Chapter 26: Trio of Doctors
All of the Straw Hat Pirates could be seen huddled around a fire, all drinking hot chocolate, and being informed about what was happening on the island.
Luffy heard some stuff about a pirate messing the place up and it snowing all the time, but he didn't really give a shit about that stuff. He just wanted to know where to doctor is to heal Nami. He jumped up and looked at Dalton.
"Buffalo, you said there were only four doctors on the island?" Luffy asked as he walked over to the side of the bed where Nami was lying down. Usopp sighed at the question.
"Luffy, he just said that the only doctors on the island live on the top of the tallest mountain. We can't take someone as sick as Nami up a mountain when the regular way to get up there is broken." Usopp tried to explain, but Luffy didn't even hear anything after he heard that the doctors lived on the tallest mountain.
Luffy lightly slapped Nami's face over and over again, getting Sanji and Vivi to stand up in a hurry.
"Hey, stop that, Luffy!" "She's trying to sleep!!"
Luffy ignored everyone else as he saw Nami's eyes flutter open before she let out a groan and shut her eyes, making Luffy smile.
"Nami, the doctor is on the top of the tallest mountain, I'm gonna carry you up there as fast as I can, alright?" Luffy asked softly as he held his hand up, getting everyone in the small house to look at him like a madman.
They all got up to pull him away from Nami but were stopped when they heard Nami's tired laughter.
"Hahaha, I'll be counting on you, Captain~"
They all saw Nami smile at Luffy and run her fingers through his, getting him to close his hand around hers with a big smile.
"Shishishishi, leave it to me."
They all looked at the Captain and Navigator with dull faces. They had both lost their minds.

Everyone was outside, except for Dalton who said he needed to continue 'making preparations'. For what? Who knows. They either didn't feel like it was their place to ask or they didn't care.
Everyone was helping Luffy secure Nami onto his back with planks, ropes, and blankets. Luffy grinned at how worried everyone was for Nami.
This is what he wanted, a crew like Shanks' crew that is more like friends and family than a pirate crew. Now he's gotta do his part as the Captain and take care of his crew.
Vivi had tied countless ropes and blankets around Nami to make sure she would be safe and warm, but she couldn't help but be worried. She felt a tap on her shoulder, turning to see Sanji with a massive sweat-drop on his forehead and Usopp behind him, stunned with his mouth hanging open.
"Vivi-chan, at this point, this will probably just make it harder for Luffy and more uncomfortable for Nami-swan." Sanji tried to explain to the worried girl who didn't seem to see what she was doing wrong. They turned to Luffy when they heard him laughing.
"Shishishishi!! Don't worry, Sanji, Vivi, Usopp, I'll get her up there super fast and I won't make her any worse than she already is!!" Luffy said with a confident smile that made the three sigh before nodding at him.
It's not like they could stop him either way.
Once Luffy knew Nami was completely secured on his back, he raised his right arm covered in 'Armament Haki' as he bit into it before blowing air into it. Luffy and Nami were engulfed in a cloud of steam as the three others looked on in confusion.
Sanji and Usopp's confusion turned to surprise when they sensed the massive build-up of 'Haki' from within the steam.
"It's what he did in 'Loguetown' at the end of his fight with that Smoker guy," Sanji said as he shook his head in disbelief, Usopp doing the same next to him.
"He only did it for a second so I couldn't sense it that well then. This is insane!!" Usopp couldn't believe the amount of 'Haki' Luffy was producing.
Vivi looked at the two curiously before turning to the cloud of steam. She couldn't sense what the other two could so she had no idea what was happening.
"Gear 4th: Snake-Man"
The steam cleared to see Luffy with flame-shaped hair that matched the pattern of the reddish-black 'Armament Haki' on his hands up to his forearms and on his feet up past his knees. He also had a gaseous substance appearing as a mix of steam and fire draped over his shoulders like a scarf.
The majesty of his form was ruined, however, by the girl tied up in a cocoon of blankets and ropes.
Luffy looked at his friends who were silently taking in his speedy form and smiled.
"Well, I'll see you guys later!" Luffy said and before any of them could say another word, his legs had already compressed into themselves a bit before extending, sending Luffy and Nami flying in the direction of the 'Drum Rockies'.
The three were dumbstruck not only at how fast Luffy left but also that they made no plan whatsoever to meet back up with him. Vivi looked at the two pirates.
