The room itself was bathed in a soft, ethereal light that poured in through the stained glass windows depicting a myriad of mythical magic beasts.

There were dragons, phoenixes, and griffins, too, accompanied by other enigmatic yet undoubtedly powerful creatures whose unspoken names had been lost in the interminable flow of time.

A magnificent desk made entirely of polished marble was the centerpiece of the room.

Even in the confined space it shone like a beacon, with delicate inlays of enchanted gemstones and numerous other shiny things.
