Chapter 33: Officers vs Straw Hats
Luffy let himself be dragged by the golden hook attached to the sand as he thought about what food he could find in 'Alabasta' after he kicked this Croc's ass. He smiled when he recognized the Ms. Every Saturday lady from before.
When he was about thirty meters away from them, he let go of the hook and fell to the ground.
*BOOOM!!*
Crocodile and Ms. All Sunday had to cover their eyes from the dust cloud Luffy kicked up from his landing. They could only see him crouched with a massive smile on his face.
As the dust settled, Luffy stood up straight as he saw what Crocodile looked like for the first time.
He's one of those mobster guys Ace used to tell him stories about. He laughed at the thought.
"Shishishishi!! Let's have some fun, you mobster Croc!!" Luffy shouted before covering his arms in a red coating of 'Advanced Armament Haki' and slamming his fists together.
*BOOM*
Crocodile's eyes widened before they narrowed at the display of 'Haki'. Ms. All Sunday just smiled before she turned to the Warlord.
"I'll see you in 'Alubarna' then?" She asked, getting a grunt and a nod in return, making her smile grow. She looked at Luffy and winked before she disappeared into flower petals, showing she was once again a clone. Luffy pouted at that.
"When the hell am I going to meet her and not a clone..." He muttered to himself before he shrugged. That's the future Luffy's problem, not his.
He smirked at the Warlord when he saw a tan coating cover his arms, showing Crocodile also knew how to use 'Advanced Armament Haki', who glared at the arrogant upstart.
"It's time I put you in your place, 'Straw Hat' Luffy. After I kill you, I'll go handle the princess. After that, there's no one left in my way." Crocodile muttered before he created a tornado of sand in his hand. Once it was ready, he threw it forward, and it was upon Luffy in the blink of an eye.
"Sables"
Luffy just smiled at the attack as he grabbed the hilt of his cutlass and applied his 'Advanced Armament Haki' to it. As he unsheathed and swung it at the incoming sand tornado, the blade burst out in flames.
"Divine One-Sword Style: Divine Flaming Dragon!!!"
*FWOOOM*
The tornado was split in two and fell apart when a massive compressed air and flame slash in the shape of a dragon cut it down the middle
*Tsk* *BOOOOM*
Crocodile just clicked his teeth in annoyance while Luffy grinned wider and put his still-flaming cutlass on his shoulder as the shockwave from their attacks blew wind in every direction.
"You'll have to be a lot better than that to beat me, you shitty alligator!!"

'I'm over halfway through my ammo, and all I've got to show for it is getting these two super high up.' Usopp thought to himself as he wondered why the hell he said he'd take both these guys on at once.
Usopp whipped his head around when he sensed Mr. 5 using 'Shave' to come behind him. Usopp used 'Moon-Walk' to get away from him, but that sent him right at his other opponent.
"5,000 Kilo Punch"
Usopp dodged the straightforward attack but was surprised when air pressure shot towards him after her punch. He was forced to use 'Moon-Walk' to get out of range of the attack.
"Kick Bomb!!!"
Usopp's eyes widened when he sensed Mr. 5 behind him with his foot covered in 'Armament Haki' about to hit his head. He leaned forward instinctively as the leg went over his head but was blown off balance from the explosion that followed.
As the sniper tried to re-orientate himself in the sky, Ms. Valentine appeared above his spinning form with a vicious smirk.
Usopp could vaguely sense her about to attack him, but he was much more focused on stopping the spinning.
"10,000 Kilo Press!!!"
*BOOOOM* *COUGH*
Usopp was smacked by the woman weighing ten thousand kilograms in the stomach, coughing up blood as his eyes went white for a second.
*SNORT*
Ms. Valentine's smirk became victorious as she saw this while Mr. 5 snorted in amusement.
"Come on, weren't you going to 'take care' of us? Hahahaha!!" The exploding man asked in his argument, making his partner laugh too.
"Kyahahaha!! Who did you think you were?" Ms. Valetine asked when she saw he was awake again. She scowled when she saw him smirk.
*CRACK*
Her eyes widened when she heard a cracking sound under her.
*GRAB* "AHH!!"
Before she could do anything, Usopp grabbed her left arm in a vice-grip with his left hand, making her scream in pain and getting Mr. 5 jump toward them.