"Is he really always like this?" She asked. She shook her head in disbelief when the two just sighed tiredly.
The three of them turned around when they heard the door to Dalton's house open to see the large man walking outside with a backpack that looked to be full of supplies. Dalton blinked when he didn't see Luffy or Nami anywhere. He looked around a bit before looking at the three.
"Um, where is your Captain?" He asked.
He sweat-dropped when all he got in response was three tired sighs.

Luffy was using his advanced version of 'Moon-Walk' he can use while he was in 'Gear-4th' to get to the tallest mountain he could see as fast as he could. He frowned when he felt Nami start lightly shivering.
'I gotta get to this doctor quick.' Luffy thought to himself as a massive mountain with a big castle on the top of it came into view.
Luffy's eyes widened when he sensed three strong people on the mountain when he was about four hundred meters away. He grinned as he thought about the chances of one of these people being a doctor who would be cool enough to join his crew.
"Room"
As Luffy got to the top of the mountain, a massive blue bubble covered the mountain. Before he could think about it, he heard someone speak again.
"Shambles"
Luffy was suddenly near the roof of the mountain with two punches covered in 'Armament Haki' and fur a couple of inches from his face. One of them even had electricity covering it.
He smirked and kicked his leg out to the side and used 'Moon-Walk' to avoid the punch.
"Shambles"
He glanced behind him at the swordsman who just appeared out of nowhere, with his sword also coated in 'Armament Haki' being swung right at his neck.
"Gomu-Gomu no..."
He launched his right hand, which had rapidly compressed into his arm, at the sword before it could get close.
"JET PYTHON!!!"
*BOOOM!!!*
The punch deflected the sword headed for the man's head, forcing him to dodge Luffy's attack by leaning to his left. The Straw Hat Captain grinned when he saw the guy used 'Observation Haki', otherwise there was no way to react to that punch.
Too bad it isn't good enough.
"Stretch, PYTHON!!!"
*TING* *TING* *TING*
The man's eyes widened when he saw the punch he just dodged had come back around and was about to hit his right cheek.
*BOOOOM!!*
He was unable to mount any defense as the punch slammed into his face and launched him off of the roof.
"Room"
The blue bubble disappeared for a second before it reappeared covering the entire mountain and castle.
"Shambles"
Luffy's eyebrow twitched as he noticed he switched places with the guy he just punched. He got out of his 'Gear 4th' and used 'Moon-Walk' to get up to the top of the mountain again.
When he landed on the mountain again, he looked back at Nami, whose face was completely red and she was shivering badly.
Luffy bit his lip as he looked over at the three who were on top of the castle.
"Oi, I don't know who the hell you guys are, but I'm just here because the Buffalo guy told me the doctors live here. If you're the doctors, I need help with my sick friend." Luffy said as he nodded at Nami on his back. Luffy glared hard back at the three.
"But, if you're not the doctors, I'll just kick your ass and go find them," Luffy said before tugging a little bit on the rope in his chest, letting out a little bit of his 'Conqueror's Haki'.
He saw the three tense and the one with the sword and the weird blue bubble looked almost relieved before that was hidden behind a mask of stoicism. Luffy raised an eyebrow at that.
The man made eye contact with Luffy as he dispelled the blue bubble covering the castle and mountain and sheathed his sword.
"We are the doctors." The man said as he sheathed his sword and glanced at Nami on Luffy's back before looking at the small reindeer that was much larger than Luffy a minute ago.
"Chopper, go grab her and bring her to the room we just cleaned." The man said to the now-named Chopper who nodded and jumped down from the roof.
Luffy smiled at the little guy who he now knew was named Chopper, who blushed when he saw that. Luffy saw him hold his little hooves out.
"Can you hand her to me? I'll treat her." Chopper said getting an amused smile from Luffy.
"How are you going to carry her?" He asked. Luffy let out a nervous laugh and felt a sweatdrop on his forehead when Chopper switched to the massive buff form that was much larger than Luffy.
"Hehe, I forgot you could do that," Luffy said getting a smile from the massive Chopper, which looked pretty funny on his huge form.
Luffy looked back at the shivering and sleeping Nami with a frown.
"Sorry for the rough ride, Nami. But, we made it to the doctor." Luffy whispered to her making her hug him tighter in his sleep.
Luffy smiled at her before prying her off of him and handing her to Chopper. Luffy turned his smile to him.
