After a few days, Tyr already recovered enough to roam around.
He was given a yukata by Koushiro that thankfully fit him and Tyr looked at what they did there.
"A dojo huh? This place seems legit." Tyr nodded at the training of the students.
He saw Kuina swing a bamboo sword with great accuracy and precision.
Tyr whistled as he nodded at her. "Tyr! You're already up? Don't you need to rest more?" Kuina went up to him.
"No, not really. I told you, I'm strong. I'm just built different." Tyr ruffled her hair.
"Ey! Stop messing up my hair!" Kuina scowled at him and he laughed.
"So, you want to wield the sword? You're pretty good." Tyr smiled at her.
"Umu! I'm gonna be the strongest swordswoman ever!" Kuina nodded in determination.
"Well, if you want to get stronger. You should eat a lot more meat, I noticed that you guys mostly eat a lot more carbs here, let's change that." Tyr was hungry as hell.
And he didn't exactly want to ask for all of their food. He knew how much he could eat.
"Meat?" Kuina tilted her head. "Yeah, meat. Meat is love, meat is life." Tyr went outside and he stretched for a bit.
"Hmmm, my wings are healing up nicely. Those damned lapdogs gave me quite a beating." Tyr frowned, remembering the shigans he received on his wings.
He tested them a bit to see if he could fly now. "I'll be back in a jiffy, Kuina. I'll get us a lot of meat." Tyr laughed as he flapped his wings.
"Woah... That's nice, I wish I could fly too..." Kuina saw him fly to the skies.
After a few minutes, the other students of the dojo saw something huge falling from the sky.
"It's a bird!" One of them pointed at it. "No you idiot, it's a blimp!" Another argued.
"That's a huge boar..." Kuina squinted her eyes and saw it.
They then ran away to dodge it and it impacted the ground with a heavy thud that caused small tremors.
Kuina fell on her butt as she stared at it anxiously.
"What's the commotion?" Koushiro appeared and he saw the huge ass boar that was the size of a house.
"What in the world?" Koushiro blinked and someone landed on top of it. Black flames blazing behind his back.
"Yo, I've got us some meat. Aren't you glad, Koushiro?" Tyr smirked at him and Koushiro massaged his temples.
"Even if the whole village feasted on that thing, we won't be able to finish it all..." Koushiro thought it was a waste.
"Hoh? You're underestimating me, Koushiro." Tyr took a blade from the dojo and started dismantling it.
"I can finish this whole thing by myself. But I'm sharing with Kuina to give her the protein she needs." Tyr ruffled her hair.
"Oi, brats. Go gather me some firewood, we will be having meat today for lunch!" Tyr ordered the trainees and they cheered.
Quickly gathering the firewood needed to cook the boar.
"Come on, Kuina. Let's barter with others for ingredients with this." Tyr carried a couple of ribs from the boar in order to barter for spices and sauces.
"U-un! Let's go!" Kuina followed him like a duckling.
"Hah, a troublesome one might have arrived. But I'm glad Kuina's enjoying herself." Koushiro chuckled.
After watching the Boa sisters cook a lot for him. He learned a thing or two and busted out some knives.
"Woah, dad... You think he's already better than me in handling a blade?" Kuina had stars in his eyes as Tyr cooked like a demon.
"Honey... I think that's just pure instincts and his body compensating. Though I would like to see how he'll do once he trained." Koushiro thought it was unbelievable.
A six foot tall five year old can throw hands with a beast that was the size of a damned house.
And he obviously knew how to use his body efficiently.
"Tyr! Want to train swordsmanship!?" Kuina asked him and he thought about it for a second.
"Maybe? Let me think about it for now." Tyr thought his attack potency would increase with a blade. But it's an art that would take him years to master.
He can't even use all the techniques of the rokushiki right now. Namely; geppo, rankyaku, and shigan.
"Awww, I'll wait then!" Kuina got down a bit, but the sound and smell of something getting fried upped her mood instantly.
"Order is served, Tyr's special tonkatsu." Tyr served a huge cutlet and slathered it in a sweet and salty sauce, packing a load of umami.
"Waaah! Itadakimasu!" Kuina started going ham on her tonkatsu and Tyr smiled fondly at the kids eating to their heart's content.
"Wow! This is amazing! Thanks! Big bro Tyr!" The trainees were all smiles.
"Thanks for this, I'm sure they will remember this memory." Koushiro had a warm smile on his face.
"Well, don't you think children enjoying themselves is a reward of its own?" Tyr chuckled.
"You sound like an old man... When you're younger than even Kuina. If you really are younger." Koushiro still doubted he was that young.
"Well, what can I say? I'm just built different." Tyr shrugged.
"Oi! I challenge you to a duel, Kuina! Wait... What's that?" A kid that had two bamboo swords with him appeared suddenly.
"Ahhh, Zoro. Can you wait? Kuina and the other disciples are eating Tyr's tonkatsu." Koushiro smiled wryly.
"Tonkatsu!? That's tonkatsu!?" Zoro blinked at the size of it.
"Want some too, squirt? There's a lot to go around." Tyr pointed at the meat on a huge table.
There were thousands of pounds of it. Waiting to be cooked, still.
"Really? Wait a minute, I'm not a squirt! You're just big!" Zoro glared at him.
"Well, do you want some or not?" Tyr asked him again and he piped down.
"Yes please." Zoro sat down in front of Kuina and he drooled at the sight of her munching on some crunchy pork.
"Hey, Kuina. Who's the new guy? Why does he have wings. And why is he burning?" Zoro looked at him stealthily.
As stealthily as a kid can, of course. "Oh! That's Tyr! He's super strong you know! He hunted down a huge boar while injured!" Kuina pointed at a portion of the dojo to show how large it was.