"Fuck, get away from him, Ms. Valentine!!" Mr. 5 yelled out as he saw Usopp drop his 'Kabuto' and pull out a red seashell-looking object with his now-free hand. He tried to get over to them as fast as he could, too bad it was already too late.
Usopp grinned a bloody smile at the woman trying to get out of his grip as he shoved his 'Flame Dial' into the woman's stomach.
"Enjoy some of my Captain's flames, fatass!! Flame Dial: Red Hawk!!!"
*CLICK* *FWOOOOM*
"Damn it!!" Mr. 5 shouted out in anger as he saw the massive amount of flames that came out of nowhere. He ended up going right through the fire, as it didn't affect him, thanks to his devil fruit.
Because of being worried about Ms. Valentine, his 'Observation Haki' didn't warn him of the cracked shell-like object that looked just like the one that released the flames he had just gone through, except it was a different color.
"Impact Dial: 10,000 Kilo Press!!!"
*BOOOOM!!!*
The 'Impact Dial' that Usopp used to negate most of Ms. Valentine's attack returned her attack to Mr. 5's unprotected face. He wasn't even able to use any 'Armament Haki' to protect himself in time.
*PANT* *PANT* *PANT*
Usopp watched the two fall to the ground as he panted from exhaustion. He glanced at the burns on his arms before he winced as he put a hand on his stomach wound.
'Even if the 'Impact Dial' took most of the impact, it still really hurt. I don't wanna think about getting hit with all 10,000 kilos.' Usopp thought to himself with a shiver.
As he kept himself in the air with 'Moon-Walk', he scanned the different battlefields he could now see with ease.
'Did my 'Observation Haki' get stronger? Also, where did my 'Kabuto' land?' He asked himself before shrugging. It's probably below him somewhere.
Usopp looked down and saw one of his friends struggling a bit. He grabbed his small slingshot he kept on him for times he needed it, like right now, and a single piece of ammo.
He loaded it into his small slingshot and pulled it back. He waited for there to be a pause, smiling when the idiot stopped moving on their own to brag about their devil fruit. Even if the devil fruit was kind of good, it can't block lightning.
"Dumbass…" He mumbled before shooting.
"Heaven Dragon Star!!!"
*ZIZIZIZ*

Nami was very upset at everything and everyone.
She's pissed at Luffy for leaving her here and for carrying Vivi like that. That girl is a good friend, but Nami doesn't want her alone with Luffy at all.
She's even more pissed about everyone leaving her to fight this crazy lady who can turn her body into spikes.
Wait, doesn't that mean this lady is a devil fruit user? Did they leave her to fight a devil fruit user by herself?
Nami is making sure she leaves this country with at least one billion Berries for everything she's gone through. She scowled at the woman when she heard her talk.
"What's wrong, girl? Upset your friends left you to die? Don't worry, I'll make it quick if you don't struggle." The blue-haired woman said, getting a scoff from Nami.
*SCOFF*
"No way in hell would I give up to a bitch like you. That top is hideous, by the way." Nami said, getting a twitch of the eyebrow from Ms. Doublefinger.
"I'm killing you, and I'm doing it slowly." The woman said as she glared at Nami, who was preparing for the woman's attack.
"Heat Ball!!!"
Nami created a ball of heated air and sent it up into the air, making Ms. Doublefinger narrow her eyes at her before disappearing using 'Shave'.
"Double Stinger!!!"
*BOOM* *BOOM*
The woman appeared behind Nami her hands turned into large spikes before she tried to stab Nami with them, leaving a small crater in the sand from the impact after it was dodged.
Nami bit her lip hard as she used 'Shave' to dodge the attack. She knew very well if she was hit by that once, it might end the fight.
"Cool Ball!!!"
Nami created a ball of cooled air and sent it up to where she sent her 'Heat Ball' earlier, making Nami grin before she jumped up with 'Moon-Walk' to dodge another attack.
"Stinger Step!!!"
*BOOM*
Ms. Doublefinger looked up in annoyance. She was annoyed both at this little girl for running around and at herself for not being able to catch her.
"Stop running away!!"
"Hahahaha!! No, I don't think I will." Nami said smugly as she stopped in the air about ten meters below the cloud that had just formed.
"Thunder Ball!!!"