'This guy is pretty strong. Those two are too. If I wasn't already in 'Gear 4th', I might've lost that fight if they caught me off guard.' Luffy thought to himself.
"I'll be counting on you," Luffy said making Chopper look down at the ground with an embarrassed blush on his face. Luffy laughed as he watched the reindeer take his friend into the giant castle.
He turned his attention to the two still up on the roof of the castle, looking down at him. Luffy grinned up at the man and polar bear.
"You two strong, that little guy who took Nami is too," Luffy said to the two. The man scoffed and the bear smiled a beaming smile like he was just told the best news of his life.
"Really?!" The bear shouted out which made Luffy laugh.
"Shishishishi!! Yeah!! I dodged that punch from before for a reason you know!" Luffy answered, making the bear beam in joy.
Luffy chuckled at that before turning his attention to the man who hadn't stopped watching him. Luffy tilted his head in confusion when he saw how intently the man was looking at him.
The man looked at him for another few seconds before holding his hand out in front of him facing the ground.
"Room"
That blue bubble appeared again, this time only covering the castle and the top of the mountain. The man his index and middle finger upwards and swiped them twice.
"Shambles"
The man and polar bear appeared a few meters in front of Luffy, who was looking at them, and the small amount of snow that just appeared on the roof of the castle where they were standing with stars in his eyes.
"What was that, you can teleport? You did that in our fight too!! Can you teleport other stuff?! Did you eat a devil fruit that lets you do magic?!" Luffy rapidly fired out questions to the man who could already feel his headache forming. The man held his hand up making Luffy stop his rapid-fire questioning.
"First, yes I can teleport. I ate the 'Ope-Ope no mi' and became an Operation Human. Second, who the hell are you? I've never seen you here before." The man asked making Luffy look affronted at the question.
"I didn't say?! Oh well, I'm Monkey D. Luffy and I'm going to be the Pirate King!! So, who are you guys?" Luffy shouted out before asking. The man's eyes widened momentarily again and his emotions spiked, which made the bear look at the man worried and Luffy raised his eyebrow again.
The man's face forcefully turned to a blank one again before he talked to the bear.
"Bepo, go help Chopper." The man said to the now-named Bepo still looked at the man worried for a few seconds before going back into the castle, not before taking one more worried glance at the man.
Luffy looked at the guy who had been acting pretty weird since he first saw him. The man seemed to debate something in his head before shaking his head.
"My name is Trafalgar Law, I'm a doctor. Those two will heal your friend, so don't worry about her." The now-introduced Law said, making Luffy breathe a sigh of relief before giving him a massive smile.
"I see, thank you!! I've been really worried about her!!" Luffy said with a smile.
That smile twitched when he saw Law unsheathing his blade again, making Luffy put his hand on the hilt of his cutlass.
"Do you still want to fight?" Luffy said with a growing smile.
Luffy knew very well this guy was holding back because his two friends were there, but they weren't anymore, so he had no reason to hold back if he still wanted to fight.
Law answered by unsheathing his 'Kikoku' and holding out his right hand facing the ground.
"Room"
The blue bubble covered the entire mountain and castle again making Luffy smile.
Law knew very well that the person in front of him didn't want to continue fighting, but regardless of whether it was him joining under this guy's banner or him joining under his, Law knew he wouldn't ever find someone better to help him with his goals, especially with the strength he's showcased so far.
But he has to make sure it's enough. Because it's never been enough whenever he's thought about it before. But now? It's looking a lot better in Law's eyes.
Law has grown up as the sole survivor of the 'Amber Lead Syndrome' that killed off every other inhabitant of 'Flevance'.
After somehow making it out alive, he joined the 'Donquixote Pirates' under 'Donquixote Doflamingo', who is now one of the 'Seven Warlords of The Sea'.
He struggled with the training the pirate put him through before being forcefully taken away from the pirate group by Doflamingo's blood-brother, Donquixote 'Corazon' Rosinante when the man heard of Law having the middle initial 'D' in his name.
Corazon took Law all around the world to try and find a doctor who could cure his sickness, but all of the hospitals would turn them away.
After some events Law doesn't like talking about that led to him becoming the user of the 'Ope Ope no mi' and Corazon dying, Law managed to make it to a place called 'Swallow Island' in the 'North Blue' where he met Bepo, who became his first real friend and crew mate, as well as an old man named Wolf who was a very talented inventor.
