For his second pick, Hade chose Naomi.

If you excluded everyone who had been selected up to this point, the Legacy Sound practitioner was without question, the most capable student left from the lot.

Hade did not doubt one bit that Naomi's Sound law abilities would prove crucial in scouting whatever terrain they would be transported to.

'I just hope that she can follow orders,' Hade thought to himself.

That was his only reservation in making this pick. As far as he was concerned, Naomi had made it abundantly clear that she wanted the role of team leader. 

Hade could only hope that this desire of hers was not going to cause them problems later on.

It was a gamble. Either he picked Naomi and dealt with whatever consequences followed, or he risked losing her to Saul or Rozar.

Hade had gone with the former. After all, skilled and intelligent comrades such as the Oxborn were very hard to come by.
