Chapter 107: New Orders

Official Ma jumped in his seat. He took his hands away from his eyes and was startled to see a man dressed from head to toe in black standing not far away from his desk. The intruder's face was covered with a black cloth, and a sword was strapped to his back.

"Who are you?! How did you get in?!" Official Ma tried to scramble out of his seat, but in his panic he couldn't push himself away from his desk. "Guards! Guar—"

The masked man tossed something onto Official Ma's desk. "Shut up. Take a good look at this."

Intimidated by the masked man's presence, Official Ma closed his mouth and peered at the object on his desk. It was an iron token with carvings on it. His eyes widened, and he reached out to take a closer look.