When the old man found out the two were planning on leaving the island, he convinced them to stay and learn from him so they would be well prepared.
Wolf taught Law and Bepo how to help work on his submarine they renamed the 'Polar Tang' and gifted it to them after they defeated Wolf's son who became a pirate and tried to kill the people of 'Swallow Island'.
It was there that Law learned Doflamingo had become to new king of 'Dressrosa', a kingdom in the 'New World', and he told Bepo of his goal to defeat the Warlord. He will be ever grateful for the unhesitating support he received from his friend.
The two ended up entering the 'Grand Line' much earlier than they should've because of what they thought was one of Doflamingo's ships docking at 'Swallow Island'(it was a merchant ship with a similar jolly roger).
The two got attacked by massive sea kings after unknowingly entering the 'Calm Belt' because of not having enough people to run the submarine correctly.
The two washed up on an island called 'Little Garden' where they found two Giants that would fight every day whenever the volcano would erupt.
After explaining how they got to the island, the Giants explained to them how the 'Log Pose' wouldn't be ready for another year.
After talking with Bepo to make sure he was alright with it, Law asked the two Giants to train them.
After proving their strength to them, the Giants agreed to train them until they left.
In the year they spent on 'Little Garden', both Law and Bepo learned 'Armament Haki' and 'Observation Haki'.
Law improved his devil fruit usage and stamina to the point that he didn't even notice the strain from his attacks and Bepo mastered his 'Electro' as well as his 'Sulong' form.
Once the two of them were able to fight evenly two, they made their way to 'Drum Kingdom' which was known as the island with the best doctors on the 'Grand Line' so they could improve their skills.
Once they sailed there on a dinghy Law made using his devil fruit, they saw a destroyed town that tried to kill them when they arrived.
After convincing the locals they weren't there to harm them, they learned that the island had been destroyed by a small group of pirates with one of them having control over darkness.
Law asked where he could find any doctors on the island, finding out how much their idiot king had messed up their country.
Good thing it wasn't any of their business.
After asking around a bit, they found out the only doctor still on the island stayed at the top of the highest mountain of the 'Drum Rockies'.
Law and Bepo made the annoying journey up to the mountain with huge, aggressive rabbits attacking them the whole way up.
When the two finally got to the top, they almost got kicked right back off by some old lady.
The old lady turned out to be the only doctor on the island along with a human-reindeer hybrid named Chopper who was her apprentice.
After a few hours of bargaining ending with agreeing to let the old woman experiment with Law's 'Ope Ope no mi' in exchange for teachings, Law and Bepo became Dr. Kureha's second and third students.
As Law learned from the old woman, he thought about his goal to defeat the 'Donquixote Pirates' to complete Corazon's mission.
He knew very well he couldn't do it alone and that he needed strong allies to accomplish this goal.
Law had already talked to Bepo about this and knew his friend was with him no matter what, but he also knew just Bepo wouldn't be anywhere near enough.
Sure, he could get Chopper too, and the reindeer was definitely strong, learning both types of 'Haki' from the old woman, but that still isn't enough.
Luckily for him, after just four months of being on 'Drum Island', he seems to have found someone who could genuinely help him.
All that's left is to beat this stupid-looking kid up until he agrees to join his crew.
Luffy grinned when he sensed the fighting intention from Law and applied 'Advanced Armament Haki' to his hand and now-unsheathed cutlass.
"Divine One-Sword Style..."
The sight made Law's pupils tighten as he had never seen this use of 'Haki' before, but he could sense how unbelievably strong it was.
'I can't let that hit me no matter what.' Law thought to himself as he applied as much 'Armament Haki' to his sword as he could. He hastily brought the sword in front of him when Luffy appeared a few meters in front of him swinging his cutlass.
"Divine Flaming Dragon!!!"
*FWOOM!!*
A massive flaming compressed air slash in the shape of a dragon was upon Law before he could blink. The attack sent Law back towards the castle before the man flicked his fingers.
"Shambles"
Law reappeared in Luffy's place with the rubber man flying toward the castle instead of him.
Luffy snorted before flipping himself around with his feet facing the castle.
*BOOOOM*
*BOOOOM*
Luffy landed on the wall of the castle before launching himself back at Law, who had taken a few pebbles out of his pocket.
*FLICK* *FLICK* *FLICK*
Law flicked all three pebbles at Luffy's right, left, and right at him. Luffy grinned as he realized what was going on as Law flicked his fingers again.