"Strong? Do you think he'll train me? So I can finally beat you!" Zoro gritted his teeth.
"Hahaha! How many times does that make it now? A few hundred losses?" Kuina laughed at him and Zoro glared at her.
"Feisty little squirt, isn't he?" Tyr chuckled as he pointed at Zoro.
"Well, he's declared Kuina as his number one rival. Though he would have a much easier time than trying to use a two-sword style." Koushiro sighed.
"Yeah, I have a feeling that fighting style shouldn't be attempted by squirts yet." Tyr snorted sarcastically.
"He's undeterred though, maybe he will learn it in due time. He's quite talented." Koushiro acknowledged Zoro's talents.
"Well, he has all the time in the world. Oi, squirt! Ready to have some meat?" Tyr served him some pulled pork meat buns.
Some ground pork katsus, meatball subs, and flame grilled porkchops.
"Woah, thanks!" Zoro forgot he even called him squirt and started eating like he was starving.
"Why does he have more than me?" Kuina pouted at Tyr.
"Ohhh, getting jealous now? Don't worry, little bird. He obviously needs a little more growing. Though you'll have something special for saving me." Tyr served her the crispy belly.
"Ooh!" Kuina beamed at him immediately. "You are forgiven." Kuina nodded and he laughed.
After stuffing themselves senseless. Tyr started eating and picked the boar clean.
Leaving a few hundred pounds for the other villagers so they would love him to bits. After all, manipulating your PR is necessary for a smooth sailing life.
"Woah... Did he just eat thousands of pounds of meat?" Zoro blinked with Kuina.
"He did..." Kuina can't believe her eyes. She thought she ate a lot. But she couldn't hold a candle to him.
"Ahhh, pork's nice and all. But sea kings is where's its at." Tyr sighed in content at having a decent meal.
"I didn't know you were starving..." Koushiro paled, imagining him eating all their rice and stores of meat.
"Don't even think about it. I told you, I'm built different." Tyr laughed and Koushiro sighed.
"Sea kings!? You eat sea kings!?" Kuina went up to him immediately.
"Yeah, I hunt them down myself. They're great for morning exercise, make yourself nice and hungry, you know?" Tyr smiled.
'This guy's insane...' Zoro blinked owlishly. "Hey! Train me!" Zoro demanded.
"What's in it for me?" Tyr asked him back and Zoro winced.
"Uhhh, when I become the world's strongest swordsman, you'll have the honor of training him!" Zoro nodded in self-satisfaction.
"Eh, hard pass." Tyr thought he needed to train more before getting into Garp's special haki training of getting beaten to death.
And he planned on going to Dawn island as he saw a map earlier.
It was pretty close, so he wants to stay there for the time being to meet with Garp.
He was hiding the pirate king's kid there. So Tyr was confident that he can bide his time at Foosha village for now.
"Haha! You got rejected! Tyr's obviously going to train me!" Kuina was confident that he would agree.
"Eh, not really." Tyr shrugged and Kuina was shocked as well.
"Now, now, children. You can't force Tyr to do anything for you." Koushiro sighed at them.
"Ey! Why would he train you when I'm the one who needs it! Let's fight for it then!" Zoro drew his bamboo swords.
"You're on!" Kuina retrieved her own and Tyr sighed.
"It's like they have selective hearing or something." Tyr rolled his eyes.
"Well, they aren't as mature as you." Koushiro chuckled.
They then went into a stand off. "Really? Two sword style? That's really bold."
"Here I come!" Zoro charged at Kuina and the girl just parried Zoro's slashes. She then swung her sword while he overreached.
"Ahhh, that's that." Tyr sighed and Kuina went for a thrust on his chest, soundly defeating Zoro.
"Another win for me! Tyr's training will be focused on me! I'm the one who's going to be the strongest swordsman!" Kuina nodded sagely and Zoro gritted his teeth at his defeat.
"Not possible, I'm leaving soon you know?" Tyr shocked her once again.
"So soon? Don't you need to recover fully first?" Koushiro raised a brow.
"I need to be somewhere, I'll leave you guys a little gift. Sell it, eat it, or store it. Do whatever you want. I need to leave before sundown." Tyr flew to the seas to catch a sea king.
"He'll be leaving already?" Kuina frowned heavily.
"You can't stop him Kuina, he looks like he needs to do something." Koushiro patted her head.
After an hour or so, Tyr swam back to shore with a huge sea king with him.
It was easily 100 feet long which was relatively small for sea kings. Yet it eclipsed the size of the dojo of Koushiro.
"A sea king!?" Koushiro wondered how they will get rid of all of it.
"Pretty neat gift no? You can sell it for a lot of money." Tyr laughed and the kids looked at him in awe.
"Are you really going to leave already, Tyr?" Kuina did the puppy dog eyes on him. But with his haki, he resisted the mental attack.
"Yeah, don't worry though. I'll visit, and you better be a great swordswoman by then." Tyr ruffled her hair.
"Can't you at least tell me your secret to getting strong?" Zoro asked him expectantly.
"Well, eat lots of meat and exercise a lot." Tyr smiled at them.
Kuina started tearing up as she really liked him. He also believed in her dream.
"Tearful goodbyes are sad, send me off with a smile. So when we meet again, we'll have a jolly good time." Tyr wiped her tears and she nodded.
"Return when you decide if you want to train in the sword, okay!?" Kuina sniffled.
"Well, a promise is a promise. You too, Zoro. I'd advise you to train your patience though." Tyr waved at them.
"Come, I'll lead you to your boat." Koushiro smiled at him as Tyr made an impact on Zoro and Kuina, even if he was only there for a short time.
"I'll come back to visit." Tyr waved as he walked with Koushiro to the shore.