Ms. Doublefinger's eyes widened when she saw the cloud that had just formed turn into a thundercloud. Nami's smug smile widened as she swung her 'Perfected Clima-Tact' down at her opponent, who was realizing even if she could sense the attack coming with her 'Observation Haki', she wasn't fast enough to dodge lightning.
"Thunderbolt Tempo!!!"
*ZIZIZIZ* "AHHHH!!!"
Multiple lightning bolts rained down on Ms. Doublefinger, making her let out a pain-filled scream. Nami breathed a sigh of relief when she heard that before she let herself fall back to the ground softly.
"Well, at least she wasn't that strong. Seriously, those idiots should hurry up and help-"
"Stinger Finger!!!"
*SHNK* "AHHHHH!!!!!"
Nami was cut off when she felt a spike driven through her right calf, making her scream out in pain. She turned around to see Ms. Doublefinger with her arm behind her and her spiked finger going through her leg.
The only reason it wasn't through her stomach or head was because Ms. Doublefingers legs were still spasming her attack earlier, leaving her unable to reach close enough with her spikes.
Nami had no time to focus on or deal with the pain as she saw her opponent start to bring her other arm up, so she did the only thing she thought of.
*SNAP*
She abruptly rotated her impaled leg, making the spike break off while still inside her leg and allowing her to use 'Shave' to get away from her opponent before she could stab her.
*PANT* *PANT*
*PANT* *PANT*
They both took a few seconds to catch their breath as they reassessed their opponent.
Nami had a spike going through her right calf and had none of her attacks set up, while Ms. Doublefinger was still unable to walk and was still dealing with getting struck by lightning multiple times.
Nami suddenly jumped up using 'Moon-Walk', even if it hurt a lot with her hurt leg because she knew she had to beat this woman before she could move again, and it wouldn't be long before she could.
*SHNK* *SHNK* *SHNK*
Right after she did, countless spikes came out of the ground where she was just standing.
*Tsk*
Ms. Doublefinger clicked her tongue in annoyance as she removed her hand from the ground after her failed surprise attack. That annoyance multiplied when she looked up and saw that instead of backing off like before, Nami came right above her after going up in the air.
"Thunder Charge!!!"
Nami created a 'Thunder Ball' on the end of her staff before she started twirling it around while dropping towards her opponent. Ms. Doublefinger narrowed her eyes at her as she struggled to look up before she decided that she was going to stab this girl no matter what.
"You stupid girl!! You'll never be able to beat me and my power!! I'll stab straight through your party tricks!! Stinger Hedgehog!!!"
Nami paled as she saw the wounded Ms. Doublefinger sprout spikes from everywhere on her body, making her into something like a human sea urchin.
Nami paled further when she realized she couldn't use 'Moon-Walk' anymore because of her leg. Honestly, it was already a miracle she could do it at all in the first place.
Nami ended up just saying, 'Fuck it' and attacking with all her might, hoping it would knock her opponent out and get rid of the spiky ball of death.
"Swing Arm!!!" "Heaven Dragon Star!!!"
Nami sent a wave of electricity that shocked her opponent right at the same time that a dragon made of lightning shot down from above Nami and into Ms. Doublefinger almost at the same time as her attack.
Nami looked up when she saw that Ms. Doublefinger was knocked out and had retracted all of her spikes to see Usopp coming down to her while holding his small slingshot in one hand and his other over his stomach. She flashed him a tired grin before she passed out in mid-air.

Bepo and Chopper watched the fat man and mole woman warily as the woman struggled to get the man out of the hole he created after getting launched.
The reason they weren't trying to attack was because they both knew it wouldn't work.
Chopper knew the mole woman would just go underground where they couldn't reach her, and Bepo could tell their attacks would barely affect the large man either way.
Even though Mr. 4 countered Bepo's attack with his 'Armament Haki', the two didn't expect that Bepo's attack did almost nothing to the man.
"Chopper, be careful about attacking that guy, even if he's slow, his 'Armament Haki' is really strong, about as strong as Vice-Captain Zoro's 'Armament Haki'. His attacks aren't all that slow either; it's just his movement speed." Bepo told his friend, who nodded in response before pointing out something else.
"There's also that weird-looking dog thing over there. What is up with that thing?" Chopper said with a bit of confusion as he pointed out a half-dog-half-gun thing that was panting up a storm next to the big guy.
Before they could process what the hell they were looking at, the mole woman grabbed the weird dog-gun thing and went into a tunnel underground.