"Shambles"
Law switched places with the pebble flying to Luffy's left, making him turn that way while swinging his cutlass.
"Shambles"
Law flicked his fingers again, making him, making switch places with the pebbles flying on Luffy's right with his sword heading for Luffy's neck. Luffy didn't even look at him as he kept his sword pointed toward the pebble heading right at him.
Law's eyes shined when they saw that.
'He fell for it.' He thought to himself as he let his sword drop from his hands and brought both his fists to Luffy's right side.
"Counter Shock!!!"
*BZZZ*
Law released a strong electrical surge like a defibrillator into Luffy's side. Law was completely astonished when his attack seemed to do nothing to his opponent, who just blinked when the last pebble hit him on the forehead Law didn't switch with before he looked at the stupified Law with a smile.
"That won't work on me!! Divine One-Sword Style..." Law flicked his fingers again to get out of the attack range.
"Shambles"
It's just too bad that Luffy decided to just attack everything.
"Divine Red Storm!!!"
*FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM* *FWOOM*
Countless red compressed air slashes were launched all around the mountain and castle, forcing Law to defend against the attacks and stop teleporting away, knowing very well what that old woman would do to him if that castle got damaged while she was gone.
"Amputate!!!"
Law swung his sword, that he had teleported back to his hand at some point, horizontally.
*BOOOOM!!!*
Even though the attack didn't touch any of Luffy's attacks, Law's attack still canceled out all the attacks that were going to hit the castle. As for the mountain…
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
It now had multiple thin, deep ravines in the area not directly in front of the castle.
Luffy grinned at what Law just did. Law was able to counter his attacks, that was covered in 'Advanced Armament Haki', with an attack that only used Law's 'Armament Haki' and devil fruit.
Luffy sheathed his cutlass as he focused his 'Advanced Armament Haki' into it as well as the flames he's been getting better at using.
"Divine One-Sword Style..."
Luffy grinned at the sweating Law, who was making a pulling motion with his arm stretched horizontally in front of him as Luffy rapidly unsheathed his flaming cutlass.
"Curtain!!!"
"Divine Flaming Wave!!!"
*BOOOOM!!!*
A massive slash made of compressed air and flames shot out towards Law who generated a protective, transparent light blue veil between himself and Luffy that blocked the slash.
*CRACK*
Law's eyes widened when he heard his 'Curtain' crack from the strain of Luffy's attack. He quickly flicked his fingers.
"Shambles"
*BOOOOOM!!!*
Law switched places with some snow on the ground and not a moment too soon Luffy's attack broke the 'Curtain' right after Law was gone.
Law looked at the straw-hat-wearing teenager warily, finally realizing he had far underestimated his opponent.
Luffy grinned when he saw that look. It reminded him of how the animals on 'Dawn Island' looked at him after he beat them up a few times for training.
"I came here to get Nami all better and maybe recruit a doctor, who would've thought I found three interesting doctors so quickly!!" Luffy said to himself as he looked at Law who was starting to pant from exhaustion with a massive smile.
"Hey, you're trying to beat me so I join your crew, right?" Luffy asked, but he already knew the answer from what he sensed from Law.
Law blinked at the question before nodding while trying to catch his breath. If he knew, no need to say it or hide it.
Luffy's smile widened when he saw Law nod before he asked another question.
"So, if I beat you, will you join my crew?" Luffy asked getting Law to blink again before the man responded seriously.
"If you're stronger than me and will help me with my goals, I have no problem joining you. But that's only if you're stronger than me." Law answered honestly.
He needed strong allies for his goals and would like to be the Captain, but wouldn't mind joining under a like-minded person like this man, and he was definitely strong. The guy didn't even go into that other form he used against all three of them.
There's also the middle initial 'D' in Luffy's name.
Luffy smiled as wide as he could at the answer as he could tell Law was telling the truth.
"Then you better get ready to block!! Divine One-Sword Style..."
He raised his cutlass over his right shoulder and planted his left foot hard, leaving an imprint in the ground.
Law sensed the massive concentration of 'Haki' on Luffy's cutlass and prepared for the attack by flicking out three more pebbles, but before he could switch with any of them, Luffy's attack was already cutting him across the chest.
"DIVINE DEPARTURE!!!!"
*FWOOOOOM*
*BOOOOM!!!*
The wounded Law was launched back into the castle before he could even think to switch with one of the pebbles he threw out.
