoever have found and touch those corrupted crystal so far will soon lost their elemental power.
Jean: Um. That's why instead of touching them, I planned to orders the knights to destroy them first thing once they found them.
Diluc: That would be best for all.
Venti: Strange. Then why can't I experience the same thing? I can't even sense that so called curse.
Primis: That's because neither are you like other mortals nor you have vision.
Jean & Diluc: Huh?
This revelation of Primis caught both Jean and Diluc off guard.
Venti: E-hehe. I don't know what are you talking about.
Scratching his head in embarrassment, Venti looked away. At this he was certain that Primis knew his identity.
Jean and Diluc also started wondering what Primis meant. Still, they shook their head and decided to focus on the things in front for now.
Jean: If crystals are of no use now, how do we replenish lyre's power?
Venti: I am also thinking of the alternative right now.
While others were lost in thoughts, Lumine instead turned her head to Primis looking at him with hopeful eyes.
Noticing her gaze, Primis sighed before extending his hand forward. This put a smile on her face.
Next, in front of everyone's eyes, Primis grabbed the lyre and then…
SHINE!!!!!!!!!!
An intense blue light burst out and covered the entire lyre.
The light made others present in tavern to close their eyes.
By the time light died out, the lyre could be seen placed in the middle of the table and a huge amount of Anemo power was being emitted from it.
This shocked everyone. They never expected this.
Like a marionette they turned their head towards Primis direction. Though in the next second, they all were speechless. Why? Because Primis and Makoto was no longer there.
Getting used to Primis leaving like this, Lumine could only show a wry smile. Still, she was happy that Primis helped her when she asked.
At this time, Venti received a sound transmission.
Primis: Complete this fast. Then we would have a talk, Barbatos.
That's all he heard. Still hearing this, he let out a sigh.
'Venti: So, he really knows who I am. *sigh* Anyway…'
Picking up the now fixed lyre, he spoke.
Venti: Let's go and save Dvalin.