She popped back up about twenty meters to everyone's right and put the thing down before disappearing again underground.
Mr. 4 had taken a metal bat off of his back and nodded at the dog-gun. After he did so, the weird-looking dog-gun-thing shot a bunch of baseballs at the large man.
"Four Hundred Punk Knock!!!"
Bepo and Chopper heard the mole woman shout from underground before the man hit the baseballs back at a surprisingly swift speed into a cluster.
"Crap, move Chopper!!" The attack forced Bepo to jump onto Chopper to save him since he knew the reindeer didn't know 'Observation Haki', which you'd need to know to dodge that attack.
Bepo sensed the mole lady coming from underground, but before he could do anything, she surfaced and grabbed Chopper's legs, which dragged him out of Bepo's grip.
"Molehill Highway!!!"
While Chopper was getting dragged by the woman who had returned underground, he switched to his 'Heavy Point' and called out to Bepo, who was about to launch himself after him.
"It's alright, Bepo!! Leave her to me!!" Chopper shouted out before Bepo could move, making him stop and hesitate for a second before nodding and looking back at his opponent.
Bepo looked at the large man, who had his bat ready and was about to get the dog to start launching them again. The polar bear mink thought back to all the fights and training he had gone through with Law to get to the point of this fight to try and think of a new attack.
His eyes widened when he thought back to Law's fight with Vice-Captain Zoro on their way to 'Alabasta', remembering what Law did when he realized Zoro had stronger 'Armament Haki' than him.
It was just like right now with this big guy.
*ZIZIZIZ*
Mr. 4 stopped as he was about to attack when Bepo started condensing his 'Electro' into a ball in between his paws before he started slowly pulling them apart, making the ball of light blue electricity elongate as he moved.
Once it was about two feet long, Bepo covered his arms in 'Armament Haki' and grabbed the short blade of electricity in his right paw.
"Eleknife!!!"
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Mr. 4 immediately signaled for more explosive baseballs to be fired at him once he saw the electrical ball and hit them at Bepo right as he finished making his new attack.
Too bad for him, Bepo already used 'Shave' to come right behind him with his 'Eleknife' aimed to stab Mr. 4's back.
*ZIZIZIZIZ* *COUGH*
Mr. 4 was electrocuted throughout the inside of his body, making his cough up blood as his eyes went white.
*BOOOOM*
Bepo watched as his opponent was knocked out by his attack even though he guarded against it with his strong 'Armament Haki'.
Bepo looked over to see that Chopper had seemed to use one of his 'Rumble Balls' and his 'Monster Point', stomping on the ground. Bepo sweat-dropped at the sight.
Bepo's sweat-drop became larger when he looked to see the massive trail Chopper's legs made in the sand by getting dragged around.
'Guess he just had enough.' Bepo thought to himself before he used 'Shave' to go help his friend.
"Carving Hoof: Stomp!!!"
*BOOOOOOM!!!!*
Bepo watched the massive Chopper stomp his foot covered in 'Armament Haki' on the ground, making the mole woman get flattened into the ground.
"How the hell did he grow so damn big?…" She muttered before passing out.
"Nice job, Chopper!!" Bepo shouted up to his massive friend, who blinked and looked over when he heard him.
"Hehehehe, your praise doesn't make me happy at all!! Hehehehe."
Bepo sweat-dropped at the sight of a 'Monster Point' Chopper dancing back and forth. He was surprised when Chopper suddenly went from his 'Monster Form' to his regular little form.
"AH!" Chopper exclaimed before he started slowly leaning forward.
Bepo sweat-dropped again when Chopper fell face-first onto the ground out of exhaustion.
"Crap, three minutes."
"I'll just carry you…"

ntc15 Yo! 33rd chapter done! I feel like I underused Ms. Doublefinger and her devil fruit in this fight, but it's whatever. I mean, in canon she grew spikes out of her feet to stand on the ceiling like fucking Naruto!! She did get big shocked though, so no ninja shit for her. It's also hilarious how Chopper is popping 'Rumble Balls' like Megumi was summoning Mahoraga, but 'Monster Point' with a Chopper that knows 'Armament Haki' just goes so fucking hard.
Anyway, next week will have the last three chapters of 'Alabasta' and the week after will be the start of 'Skypiea', so stay tuned for that!