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Luffy's smile became strained when the rubble of the broken castle fell on top of where Law landed.
'I didn't just kill my new doctor did I?' He thought to himself in distress, which funnily enough, made him not calm enough to be able to use his 'Observation Haki' to sense that Law was still alive.
"Shambles"
Luffy breathed a sigh of relief when Law appeared in front of him with a cut going from his left hip to his right shoulder and a few bruises over his body.
Law looked himself over before wincing and putting his hand over his stomach as it started glowing blue.
"First Aid"
Luffy watched in awe as the bruises disappeared in seconds and the cut he made on Law's chest was closed and scarred in half a minute.
Law looked at the teenager looking at him with stars in his eyes in thought. Luffy mistakenly thought that Law wanted to fight again so he grinned and sheathed his cutlass, prompting Law to do the same.
Law thought they both knew the fight was over, but was proven wrong when Luffy covered his right arm in 'Armament Haki' and bit into it.
"So you can heal? If that's not enough, let's go back into 'Gear 4th'." Luffy said making Law choke on his spit.
"No, we're good!! You haven't gone into that form yet and I'm almost at my limit. I know when I've lost." Law said making Luffy blink and lower his arm as he realized how heavy Law was breathing. Luffy's confused face became serious after he realized the fight was over.
"So, what's your deal, Traffy? The reindeer guy seems to just wanna be a doctor and the bear wants to help you, but what do you want?" Luffy asked with his arms crossed.
One way or another, this is always the most important question he asks anyone who could genuinely join his crew.
Law first scowled at the nickname before he sighed at the question, knowing it was coming and knowing how unlikely it was for him to be able to ally with anyone once they knew his goal.
'Might as well get it over with. He can still recruit Chopper so I don't go back on our deal.' Law thought to himself before answering the question.
Luffy saw as Law sighed and thought to himself for a few seconds before looking at him with a determination that made him grin.
"First, my name is Trafalgar Law. Second, I'm going to fight one of the 'Seven Warlords of The Sea' and the Captain of the 'Donquixote Pirates', 'Donquixote Doflamingo'. But I can't do it alone because of how strong his crew is so I need strong… allies…" Law trailed off as he noticed that instead of being surprised, horrified, or anything of the sort, Luffy was looking bored and was digging in his nose with his right pinkie.
"Oh, it's another Warlord? We're already going to fight one of those in 'Alabasta', some idiot that's messing with Vivi." Luffy said casually as he flicked the gold he struck at Law and snorted when the man was so surprised by his reaction that it hit him right in between the eyes.
Law scowled and flicked the booger off his forehead when he realized what happened which made Luffy laugh.
"Shishishishi!! Don't worry, Traffy!! We'll beat up that dumb mingo's crew and you beat up the dumb mingo himself!!" Luffy reassured with a massive smile that stunned Law for a second with pure sincerity. Luffy took that moment to walk past him, patting him on the shoulder as he passed him.
"But, that's not where our journey will end. Now that you're with us, you're taking on the rest of the world with us!!! Shishishishi!!" Law heard what seemed to be his new Captain laugh as he disappeared into the castle, most likely going to check on the sick girl he brought with him.
Law took a deep breath looking out at the snowy skies of 'Drum Kingdom' before snorting in amusement.
'I have a feeling all of those plans I thought up as a kid to beat Doflamingo will be useless now.'

If you’re thinking that Law was too quick to join the crew, remember that unlike in canon, in this story Law has only had Corazon, Bepo, and the old man Wolf who made his submarine to trust fully before this moment. He was trained by Dorry but he never trusted the Giants, only wanted to use them to get stronger. Now that someone strong with a prue heart and intentions showed up and recruited him, Law couldn’t find a reason to decline once he knew Luffy would help with his goal of beating Doflamingo.
Next chapter will pretty much be Chopper vs Wapol and his weird subordinates so be ready for what I’m going to do with him.
Anyways, this chapter was a lot of fun to write as Law’s devil fruit is just fucking sick. Also, the ‘First Aid’ technique he used at the end is an original technique. I genuinely couldn’t find a single technique for the ‘Ope Ope no mi’ that actually fucking heals someone on the one piece wiki so I just did this. If there is an actual healing technique that I somehow missed, please let me know! I vaguely remember Law healing himself while him and Luffy were going up to Doflamingo but I’m not too sure.
